Dinner for 6. Drinks and dinners were hit and miss.
The pear martini and spiked lemonade were major misses. The white sangria and long island ice teas were spot on.
The specials list offered a Filet and Crab Risotto; the rice was NOT the creamy dreamy risotto that I expected. The only thing that made it better was the side of beurre blanc I requested. The biggest loser of the night, by far, was the Fried Chicken and "Waffles. Granted, it was not your Southern style C&W, and even if the waffle (actuallly made of mac and cheese) wasn't burnt black, it was unappetizing. This was sent back for another dish.
The best dishes were the Porchetta E Gnocchi; the Ravioli and Spring Vegetables; and, Scallops and Shrimp Bruciatto. One better than the next!!
