Went to see Imagine Dragons here yesterday. The arena is great, yes busy when the doors open, not sure what arena isn t, but it cleared very quickly. The seats are so comfortable and spacious for an arena, best I ve seats I ve had! Will definitely be a top location option for the next event!

Awesome venue with great food stalls, especially during bigger events. I'm a vegetarian and there are usually few options I can pick from, such as veggie burgers, quorn hot dogs or veggie pizza. Alcohol is a but pricey but that's usual in such event venues.

I've seen over a dozen bands here and the sound is way better than most venues of this size. Especially compared to the SECC.
I also like that venue is very versatile with plenty of seating options. Eg I saw Metallica in the round last month (last time was Def Leppard at the SECC in 1992 with Gun supporting), a great way to get close to the band. But also The Still Game and Kevin Bridges gigs with plenty of floor seating meant you could get close to the action. The same was true of Madeline Peyroux. It's a shame it's not bigger to accommodate the bigger bands. But that's no genuine criticism.

A very good venue for the annual 3 night c2c country music festival that this year transferred from the adjacent smaller Armadillo concert hall. While it isn't as acoustically accomplished, it accommodates with ease almost double the audience 'in the round' (the stage is actually on one side of the circle, if you can imagine that). It's facilities (refreshments, merchandise, etc) are well up to the task of meeting the needs of c.7000 concert-goers so I can certainly recommend the Hydro.

Nice arena, views were good but the sound was a little sketchy at times, I think the speakers were too far away. Oh, and get drinks before the show starts, the bars are absolutely rammed inbetween bands.

So huge you need to have binoculars to see the stage. Huge speakers suspended from the roof obscure the view . We had to watch the performance on the massive TV screens either side the stage we were so far away the figures on stage were no more than stick figures . Poor sound quality. May as well watch on TV . A live performance? In name only. Add the 20 minute queue to park and another 20 minutes to exit the building and traffic queue to exit the car park why on earth would anyone do this more than once!

I went to the SSE Hydro the first time for the Strictly Come Dancing roadshow. The venue itself was pretty good, although the seating at the top was a bit too far away from the stage to get the full experience and actually be able to watch More

Went to see the Steamie here.. Had a meal at the Rotunda first which was excellent. Can recommend the Salmon. You can leave your car here without any charges and go over to the Hydro. They have an excellent system for dealing with crowds as everyone has door indication on their ticket. We were shown to our seat which was great as it is a huge place. The show was great also. A great day was had by all.

Really crowded and bustling, you kind of need to know what you're doing before hand, but what can you expect at a sold out concert. The staff are really helpful, they will assist if you are lost etc.
