Great place to go to a concert,,drinks are expensive tho,,really of putting,,,
The arena is brilliant and the refreshments are reasonably priced. Plenty of bars and food places to choose from. Even seated quite far back the atmosphere/experience is brilliant. Great place for live music
The Hydro is always an amazing place to see any kind of show... staff always so helpful & courteous. I was part of a 17 strong hen-do for a showing of Still Game on Sat 5th Oct.. our original seats had restricted views on some of them... we were all relocated & allocated new seats together... centre stage infront of VIP pods... couldn't have had any better, thank you!! 1 down side is that bar area always a little slow & just a tad expensive... but doesn't stop me from frequenting it!
Transport to afternoon event from George Square awful service with return services terminated early about 5pm. Will consider other means to event if return
Easy to get to and plenty people to help find seats etc
Prefer a more intimate venue. Struggled to see the act - thank goodness for the large screens
Excellent arena and very professional organisation.
Love the venue and everytime i come here to see something, its amazing
A good venue for catching some good shows. However parking, food and general merchandise costs are way too expensive.
Love this place always have great artists and is well laid out.
Visit every year for Strictly and still get lost. However the staff are really friendly and always have a good view. Very expensive for food and drink. Great place to go and see live acts.
Really good venue. Been to boxing and a concert here. Not a bad seat in house and the stewarding staff are polite friendly and helpful.
Customer Service needs some work here's hopping new Director Debbie Mc Williams will deal with poor response when booking a wheelchair
Fab wee nite. The Steamie Dolly was Fantastic. Totally recomend a visit. Well done guys. It was a birthday prezzie for me, from my family
Easy to access and view good regardless of where you are sitting. Didn't buy anything for eating or drinking so can't comment on that.
Had an amazing night at Khalid and all the staff were great from start to finish
Easy to find easy parking and helpful staff, great place
Boom!!! 1975 are out of this world!
Pale waves, no rome!
Had a great time . What a lovely environment !
Thanks Glasgow.
Good organization, friendly and professional service
Went to see Deacon Blue with the VIP access. Brilliant as usual with the private bar and toilets closer by. Really friendly staff and well organised letting you know when the show is starting and no stampede when leaving. Great sound and atmosphere. Well worth the extra expense for the good seats and bar access etc. The only way to enjoy a show.
I love paying extortionate prices for plastic toys that don't even survive the journey out of the car park, of which we spent an hour in.
Fantastic venue! Very well organised and easy to find your way around, especially for such a large place. The staff were brilliant too. Helpful and extremely pleasant.
Great venue very big place very expensive for drinks and food though.
Currently here to "see" Elvis but cant see screen as its blocked by a bank of what I believe is speakers. Majority of people that were sitting in same area have tried to move to other areas of arena. NOT HAPPY.
A magnificent building. Every seat is a good seat. Staff seemed well trained. Security was high but we'll organized. We saw Elvis, live in stage in stage 2017. - Fantastic !!
We got there early, which is not normal for our group, but it paid off because we got wrist bands for the private bar so could avoid the queues. It was also open for an hour after the show so the fun could go on a bit longer and again we could avoid the queues. Very friendly staff!
Big shed, ok for certain events but not really my kind of place for a concert.
Actually very quick service in the food and drink vendors and prices are FAIRLY reasonable. Kendrick was great too
Good place for a GIG food prices a wee bit expensive
Amazing venue, well designed, spacious and comfortable with good facilities... Bars, toilets, fast food places..etc!
went to see George Ezra in march, drinks were extremely expensive but great show.
The only good thing about the Hydro is the number of toilets. Unless you are lucky enough to get floor seats, and even then you'll need to be near the front and not be sitting behind someone taller than you, then you'll be watching the performance on the large screens as the arena is far far too big. Also the choices of drinks is abysmal.
It was great but there is a leak beside stage and they made us stand outside in the rain for over an hour without letting us know. I would of never expected that
Even if someone in front of you stands, you can remain seated & still see the show
Venue is great apart from huge speakers I think, hanging from the ceiling which obstructs audience view from the higher seats.
Great venue.... looks great inside & outside. Friendly staff & service good. Great place to go and see a music concert. Stalls & shops quite expensive,no more expensive than any other venue of this sort.
Top class seeing Ed Sheeran, however - floor was the stickiest I've ever been on... couldn't dance because shoes were sticking to the floor!!!
Easy car parking and good communication while in the venue
Great venue, with professional staff which makes for an amazing night out! Thanks Hydro.
Had a great experience here. Friendly staff, excellent facilities
Access not great and internal stairs very, very steep
One of the best venues I've been to for a rock gig great views and sound .
Staff are very helpful and it is and easy place to fine, food and drink not too badly priced.
Been trying all day to book accessible seating for a concert. The tel line is the ONLY way to book tickets if you are disabled! Every time I get past the automated message, someone answers and immediately cuts me off! Clearly SSE Hydro do not value disabled customers, or even want to serve them! Disgusted!!
Came to see Hugh (Big shug) on Tuesday night and waw it was amazing. was a problem with the female toilets but was sorted as quickly as it could be and the staff were very friendly and helpful
Great nite out brilliant concert plenty off places to get and drink
Glasgow's premier live venue is a wonderful place to visit. I have attended many events here from music to MMA to comedy and have always enjoyed the atmosphere. The drink prices are reasonable for this type of venue and the toilets are clean enough. The staff are helpful and the sound system is great. My only criticism is that the drinks are served up in plastic glasses. I know it's a safety thing, but I still don't like it. All the same, I give it 5 stars.
Nice venue inside although if you're in the cheap seats at the back be prepared for very poor sound. Food and drink is overpriced which is to be expected.
Massive venue, we watched WWE here and it was amazing. Sounds is perfect and it's big enough for thousands of people to see easily and enjoy the show
Big corporate shed .Waited in a queue for over an hour to get in after being there early enough and missed the start of the concert.Bar ran out of drink unbeknown to me and others who had been in the queue for 15 minutes.Security barged his way across the bar shutting it off and frightened a female customer and then acted hostile to said female verbally.Chemical Brothers were professional g4s were far from it. Shame it's the place most artists go to as it has no soul .
Second time visiting the venue, excellent venue for shows don't fancy the level 3 seats though.
