I visited this location to celebrate my birthday for lunch. I was greeted with a Happy Birthday, and each server continued to wish me well on my day. There is a definite ambience and attention to detail here. From the table cloths that are steam-ironed when being changed, a dated leather bound menu, skylight, sleek and simple interior design, fireplaces, minimal artwork in main dining room, you feel very comfortable and welcome. Excellent service, staff very polite and informed about the California cuisine menu. If you are confused about any ingredient, the server is more than happy to help and make recommendations. We chose Steamed Casco Bay Cod, Jasmine Rice and Sweet Soy and Grilled Veal Cop, Black Garlic. The fish was fresh and quite tasty; the bok choy and lotus root was perfect balance with other seasonings. The veal was tender and cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of lemon. On your birthday, you receive a beautifully presented chocolate ball with dark chocolate ice cream, fresh raspberry and cookie crumbs. Perfect end to meal. I was pleased with my experience and the ambience. I will return to try the dinner menu in the future. There is street parking in the area, but at times can be difficult to find something close, depending on the time of day and day of the week. Weekends are busy. Recommend using valet, and making a reservation if time is an issue. However, there is there is a comfortable lounge to wait should you have to wait.

A few weeks before our trade show, we booked Spago s small private room overlooking the fountains for a networking dinner with our business colleagues. When all was said and done, we were totally thrilled how smoothly our entire evening went. Our server and her supporting cast of professional helpers treated us like royalty. Each and every need of our guests was taken into full consideration that memorable evening, and our overall expectations were far exceeded!

We thoroughly enjoyed the unsurpassable Spago ambiance as well as the incomparable menu selections. Might I mention that our glasses never ran dry the entire evening? To cap it off, the sumptuous desserts were a tremendous hit with everyone. Our entire group is still dreaming about that lemon dessert, wow!

Every time we dine at Spago it is a fabulous event. On this occasion, it was so great to have a worry-free evening and simply enjoy ourselves along with our honored guests. Spago will always be among our top choices when dining in Vegas. If you ve not tried it, you are surely missing out on an exceptional experience.

Was expecting better. The service was okay, but it seemed like we weren't really welcome and we're very much rushed out at 930 because we were the waiters last table. Wouldn't go back and won't recommend

Spago is MAGNIFICENT. Basking in the warm and attentive service, delicious bread basket, and top drawer veiner schnitzel, I was in heaven.

Note for those looking at the menu online and worried the veiner schnitzel is not there: apparently this is an off menu item that is nevertheless always available. Good to know, right? Because seriously, I think it's the best entree they have.

the paint chipping on the chairs type things, the breezy service and a feeling that you're herded with tourists keeps puck's place from staying with the top tier of la restaurants. it's lost a step and other top places have moved up. no longer worth the 20% premium in prices that it once commanded.

I admire this restaurant! They offer excellent dishes, their menu is nice, The chief cook in that spot is a professional, I enjoy a lot tasting all their dishes. The food is consistently fresh and tasty, the attitude towards the visitors is good. I often eat in this place and I not even once was disappointed. I highly recommend it.

Went there with family for my Dad's girlfriend's birthday. It was a special night for us because she was only in LA for 2 nights, and this was the centerpiece of her little trip. We don't usually eat at restaurants this expensive. I and my father ordered the Cantonese Duck. After cooking, they came to the table to show the whole duck to me and my Dad. It looked great, and I went to the bathroom to wash my hands. When I returned, they told me that the chef wasn't satisfied with the duck and unfortunately, it was the last duck they had. They offered us a duck fillet, on the house, but it was much different than I expected... and honestly not nearly as good as the duck I ate from the local supermarket when I was living in China. Everything else was exquisite, including the gnocci and little freebies they brought us. Still, for 60 bucks a head, when your entree gets messed up it hurts the experience.

Dinner here in their famous patio: PERFECT

Dinner here in their famous patio: PERFECT
Service is attentive, decor is definition of perfection, food is amazing and you can get the whole "LA experience". Wolfgang himself might just show up- note that he can be heard a mile away. He will gladly take a picture with you if that's what you want.

Bread basket- omg, if I didn't have to order.. I can make a meal out of this. Sooo good
Appetizer-
his famous squah soup- to die for
beet napolean- makes me love beets
Dinner entree- not as memorable. I had duck with noodles and it tasted good but it didn't knock my socks off (I'm sure it was very innovative about 20 years ago)
Dessert- DID YOU KNOW THAT SHERRY YARD WORKS HERE? I don't know if she personally made my dessert but it was fabulous. It was gone before my date could try it.

Over all, I loved it. Everything was spot on. There might be an ounce of pretentiousness but eh, I can get over it.

Patio dining on a spring day defines posh yet casual California dining and its history -even without celebrity watching or Chef Wolfgang making the rounds. The busboy found me bread heels! (the end of the bread). He turns out to be a sommelier in training who happily shared his knowledge about wine AND wine glasses. The scrumptious new seeded crackers could make an entire meal. The best piece of fish, most originally dressed up with a ruffled scale among the lunch dishes thoughtfully divided in two for us. Pastry Chef Sherry Yard is gone but no need for dessert with so many savory dishes to choose from here!

I went for the Texas Film Commission event so we didnt have to pay. But i can add that the food was delicious and the service staff was friendly. There was valet parking, but we found street parking on the corner. The restaurant looked small from the outside but was actually a pretty large place. They have outside seating as well. I highly recommend the cherry cobbler. There was also a corn pasta which was phenomenal!

Accurate food reviews here led us to try the tasting menu which was tasty and a lot of fun. Came here for a date night and loved the ambience and the service provided.

Dinner wasn't all that to be honest. Small portions with a huge check. I would choose other restaurants in Beverly Hills over this place.

It's always good to visit tho and cross it off your bucket list other than that it really isn't a big deal as everyone seems to make out of it. There are other hot spots in LA that can top off this place.

The food quality was great and that is why I'm giving four stars the wine selection was divine another reason for the four stars other than that I don't think I'll come back again for dinner.

High end food. Pricey but flavors are amazing. Try the Tuna Cone or the Bacon Macaroon. Whatever you order, you will not be disappointed, especially with Chef Tetsu reigning over the kitchen.

Considering the restaurant, I expected more.

Considering the restaurant, I expected more.
We were able to snag a table without any issue after the kings game which was nice.
We decided on the Chirashi Sushi Box, Iced Fanny Bay Oysters, Tuna Tartar in a crispy cone. Sushi box was okay, but I've had better at other locations that packed more flavor. The cone was so small and really wasn't anything special or memorable. Lastly, the Iced Fanny Bay Oysters was probably the best thing we ordered and that's not a good thing.

FRENCH BLACK TRUFFLES and HANDMADE AGNOLOTTI, love at first sight and bite! - It s been years, yet I didn t have to think twice where I wanted to lunch on a Friday afternoon than here. Just as I had remembered their bar is intoxicating; patio is inviting, and dining room is beautiful AND impeccable was the service!

Fabulous were their other iconic dishes, Smoked Salmon Pizza and Veal Wienerschnitzel . Yet, I will be skipping their unexciting banana foster mille-feuille dessert in the future; I ll be having another one of their fabulous cocktails instead - Mesmerizing!
