At first it was a bit confusing to get onto the right boat with the right group, but after that it was a big treat for grownups and children alike. Not all the rides in the playground were available, but stuff do break, so that is ubderstandable. My one big concern I have with the experience was the petting zoo.. there were cats and dogs in cages. Three cats in a little cage with nothing to entertain them. We took out one kitten to cuddle and it stank so much. The poor dogs! It will be better to have an open space where children can play and run with them and really big cages for the cats and the poor monkey. First time in my life to see dogs and cats in a petting zoo. They at least are fed and do not look like the strays you see in the city. The overall feeling of the village is good and the exhibitions and mini-museums are grest as well as the craftsmen. If you have children this is a must visit. When booking at the hotel, they told us the average visiting time is 2 to 3 hours. Well, my son of 6 and I was there for 7 hours...

The Pharaonic Village began with a dream, and Dr. Hassan Ragab was the man behind this dream. The Exhibition reviews the life of the Pharaonic Village's founder Dr. Hassan Ragab through photos from different periods of his life and some of his personal items.

You will get to see his inventions like Ragab's Cryptograph and Papyrus Restoration Machine and also his books along with photos of the early stages of the creation of the Pharaonic Village.

Great to visit with kids. Plan for 3 hours. Good for saving time if in Cairo for short time.

We paid the most expensive price to get more attention and services, however it was a normal trip with an extra payment inside .. The only nice thing was the explanation of the distinctive tourist guide.

It's literally the best thing in the city, so much interesting information about ancient Egypt history and it was very fun, i do suggest to go early so the sun would be out, it was the best part of the trip
