Went to see Bryan Adams, great concert though the sound was just a wee bit distorted
Went to see Bryan Adams, great concert though the sound was just a wee bit distorted
First time here seated and honestly think the view is fab no matter where you are. Great atmosphere.
Easy building to navigate, prices inside are expensive and there isn't many food places nearby
Reasonable gig venue but the drinks are extortionate and I wouldn't bother with the food either.
Went to see Imagine Dragons here yesterday. The arena is great, yes busy when the doors open, not sure what arena isn t, but it cleared very quickly. The seats are so comfortable and spacious for an arena, best I ve seats I ve had! Will definitely be a top location option for the next event!
Seen Russell Howard at this awesome venue , staff were helpful facilities were good. Will definitely visit again for another event .
Awesome venue with great food stalls, especially during bigger events. I'm a vegetarian and there are usually few options I can pick from, such as veggie burgers, quorn hot dogs or veggie pizza. Alcohol is a but pricey but that's usual in such event venues.
Great concert venue, parking ideal as very close proximity to venue. And amazingly easy to exit considering traffic volume.
Great event venue. Massive hall, easy access and convenient parking. Not a huge amount of stuff to do nearby mind you.
Excellent venue. Easy to get in and out. Staff really professional
Amazing venue massive but for the size good acoustics.
A very good place to spend a pleasant time at the concert.
OUTSTANDING gig from George Ezra in a great place. easy to get to and well organised for kicking out time
It's a concrete shell for big gigs. Adequate but not very good acoustically.
I've seen over a dozen bands here and the sound is way better than most venues of this size. Especially compared to the SECC.
I also like that venue is very versatile with plenty of seating options. Eg I saw Metallica in the round last month (last time was Def Leppard at the SECC in 1992 with Gun supporting), a great way to get close to the band. But also The Still Game and Kevin Bridges gigs with plenty of floor seating meant you could get close to the action. The same was true of Madeline Peyroux. It's a shame it's not bigger to accommodate the bigger bands. But that's no genuine criticism.
Love it here sound is awesome.. N me being the staff are so helpful towards me and my family
We enjoy going each year , great place like the Echo arena Liverpool
A very good venue for the annual 3 night c2c country music festival that this year transferred from the adjacent smaller Armadillo concert hall. While it isn't as acoustically accomplished, it accommodates with ease almost double the audience 'in the round' (the stage is actually on one side of the circle, if you can imagine that). It's facilities (refreshments, merchandise, etc) are well up to the task of meeting the needs of c.7000 concert-goers so I can certainly recommend the Hydro.
Great venue and all round great location for a night out
I love the hydro one of the brst venues to go to for a concert.
Great evnue. Plenty of parking but a nightmare trying to get out of the car park afterwards
Amazing venue, best sound system I've heard for a gig!
Big venue for big bands. Good all round experience.
Nice arena, views were good but the sound was a little sketchy at times, I think the speakers were too far away. Oh, and get drinks before the show starts, the bars are absolutely rammed inbetween bands.
Went to see 30 seconds to Mars!! Band was amazing- But the staff were very nice! The huge que outside moved swiftly, and the stewards were very alert to things that were happening!
Went for the Game of Thrones concert experience. First time at the Hydro. Great venue.
Hydro great for standing or seated in the lower areas
Huge venue with good views of the stage and good sound.
Great venue, only downside is at the end of a show it takes ages to get transport out, so arrange to stay overnight at nearby hotel.
Good acoustics and even though it was busy at the bars we were served quickly.
So huge you need to have binoculars to see the stage. Huge speakers suspended from the roof obscure the view . We had to watch the performance on the massive TV screens either side the stage we were so far away the figures on stage were no more than stick figures . Poor sound quality. May as well watch on TV . A live performance? In name only. Add the 20 minute queue to park and another 20 minutes to exit the building and traffic queue to exit the car park why on earth would anyone do this more than once!
Great venue fabulous concert but the row we were in was like a Mexican wave with three quarters of the people going to toilet and bar more than three times each
Been to many gigs and events here always a great night
Council noise regs strike again. Just not loud enough, no criticism on the SSE assuming it's a council thing c
Show was wonderful.. Will never like the venue.. Sorry
Great venue with fantastic sound. Beer is expensive and not great but that's par for the course mainly at venues.
The seating is most uncomfortable, I don't expect to return for this reason alone
I went to the SSE Hydro the first time for the Strictly Come Dancing roadshow. The venue itself was pretty good, although the seating at the top was a bit too far away from the stage to get the full experience and actually be able to watch More
Great building, Modern, plenty of staff and didn't wait long in the food and drinks que.
Surprisingly great sound for a corporate venue. Seems reasonably well organised although could do with some bars in the main arena unless I missed them.
Steve Martin & Martin Short LIVE !
Hilarious show & friendly helpful staff
Inspection of new construction hotels, Courtyard and Moxy.
Went to see the Steamie here.. Had a meal at the Rotunda first which was excellent. Can recommend the Salmon. You can leave your car here without any charges and go over to the Hydro. They have an excellent system for dealing with crowds as everyone has door indication on their ticket. We were shown to our seat which was great as it is a huge place. The show was great also. A great day was had by all.
Really crowded and bustling, you kind of need to know what you're doing before hand, but what can you expect at a sold out concert. The staff are really helpful, they will assist if you are lost etc.
Hot wheels monster trucks was a great show for the kids very disappointed wasn't allowed my camera in had to leave it at front desk food is way over priced
Even in the so called restricted view seats you can see everything, if a bit far away.
Went to see Mark Knopfler and sound was not great. Difficult to pick out instruments and drums sounded like thunder!!
Absolutely amazing, organized queuing and incredible venue
Mixed experience about Hydro the staff are useless and rude.
