The rooms were pretty clean and spacious. The complimentary breakfast was pretty good, with juice, coffee, pastries, etc. Pool was nice and warm, and there was a hot tub. Staff were mostly helpful, but close breakfast on the dot. Very good location, near the heart of the action. Would recommend the local brewery nearby for dinner or drinking.

The hotel was ran very well and overall the stay was very enjoyable. Although the decor may have seen better days the rooms were still clean, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was much better then most other competitors that offer the same. Definitely would come back again.

Uncaring desk service on the terrible pixelated TV signal. No offer to swap rooms just to have someone look at it tomorrow...well checking out tomorrow so that doesn't help much. Mold at base of tub. Elevator makes a loud bang sound everytime I rode up to second floor. A bit unnerving. Started taking stairs. Bathroom very average (icl mold) for $129 a night compared to nice showers at Courtyards for same price. Again TV issues is major pain.

Overcharged for 2 nights Poorly trained staff. CLC corporate lodging sent payment but we were checked in wrong because the employees, " never heard of CLC." And a manager isn't around for 2 days. The girl who gave me an attitude is the one who checked us in, she never told us she changed the name on the reservation or that there was different rates. My CC was charged as opposed CLCs payment that was sent over.

Ok place to stay. Bit expensive for what you get. Centralized in Frankenmuth, so located within walking distance of pretty much everything. Free breakfast, but I recommend you go out for breakfast if you can. If your in Frankenmuth go out for breakfast.

They did not clean out our fridge, there was an old Taco Bell cup in our fridge. The front desk clerk that was working on December 24-25, 2018 was rude. She had an attitude when I asked her for some extra towels. My father called the front desk to request some sheets and she had zero hospitality, she basically threw the sheets in my arms when I answered the door. Look, I get it, no one wants to work on Christmas but I'm paying these expensive rates so I expect to be treated with some respect. I will not be recommending this hotel.

We had two rooms, one for my wife and I and one for out mother-in-law. Our heater/ AC ran continuously. We woke up sweating and had to switch it to AC with snow on the ground outside. My mother-in-law had no hot water in her room, and they also failed to leave her any soap or shampoo. Management didn't seem to care when I informed them of our poor hotel experience. Needless to say, this was our first and last stay at this hotel.

The property and amenities were pretty basic, but we greatly appreciated that the hotel staff was adhering to COVID safety procedures. We stayed at two other properties in Michigan last weekend (Hampton Inn and Courtyard), and the SpringHill Suites Frankenmuth was the safest by far.

We just got done with our stay. We always pull back the sheets when we get a hotel room and the first room had yellow stains on the sheet, mattress pad, and mattress so I'm assuming they didn't change the sheet because it looked the stain went through all three layers. We were moved to a different room and this one seemed more acceptable. The breakfast was okay considering COVID, but the eggs were really watery. The pool was decent, but there were LOTS of clumps of hair in the pool. Like every time you swam one got on you It appeared that they did not clean it because it was this way every time we swam. Our first night was okay, but the blankets were super thin and they only give you one extra blanket, not more. Our second day we started to have ants in our room. they were everywhere, the bathroom, living area and bed area and even a few got on us. ew. That was the nail in the coffin and luckily we were checking out the day the ants were the worst. We will not stay here again. The hotel looks remodeled on the inside but it looks like they need some deep cleaning and repairs.

We stayed here for our wedding and were super pleased with our choice. The hotel is well kept, staff is super friendly, and the complementary breakfast was excellent (not just your typical continental with pastries and fruit). It's in a great location and the rooms have a ton of space. It was also really nice that the pool was open until 11pm. We will absolutely be returning for future visits to Frankenmuth.

The room and lobby were clean. We slept in but the kind lady tidying up from breakfast was gracious to let me pick up food after the set time. What we didn't like was the reception guy who wouldn't allow my wife and I to have a king size bed because we had booked on Priceline. Daniel offered a flimsy reason that it would violate their agreement with Priceline. We had not booked 2 beds with them. The hotel was less than half full. I think he wasn't pleased that we'd booked with Priceline. Do you only want to please the customer when they book higher rates through Marriott?

Nice bed. Room was okay. Service was subpar at best. Somebody was smoking and it stank up our room all night. The management could'nt have cared less. And we were gold perks members. Very unusual experience, we usually have really good service at Marriott. Really bad experience!

Upstairs guest was really noisy, but the hotel was willing to help resolve the issue. For something out of their control (it wasnt bad floor design as an issue. Other people with us had no issue) that's about the best response I could want.

Clean place. Friendly staff. TV is just not of good quality even tho its an LG and the door to our room keeps getting stuck in a locked position.... I hate we only get 30 minutes of pool time per scheduling but the water is warm and feels great. I'm enjoying my stay and would recommend this place to others. Its also very quiet and people are considerate of others.

We planned a nice stay here because we were getting engaged. But the gift shop had nothing ( no soda, juices or drink machines ). The pool was closed, the work out room was closed and we did not have an ice machine on our floor. When we went down for our (grab and go) breakfast there was nothing there but bread ( with no toaster and juice). None of this was wrote on their website and queen room, that was suppose to be a king bed was not worth the money. This was a big mistake for a special day!

Great hotel, we stay every year when we visit Frankenmuth! Rooms are renovated, beds are great & we love it here! Tubs are very very low to the ground but other than that perfect place! Has pool & jacuzzi & grown up time only in pool! Ice is only on 1st floor which is a bummer but its exercise!!!

They have free suckers in the lobby! I mean, really who can ask for anything more?! On a serious note, well kept facility. Always friendly staff. Yummy free breakfast with generous selection. Room is clean, fresh and spacious.

I always write favorable reviews, but I am not able to with this hotel. Guests beware...avoid this hotel! We signed up for a Marriott Card to have points for a room for two nights for us and our adult son. Instead of 15,000 or 20,000 points, this hotel is 30,000 per night (or about $250. on a Saturday night). We used our points for two nights and one night for our son and his wife. 1. It took the friendly, young, desk clerks about 30 mins to be able to set the room so our son didn't have to change rooms 1/2 way through his stay. 2. My husband, teenage son and I were given a handicapped king suite, with one bed and a couch that couldn't open because it hit the end of the bed...not enough room. When asked, we were told there was nothing else available. We traded rooms with our adult son. 3. The handicapped room has a broken shower and shot straight at the wall ahead. Our son had to drape a towel in the shower, and decided to not attempt to use it the second day. 4. For two days the air conditioning was broken and there were no towels in the fitness room, the towel rack was empty. 5. The second day our room key did not work. The clerk was rude and said, "it is after check out time", but we had the room for the second day as well! He was able to fix it, after saying they were booked solid and telling us there was nothing that he could do for us... for a room we had already paid for with 30,000 points! 6. When we did check out, we didn't get a statement for us or our son's room. We wanted to be sure there were no charges. Went to the front desk, and waited with no one there for 5 minutes. Called on my cell phone and it rang for over ten times with no answer. Other calls also came in...no answer. Walked outside to my husband and he shared that front desk clerk was outside smoking a cigarette (his badge indicated he was a manager). Maybe the hotel is short-staffed and overbooked. Also, the pictures are not accurate. The creaky elevator sounded like it wouldn't make it to the floors. The pictures are of a lobby and areas that money was spent on, but don't accurately depict the old hotel with mold in the bathroom, and a lot to be desired. With relatives in that town, we definitely will stay elsewhere. Thankful we didn't have to pay $1000 for our four rooms!!

Got lied to about check in time, got lied to about room prices, argued and finally got a return on some money for the second lie and still after 1 year of all this still getting thank you letters for my stay for exactly the same amount of money that they returned to me everyone needs to watch credit information used at this motel!!!!

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean, had a slight cigarette smoke odor to it but not overpowering. The bed was very comfortable but the sofa was aweful. Everything else was good. No other complaints. Would definitely stay here again just maybe a room without the uncomfortable sofa.
