very ugly and unpleasant experience. I got into the sauna in the day where it's supposed to be naked. I didn't realize that, and I might have thousands reasons not to take off my knickers but still to enjoy being there. It's just unhygenic - to sit with your naked buttocks and genitals on the place where other people sit. You can catch a SOA or just feel dirty. So a service woman came to me and started shouting "take your underwear off". And even after I did it, she kept running after me and shouting "Doe maar normaal!" (Dutch, untranslatable. "Be normal"). It felt like an underwear gestapo. Very ugly and unpleasant, especially in a place where you supposed to relax and pay a lot for it. So they can't hide their nastiness behind the flowers, candles and buddhas. Other side of the freedoms gained by this country. Pretty disgusting.

This sauna is so enjoy omg. Enjoy the nice outdoor swimming pools in the summer and the indoor spaces in the winter. All possibilities and very nice location. A bit expensive for a day of activity

Nice wellness center with enough space for relaxation and an excellent restaurant

It's a great place to relax, the facilities are good. I loved it etc. The staff didn't have welcoming faces and some didn't know to communicate. The ones that work in the kitchen are not so clean. Since it's an open kitchen I could see how their hands weren't being washed and how they would touch other things and then the food. The food is nice but not the best so after all of these it shouldn't be this expensive. They really have high prices on food or on things you wanna rent and the massage... For the rest I advice everyone to go to this place

The spa is nice and clean. But the Staff is absolutely not welcoming, been there times and it official. At first time thought was just bad luck.
It looks like employes hate their jobs and especially people.

Nice and modern but very poor acoustics so you won't relax

Simply a great spa. Wonderful & calm atmosphere, absolutely clean, friendly staff, and plenty of different kinds of pools and saunas. Entrance and on-location food & drinks are not exactly cheap, but well worth the price. Also, they recently introduced lower entrance prices on weekdays, so if you're free to go then, you'll get in for a very reasonable price (~22 Euro for the entire day currently).

Wonderful spa, beware with admission fee, there are often special promotions, can save a lot of money ....

just a pity that the scrubziut is only outside .. and not inside at the showers

No tea coffee maker in the room. A big improvement area in my view. Unless its the way the business is done around there.

My review is for the gym only; I haven't yet used the spa facilities. This is one of the best gyms in Amsterdam. Its very well equipped, clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. Multiple squat racks, sufficient dumbells, cables, machines, the list goes on. As a female, I was so tired of being harassed at gyms and I have absolutely no problem here. Its a bit more expensive but you get what you pay for!

Pros: Well maintained, nice colors, almost all facilities are present.
Cons: No scrub salt at the showers, dinner buffet tastes exactly like a bad Chinese restaurant (at 25 pp), temperature in all saunas and baths a bit too low (employees indicated that "it is the same temperature all year round", there you buy nothing for when you are in such a bath), too expensive drinks

So I will skip this sauna from now on.

The Dutch partake in a sauna day, or spa day on a regular basis, sometimes once a week even.
I always take in at least one sauna day when I visit and have visited many different ones.
This one is highly modern in its design which actually gives it a "cold" appearance with little or no warm atmosphere.
The waitstaff in the bar/restaurant was actually very inattentive and slightly rude when we asked for service.
Needless to say, we won't be back, we come for relaxation not for aggravation.

Unfortunately, there is also a swimwear day on Wednesdays during the summer. Nice for the large Holiday Auction public but not for the real sauna people.
Hygiene and service have reached the lowest point.

Had a very relaxing afternoon and evening. Super friendly staff. It was busy but not too busy. Very cool decor. Big outdoor space as well. I recommend this place.

There are various rooms to keep active. Indoor as outdoor.
One of the most popular spa's is opgieten. Something you need to experience at least one.

We stayed at the spa with an evening entrance, it was a very positive experience. The space is very large, the staff friendly (they made sure we knew it was a "naked spa"). A definitely recommended and relaxing experience.

Great sports opportunity with a super cool new part upstairs in the fitness! Afterwards nice in the Spa to see the whole of Amsterdam ... Nice awkward ;-)

Wellness well cared for, somewhat small. Food in restaurant somewhat limited but of good quality

E-tickets purchased online for the entrance but the site for the reservation does not work. Called more than 15 times but were not answered after the selection menu. No service online and also not by telephone, hence 1 star for Spa Zuiver

Great spa where a superb staff do an amazing job in welcoming its (always very friendly) guests. The inside facilities are many and even though it can sometimes get busy, one never gets that overcrowded feeling that some other spa have. The food in the restaurant is worth all the money and the upstair bar-chill area is perfect for a coffee or for a quick nap between baths. I had an hammam treatment which was delightful. The outside is in my opinion the best part of the Spa, especially when it's winter and the contrast between cold and hot becomes more intense. Totally recommended

About Spa: Overpriced in general, massage is not good (specialists are not qualified - waste of money) spa area is big and quite cozy but crowded ( it s not quiet at all and atmosphere reminds of an aqua park or public pool)
There was a feeling that personal is not motivated to provide a service.

If you get a discount for the entrance and have your own bath set - it s worth to visit, cause they charge there even for the air

The spa is nice and clean. But they do not go for the extra mile, if its about massage, information, English guidance.

Staff is absolutely not welcoming. Front desk ladies do not know how to smile, not attentive, slightly snobby, just awkward a bit . (The intention maybe high-end and professional communication, but it requires you to talk, provide information, give longer answers than 3 words. If you even see who do you talk to, it's a plus.)
It looks like waiters hate their jobs and especially people. I had the misfortune to talk 3 of them.

To sum up, the idea and facility is nice, but I do not like to feel my presence bothers the staff or my polite request for an orange juice causes pain to someone.
Nice, communicative people. That is all this place misses.

Great staffs - didn t use the full facility available due to being ill which the staff were in hand to help. Clean, lockers provided.
There is also a bar and a restaurant.

Really great spa place, easy to spend the whole day there. One of the best I have visited in Holland. For those who dont like the naked thing then a Tuesday is probably the best day for you to visit.

On the day we visited the spa there were some noisy youngsters who apparently found the sauna very exciting. I don't know if it was an incident or if such groups come here more often. The facilities were excellent and well cared for, but these fellow visitors were very disturbing.

Well not too large wellness at the Amsterdam forest. The saunas are great as well as the infusion rituals and sound sauna. Too bad parking is quite pricey

It is very noisy, the machines make a lot of noise in the public areas. In the relaxation area upstairs it was very cold and very noisy from the pool below with lots of splashing water. Outside it was nice and quiet from the wind in the sun and you can hear the birds singing. The various saunas were not up to temperature (with ease they could spend half an hour without sweating away). The food was fine but lacking in taste. Also in the restaurant it was very noisy due to the high space and little decoration. Next time we will seek out a more intimate sauna. Very pricey for the quality. This was a one-time visit.

Sportcafe had shaky benches. Friendly service and nice view of the tennis court. Food that was served was not very hot anymore unfortunately. No use of other facilities.

Spacious spa with a nice variety of pools, saunas, jacuzzis and a big swimming pool. Wonderful restaurant - I've loved every meal and drink I've had there. Could be a bit crowded and only Tuesday/Thursday are swimsuit days. Definitely worth the price and a person should spend a whole day there.

Refined spa hotel. Spacious junior suite. The best part is the access to the spa and the treatments at the institute. Catering possible at the spa.
The staff is very caring.
I would have no hesitation in booking again!

Had a great day at Spa Zuiver. Very nice people in the ministry, are really always there for you. The infusion with essential oils was very well taken care of by Karen, the sauna mistress. Wonderful choice of music and smells, together with her graceful way of pouring up made this day something that I can live on for a long time. I will be back soon!

Nice sauna, large but very busy. Poor parking. No supervision when parking. Bad signage. Unfortunately. Expensive, but enough promotions to still come in cheaply. Horeca very pricey. Many different saunas. Nice.

Awesome! The wellness complex is truly breathtaking. The hotel room perfect. Wonderful beds, a rain shower that can go harder than you need, atmosphere, space and quiet. The staff is very very nice and helpful. I will certainly come here often!

Evening spa done which did not please. It was very busy. Overflowing saunas, waiting in line for showers. The dressing room was not very clean and the showers either. We reported it but got a response "Oh then you were definitely not in the right flow". For dessert we received a bill for the parking costs. Next time to another sauna.

First of all, the facilities are beautiful. Spacious and all very new. However, the service was lacking. We tried having a snack in the restaurant but our server would not come to our table. We made eye contact multiple times, I tried gesturing, she served the tables around us, cleaned the tables around us, but would not acknowledge us. Definitely ruined our evening so we left after only an hour.

Place to be. Great facility. La! LA! Land of variety of naked bodies. Just feed your eyes endlessly while you enjoy the sauna.

We come here more often and are always very satisfied.

Once when we were here, the weather suddenly changed from a warm summer day to thunder and rain with pipe steals.
This was picked up super well by the staff! The outdoor baths were closed (for as long as needed) but the atmosphere was lacking. In the first instance, umbrellas were handed out, but when the storm came it was clearly told not to use them. Everywhere (including the saunas at the back), staff were ready to assist you. And in the restaurant it only got better.

-Afguss are only every 2 hours and it takes long time preparation

-No English instruction inside

Sudden price increase via onefit. Staff in restaurant very star.

I will skip this sauna in the near future. Especially because there are so many better and nicer saunas. A.o. because three of the nicest parts fail. But that is not everything.
1 / the (main) infusion sauna works at half power, so you only notice it close to the fire
2 / take into account serious noise nuisance with a "Greek" infusion
3 / the salt room (my favorite) is out of order and will be closed
4 / the fireplace of the fireplace sauna was dying, because it was not replenished in time
5 / no saunas above 80 degrees and the showers are set to a standard of lukewarm :-(
6 / if you need urgent assistance, the sauna hostess cannot be reached in any fields or roads, while the staff did not understand the urgency or were able to communicate it
7 / Two men's toilets smelled strongly of urine, even the overly scented pee mat could not prevent this
8 / The food was tasty, but the portions half what we expected for the price
9 / the stairs around the pool are so dangerously slippery that it is better to go into the water with slippers (with point 7 I conclude that cleaning is poor)
10 / the electronic system to open your locker is a lot of problems
11 / The closure is officially at 11 pm, but from 10.30 pm you will be sarcastically knocked out
12 / after sharing our feedback with care and kindness, we still get the whole bill (> 100) presented in an ice-cold way, as if they didn't care
13 / enough customers apparently, because it is indeed (still) very busy; not a place for relaxation, which I eventually came for
14 / after emailing this, we could eventually make another reservation; i assume free

We have been there several times and on normal days the sauna is fine. Now we have been on BATHWEAR day and this was really awful. Hey most of the visitors were 16 or maybe younger! In addition to making a lot of noise, it seemed like a swingers club for teenagers. There was even security in the dressing room. When we said something about it, the answer was "Yes we know" in short we never go on swimwear day again

been several times.yet all times faced with eoa disappointment.This was especially my last visit.My motives, 1.spa is pure cutting back and you notice that no more bath salts, water of all baths so much too cold (I think that they have set the baths 3 degrees lower to save energy. this made swimming outside not comfortable, jacuzzi and aroma baths not nice and warm (very disappointing). 2. staff in the sauna itself unfriendly. 3. restaurants too expensive! (sandwich hamburger 17.50 !!!!! WTF?) you do not pay this for room service in a 5 star hotel.4.eea gradually requires some maintenance and now does not look nice and fresh.
1 positive thing ...... the sauna is nicely shaped, however, after being disappointed several times at spa purely for us the last time completely because outside of a possibly difficult to find offer to sauna is too expensive.

This spa feels like a roman bathhouse. Going down the stairs into it's large in- outdoor pool overlooking the great garden, gives you a overwhelming feeling. In totale 13000m2 big spa with all its faciliteit gives you a relaxed feeling even if it's busy. Is it all positieve? .......no. The downside is they cutted down on staf so there is no controle over the quests how don't now the how to use a sauna.The don't shower before taking a bath and towls are not jused proberly in the cabines. Even people wash there hair on places it's not allowd leaving hairs and there is no one to clean it. This is realy worse on the so called "Swimwear" days on this moment they extended it from tuesday till thusday.. In this 3 day's the so relaxing spa turns into a noisy swimingpool. I would not recommend these day's. keeping that in mind, the other day's are on it's beauty in the morning. It feels like your private bathroom, very luxurieus.

I would really recommend this Spa Hotel whilst in Amsterdam, the staff are lovely, superb spa and fitness facilities, great restaurant and bar, bedrooms are very clean and tidy, comfortable beds and pillows.

I have my fitness plan here. Age of average visitor is high but otherwise a great gym; spa facilities are nice. Too bad of an incident where the staff lost my property and refused to take responsibility.

The water in the pool and in the hot tubs was very lukewarm. Furthermore, the food was quite expensive and there was a big price difference between a sandwich and a salad with both about the same. Furthermore, it was difficult to relax. The restroom is too open and too noisy, with people walking past you all the time.

Arrogant staff at the front desk who treat you according to their perception of what your net worth is. You go there with a good attitude and these people just ruin your day. Plus their food is bad and unhealthy.
