The Five Stars are for the superb Andrea Bocelli, and everyone involved in his show!!
Fantastic.
I was in the floor seats, thus near the stage, which is great. The upper levels in this venue are not for me! I can watch a big screen at home!

An accident waiting to happen. You need sherpa guides and grappling hooks to reach top tier seats. Very dangerous for infirm and elderly. Did Glasgow really need this venue anyway. Armadillo is hardly used now We also have 2 O2's and the Royal concert hall plus others. Why so many?

This entertainment campus hosts celebrities and shows from the world over. Easy to get to from Glasgow Central and Queen Street train stations, via taxi or the subway. Food and drink is REALLY pricey though.

This is a fantastic venue and now gets the best shows in the city, if not all of Scotland.
The Auditorium has a huge capacity and is well laid-out so you get a good show no matter where you are.

Great venue if you're here for a concert or a show. Very easy to reach by public transport.

The hall itself offers great seating all round. Even the 'cheap seats' will not take away from the enjoyment!

Been to the Hydro a few times for concerts and the facilities are great as are the staff. Word of warning though, level2 seats are high! Level 3 seats... you are with the gods and it is steep.

Went to see Flight of the Conchords at the SSE Hydro and this has to be the best concert venue I have ever been in. I hate when you have to strain to see an act on stage even with big screens but that wasn't an issue here. Plus queues for food and drink went down quickly so you are in your seat pretty much within 20 minutes from entry. Great venue will visit again for sure.

SECC hydro in Glasgow, west life concert. My daughter who has Cerebral palsy, and has severe mobility issues. Attended this venue tonight. However she was not allowed to take her disabled walking aid into the venue, instead the people with her had to hold her and assist her to her seat, or she was being refused entry. So much for diversity and inclusion. Poor show SECC hydro, Outrageous behaviour by your poorly trained staff!!!This is about my niece

This has to be one of the best concert venues I have been to. I have been to concerts all over the world and the organisation and staff at the SSE Hydro was incredible.
From parking (pay in advance to speed up leaving after the show) to the help directing everyone to their seats, everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were spotless and easy to find throughout. The physical venue itself is beautiful, a really incredible place. Acoustics and views were brilliant and after the show the managment and streamlining and facilitating everyone leaving was brilliant.
I can't wait to go back!

I found this to be a great venue for rock music.

I found this to be a great venue for rock music.
Pros- The acoustics were awesome. With rock music being played loud there was very little distortion in the guitar sound.
The event staff were very helpful in getting me to my seat.
When seated your view wasn't obscured by the person seated in front of you.
The food court was reasonable priced.
Parking was a breeze with the multistory car park attached to the venue.
Cons- Signage could be better when arriving at the venue and car park. It can be a bit confusing and spars at times.
TOP TIP- Pay for your parking before you enter the Hydro. It will save you time when you leave.
