We attended stereophonics last night and had to swap tickets from standing to seating which was fine but only given one ticket between 3 of us. Missed some of the show due to not been stamped for entry in and out and one of your colleagues was extremely rude and very unhelpful. Her attitude was apauling. Then I was made to feel very intimadated by someone sitting in thr disability area were me and my friends were because I sto up to dance, I wasn't blocking anyone or making a scene. Wouldn't hurry back

Great place depending on what is on, the seating is extremely comfortable for an arena. I found most of the staff to be very helpful and more than considerate if you are a person of impaired mobility. Negatives...can take a while to get in (as would be expected with 13.000 people) bar que can be very long and unfortunately the service is slow I found.

Gig was phoenomona and the great sound system adds to that. HOWEVER the stupidly placed screens meant that the act was obscured, even although they are designed to be transparent. I was there for a different gig a couple of weeks earlier and screens were either side of the stage. That made much more sense.

Immediately drawing comparisons with Sydney s Opera House, this building has become one of Glasgow s iconic images since 1997. The SEC Armadillo contributes to a highly futuristic postcode that also includes the neighbouring The SSE Hydro (a gigantic flying saucer) and the SEC. The epicentre of the concert scene in the city, Foster s style is a far cry from the sandstone jungle to be found in the nearby west end. Tradition was not to be ignored however as the layered exterior design was created to represent interlocking hulls of ships a nod to Glasgow s shipbuilding past.

Venue is good and easily accessible but avoid the multi storey carpark at all costs. Over 1 hour to move 0.2 mile in the car park. It was horrendous. We sat 45 minutes without moving at one point. Find alternate parking arrangements to avoid being angered after your show.

Fantastic venue. Not so great infrastructure.

Fantastic venue. Not so great infrastructure.

Was here for the Walking with Dinosaurs show(which was excellent by the way). Took an age to get and out of the car park. The car park is really badly positioned and which meant that cars were missing the entrance and then blocking traffic. If you are going to come here with the car I would recommend giving yourself an extra 45min. After the show it took 25min from arriving in the car park until we excited(I had even prepaid so avoided an additional queue) and of course we were then in to the expected busy traffic.

The venue itsself is great and I would say that you are unlikely to ever have a "bad" seat.

Decent selection of food and drink at the normal prices you would expect for a venue of this type.

Went to see the steamie 28 dec. had seats in stalls it was a bit difficult to see. People were bringing food and drink into show what a mess was left I felt sorry for the people who have to clean up. I asked if they had hearing aid for the hard of hearing as this is quite a new venue they didn't so I couldn't hear anything.

The show was for my son and he loved it. The prices for drinks and food were disgraceful and total exploitation of a captive audience. The food was also total unedable garbage. Pathetic. Wont be back. Shame on you as the tickets were already very expensive.

Great place, perfect size and loads of choice of food and drinks on site. The stage set up is excellent and the sound is perfect. So easy to get to also. Love this music venue. Only a shame Edinburgh don't have a venue like this
