Amazing place good environment and if you re there get a massage and ask for Kris she s an angel !!
Prima omgeving. Goed verzorgd en de spa is zeer ontspannen.
Facilities are great and clean. Staff, however, unfriendly and unhelpful. Moreover, it is really outrageous that prices are higher during swimwear days than on the other days ...
It was really great and relaxing. It is worth going on weekend on a full day with 'delicious' package - it has dinner included. A lot of great saunas and great service. Wearing no clothes really makes you fully relax.
It was a really nicr experience. The atmosphere was very relaxing and there where a lot of facilities. Everything was very clean and the service was excellenylt.
It was ok. Except that the steam cabin is full of black fungus and I am a long patient
Good pleasant sauna. Just having two swimwear days is strange. 1 should be more than enough. From September 1, 2020 THREE BATHWEAR DAYS. This makes SPA PURE THE TIKIBAD OF AMSTERDAM
SPA very welcoming !!! You need to relax here will surely find the peace you need !! Neither mobile phones nor cameras are allowed so you can relax without worries, in this place you only turn with towel, the costume is allowed only Tuesday and Thursday. Deserves !!!
Wonderful to be here. Get away from your normal life. Many options and clean
Good spa, but not perfect. Hygiene is good, there are various spa's, enough resting areas and a luxurious look and feel. Aufguss programs are always a little too crowded though, and the food and service can be improved. Food is good enough, but nothing special, service can give you the feeling of being processed.
Been on a swimwear day and am downright baffled. For starters, I wonder why there are 2 or even 3 swimwear days a week. The consequence of this is that an audience enters that does not belong in a sauna. Another downright baffling fact is that at least 1 but also 2 people are continuously walking around who are security and do nothing else. Why on earth is this necessary? That gradually became clear to us. There are a considerable number of people present from North African descent, who behave very strangely and display an annoying presence. They are also constantly watching every woman who comes by. Which also creates an unpleasant atmosphere. It also seems as if they are in a shisha lounge and they just smoke without security intervention.
Staff in the hospitality industry is understaffed and there must be at least 2 people, waiting times are long and that is not due to the staff, who are constantly running their work.
This company should seriously consider whether this is what a sauna should be. Another Amsterdam swimming pool which is a no go area for women.
In my opinion all this has little to do with a normal sauna.
An absolute must!
i got kicked out from the spa restaurant because i had no slippers on. i wanted to order food, to pay for it, but the girl didn t want to serve me.. why? i am eating with my foots? i didn t visit zuiver for 5 years and now i know why. there are plenty of other saunas how treats better the clients. bad experience and wasting of time
In my opinion too many swimwear days. Twice a week! Furthermore, very spacious spa with many facilities. Paid parking is quite substantial after a day of relaxation. Restaurants offer enough healthy dishes and service is attentive. Often busy on weekends but not over the top.
It's so nice in the spa! Super relaxed. Clean and pleasant. Acceptable prices!
Not too crowded. The other guests are also very pleasant.
Shampoo and shower gel are free in the shared shower.
I really love Zuiver, the main reason I go Amsterdam every year. Zuiver hotel guest have free access to the spa and gym. It is expensive, but it is well worth it.
Spa is very busy, unfriendly staff including the expensive hospitality industry (and you have no choice). Hospitality staff unfriendly, busy and not thinking along. Not recommended
A very neat and luxurious feel to the lobby and the staff is very friendly. Sometimes there can be quite a waiting line for the desk though.
But do not forget the bathrobe ... The fun then costs again 8.5 otherwise it would have become 5 stars.
Hai SpaZuiver, I went to see you last week, and booked a hamman date scrub for me and a girlfriend of less than 100 euros in total. Arrived in the hamman it was really cold there. You lie on a reasonably warm stone, but your body cools completely. Absolutely NOT relaxing so. We indicated it there, and the girl immediately reported it to management. At the checkout we were told nothing could be changed .. and have offered us 2 wines worth 8 euros. I think this is really very bad ... we come every month .... a badly adjusted temperature can occur, but you cannot let your customers pay 100 euros, while they have to lay goosebumps for half an hour.
Top relaxation! Great accommodations, wonderful spa and very nice people all around.
Modern spa, wide variety of saunas, beautiful swimming pool that extends outside
We bought Spa vouchers over the internet. Woow Zuiver Spa is really a great wellness destination, located outside Amsterdam in a park. Well equipped changing facilities, warm large in and outdoor pool filled with salty water. Many saunas to choose from, steam rooms, relaxing rooms, jacuzzis all over the place. Lovely restaurant with a super relaxation lounge. To sum it up an awesome destination. Must try. Good parking facility (extra pay)
DISGUSTING how Spa Zuiver deals with their regular guests. I just received a message that my subscription for the sauna has simply been canceled, and cannot be repaired later when the corona is over !!!!!
I have had this subscription since 2013 and find it very rude
how Spa Zuiver is abusing the corona virus by simply canceling their subscription to all guests, even though I have been faithfully paying my contribution on time for 7 years.
But now there is TOTALLY NO CUSTOMER FRIENDLY against it.
So people be alert, this sauna is not suitable for people who thought that this is and was a good sauna, I have now found out because of the crisis.
Good sports facilities and the best spa in the region, friendly staff and quality are of paramount importance!
very nicely decorated. nice atmosphere. food overpriced and staff unenergetic.
The spa is awesome. Hotel rooms average. Friendly staff
Water in the pool was cold. For the sessions you have to be on without a guarantee in one place. There is no quiet rest room. If you want to be sure of a place in the restaurant you must make a reservation. And the food on offer in the "rest room" is very limited in terms of choice and times. Due to the dozens of stairs and steps, it is not suitable for the disabled.
Slowly becoming less and less: was it previously wonderfully relaxed and did you feel pampered ... now busy, looking for a hook for your things, do you want to relax, all the beds and benches in the caldarium are occupied, scrub salt cut back (!!!!) and no more place to put your own and your shampoo. No, looking for something else but again. Unfortunately!
greeting Ankie Veldhuis
Comfortable sauna with adequate facilities. Infusions were good. Should be allowed more often than every 1.5 to 2 hours since it was packed every time.
Too bad the salt scrub only outside. If it is cold'm not rich exfoliating there. Maybe austerity. serving duck restaurant. Although restaurants often say that this is animal-friendly liver, it often turns out that these animals are being coerced. I do not know if this is the case with the pure liver of Spa. I have the idea that they are trying to radiate luxury through these types of products. The vegetarian pizza was very tasty at the brasserie, good thin bottom. Staff was friendly.
The Spa is amazing, especially once you have seen the outdoor area and saunas. There is a lot to explore, its clean, beautiful and the massage therapists are the best I have been to. Also, except for sunday afternoon the spa was never too full, which was additionally relaxing. Rooms are small but clean, well designed and the bed is very comfy.
Negative: Parking costs 20 Euro a day, which is outreagous, especially because there is no alternative. That makes the price way more expensive. They dont tell you about the parking costs till you get there. The Breakfast is okay, but not the best especially given the price. But there is no alternative in the hotel. In general: Everything you buy is pricey, but the food in the spa restaurant is very very tasty, so that makes up for it.
Very nice spa. Excellent kitchen. And if you order hot milk with your Earl Grey tea, that's absolutely not a problem. Very nice massage, also.
Good facilities and nice location. Hygiene just sufficient. Hospitality, however, below par; little choice, poor service and yet very pricey (also for a spa).
We were given a gift card from my sister who lives in Amsterdam, to enjoy the spa on our visit from Australia. Boy, were we disappointed... despite not even paying for it ourselves! The whole place was totally confusing with the staff at the front giving awful and limited guidance. Word to the wise - locker rooms are not what the rest of the world knows them to be... an entirely private area with lockers, toilets, showers and a place to sit and get ready. They are literally just lockers, and the only place to shower is in the spa with everyone else, which is terrible on the bathing suit days because you can t actually have a proper shower. The layout was so confusing that even though we were 20 minutes early for our massages, we ended up being 15 minutes late because of issues finding everything and working out how to use the lockers. That cut directly into our massages so we only got 35 and 45 minute massages instead of the 50 and 60 minute massages we paid for. What s more, we got zero sympathy from the front desk about the situation and even though we spent over 250, they refused any token goodwill gesture as we aren t Dutch and they knew we wouldn t be back. The entire spa s spaces are in Dutch so there s no way to know what you re doing when using the different saunas/pools. Super overpriced as well... what we hoped was going to be a special, relaxing, exclusive getaway was a stressful, overcrowded experience with bad service that left us feeling totally taken advantage of. Don t waste your money here!!!
+ Veel goede faciliteiten
+ Kleedgelegenheid
+ Opgietingen (behalve die vreselijke gong)
+ Ruime tuin
- Restaurant wachttijd broodje 45 min
- Glas wijn erg duur
- Toilet niet fris
- Buiten rioollucht
The facilities were ok - few Jacuzzis in and out, lovely saunas and other warm rooms. Very clean and comfortable, the pool had an inside and an outside area too. We were charged 8.50 each for towels and not notified about the price before we entered(the staff insisted that we pay after we enjoy the spa). All of this was ok and even though we are used to be provided with complementary towels we didn't mind as much as there was a discount- 2 for 1 entry, so it was about 17.50 each, for 2 people + towels and flip flops we paid 65 overall.
Now the reason why I gave it 3 starts only. For the luxury place they claim to be, they failed to provide such a basic thing as drinking water near the sauna areas. The only way to stay hydrated is to bring your own water ( not notified beforehand for this option) or pay for a dressing gown, which gives you an access to the restaurant where you can ask for water.
So my advice is - bring your flip flops, towels, water and dressing gowns and you will have an amazing experience!!!
If at 5 past 9 we were not allowed in for an hour Spa late .... Reception -1
It's a shame you can't give half a star.
I have been there 2 times now and both times it was just nothing.
The hot baths are always full / occupied. Very small chance that you can sit comfortably in this. Outside, a sauna has been converted into a storage shed, one less sauna, while they are already so minimal.
The pinnacle was tourists who lie in the sauna without a towel. Then you report this and you get the answer that I have to address the people about this ..... Isn't that the staff?
And then the menu. A simple eatery menu, nothing wrong with that, but the prices. Everything around 20, even the chicken satay !!!
No, this is not a sauna / thermal bath as it should be. Fortunately, there is plenty of choice in the Netherlands. Then drive a little further, but then enjoy a nice, clean, spacious complex with friendly staff with more friendly prices in the catering industry.
Amazing spa. Lovely pool. Everything about this place is great
Evening enjoyed the sauna. The Finnish sauna is especially recommended if the Wapper lady is there. Well done. Furthermore, nothing to criticize.
Nice saunas and location. Unfortunately the staff in both catering establishments is unfriendly ..
Beautiful wellness and everything nice and clean! Not all staff members were equally friendly.
Great sauna especially if you can still work out in the area outside ...
Spent the day in the spa. All the staff were very friendly, the place was spotless and the atmosphere was very relaxed.
Sauna is wonderful here! and very nice and neat inside. The food is also very tasty and you can do everything else here! From massage to infusions! love to come there. You can even spend the night here.
You are well spoiled, everyone is friendly and helpful, food is tasty too!
Poor location outside of the city poor food mostly rabbit food and breakfast very poor and very limited selection spa was unisex naked bathing pool cold changing rooms were unisex so if your shy or self consiouse its not good ,staff had bad attitudes not very friendly f helpful entrance to the spa was up stairs with no lift for disabled guests
General facility's were below what you would expect in Amsterdam
Wonderful location, nicely built spa and wellness amenities, nice view!
Gym is very tidy and complete. Great sauna visit after a good workout
Sincerely never had such a bad experience. The food in the restaurant was very bad. The spa was really busy! The rest was hard to find and will certainly never come again !!!
I really enjoyed my stay and their was great service
Great Spa !! After a busy day in Amsterdam you can really relax here, often with great promotions so that you can have a wonderful day / evening for not too much money.
nice sauna with bbq in the summer very tasty, always a nice day out.
They were rebuilding outside facilities, so we only tried the finnish sauna, colortherapy sauna and the pool. We're used to Elysium with 22 sauna's, so this was too small feeling more like a funeral place.
Fantastic spa (didn't stay overnight). Nude most days, but great facilities and services. Visit when the weather is nice - half is outside!
The hotel is fine. Well-equipped rooms. Breakfast is disappointing. Lots of calorie and sugar-rich products. No fresh orange juice. Bad coffee.
The spa is fine. Large choice of several saunas. Beautiful sunbathing area. The restaurant offers healthy products at a reasonable price. Better have a smoothie there for breakfast. Or a sandwich.
I liked it very much, but I found it very uncomfortable that there are people with sunglasses looking around. And shame about the noisy ladies who were clearly present. I really liked the food: zucchini soup as a starter, sea bass as a main course and 3 flavors of ice cream for dessert.
Good service as always. Had the trip to the Spa for my birthday, and we enjoyed the facilities. It is just a shame that we were unable to reserve a massage the day before. For the rest it was absolutely top!
Amazing stylish facilities but avoid on swimsuit days as it attracts a diverse crowd not respectful of the rules completely ruining the atmosphere. Loud people in the saunas, people jumping in the pool, screaming for no reason... Something should be done about that otherwise that place will not be worth the price anymore
