During the change we were filmed by a creep that walked through the changing rooms. The man had a bag with a camera in it and followed the images on his phone. Are you finally in the sauna to relax you will be decorated within a few minutes. Last time I have been here.

Relax, super clean and beautiful. But in my opinion, consumptions are far too expensive, the. price for one hamburger with fries.is 18 euros and a few slices of bread with tapenade 7 euros.

Fantastic. What a great way to spend a few hours doing nothing but relaxing. By far one of the cleanest and well equipped spas I have ever had the pleasure to visit. The next time we are in Amsterdam this will be top of the to do list.

Everything was great, until one of the staff, the one who walked around in the field, spitted on me and my friend in the lobby! It was a very obvious insult. I still feel deeply shocked and outrageous that we were treated this way in Zuiver.

It is unbelievable that you let people like him work here. SHAME.

Just help you to narrow it down: He worked on 28th November, 2019 till 23:00. If you pull up the cctv in the front desk, you can see his amazing spitting around 23:15. Way to go!

Modern rooms. Nice big bathroom and shower. Breakfast is ok, slightly pricy.. Clean. Good service. One of the biggest spas I ever have been to, included in the staying. It will be hard to try finding another as good hotel in Amsterdam for my next trip.

Via Vakantieveilingen.nl I arranged a wonderful day at Spa Zuiver in Amsterdam with my girlfriend. Good things: the food is very good, very pricey, but you do get more than enough. Quality and quantity in terms of food are perfectly in proportion. Sandwiches are richly filled, good wine, good full glasses, that sort of thing, you are served like a king.
There is a very wide range of saunas! Very surprising and fun to try everything out. Especially when the weather is nice, you can enjoy the sun while lying in the pool or in one of the wonderful hot tubs.

Less good things: not everything is so 'pure', for example, we saw (a little, but still) mold on the edge of the hot tub, a green edge on the shower head, which clearly indicates deposits and poor maintenance.
We noticed that these are relatively easy places to quickly clean, which means that this can be a bit of negligence on the part of the cleaning team!

In general, therefore, certainly a sufficient, a wonderful day out is an absolute must to do this here. However, a little less cuts need to be made in terms of maintenance.

Wonderful large spa with different saunas and a wonderful outdoor swimming pool. Also lots of sun beds and a large outdoor hot tub. Food is fine and the service friendly. Really an absolute must.

In the past a nice sauna, but (apparently) focuses less and less on real sauna lovers. To start with: meanwhile * three "swimwear days a week - how do you make it up! But you can still avoid that. The real dealbreaker for me is that the only real sauna - the Finnish sauna in the inner part - has been adjusted. Was 90 degrees and dry, as it should be, is now 80 degrees with high humidity, not pleasant! Outside is also a Finnish sauna, but that is at 85 degrees and moreover there are constantly public infusions, so you do not sit comfortably. The only really good sauna that was available has now disappeared Checked in at reception: there were too many complaints about the hot Finnish sauna, and although the sauna master himself thought he was set correctly, he nevertheless adjusted the settings. true enthusiasts away - I will not be back, but now hope for them that the chain of swimwear days' public (read reviews about the horror of the swimwear days elsewhere) will continue to generate enough revenue Is there anything good to report? my experience is that the staff are friendly (unlike what i read in many reviews). But I also come, and in the first place, for a good, real Finnish sauna!

We have now been 3x in Spa Zuiver and the experience is actually getting less and less. Not suitable as a true wellness in my opinion. It is simply a sauna for the masses, especially because of the many offers.

We have already complained about the quality of the food. Now the last time some disappointments. The bar in the relaxation area is closed on Saturday evenings. According to staff probably because it is not busy. There is, however, 2 people behind a computer doing administration.

When we walked into the 'restaurant' and asked if we could take beer and snacks upstairs, we were told a cold no and that we had to find a place downstairs. So that was sitting outside as the restaurant was full. It was on the edge in terms of temperature, so not such a pleasant request. We would have liked to lie in the relaxation room for a while.

I want to warn everyone else if you sit in one of the hot tubs. Where the water outlet is, steel nuts protrude from the wall (under water). When you slide your buttocks back just a little too hard, you unceremoniously hit a nut with your pelvis and have been bothered by it for a while. So sit comfortably.

Nice spa. Lovely swimming pool and hot tubs. The food was nice but very little choice. The beds were quickly filled up and also lay among the eating people. A bit strange place, such a place must be quiet and there it was quite busy with a lot of noise. The infusions were really great. Nice man and cozy and relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended, but only on weekdays.

Nice sauna

Nice sauna
What bothers me is that it is often very noisy in the saunas.
The prices in the restaurant are also too high.

Great wellness area! We particularly liked the fact that you didn't have to be naked (at least on selected days) but were allowed to wear swimwear and that the spa was open until late in the evening. Pure relaxation. The hotel itself is nothing special. Simple room, by no means a luxury hotel (not even a free bottle of water, cheap toilet paper, etc.). We didn't book breakfast as it would have cost another 60 extra (for 2 people) at a price of 300 for a twin room for two nights. We found something bold.
Dad Hotel is in a beautiful location with lots of nature and tranquility all around, but you have to walk to the tram stop about 1 km

Gym is good with lot of facilities and classes. Staff very friendly. Sometimes long queue at reception. Spa is big. Very nice to stay outside on a sunny day. Restaurant is pricy and mediocre like always in these places. Try on stadionplein nearby.

My favourite place to spend time with friends or on my own to recharge. Luxurious, friendly, clean, modern and spacious. They have healthy options for food. The staff is very professional and welcoming.

Sauna itself nice. Had a wonderful day, we thought we had a nice lunch. I ordered the chicken satay was tough and chewy and tasted like the satay sauce. Really a waste of money and certain catering staff not particularly friendly! Unfortunately. The sauna itself cannot be faulted.

Great spa, nice for a day at the sauna. 2 negatives:
- judgy waiter; we were not allowed to order loose fries and he looks at you as if you are not wearing any clothes.
- you are not allowed to sit in the jacuzzi with umbrellas. Really stupid. Became completely wet.

Nice spa! You don't have to reserve a spot online but you can.

Tuesday is the day that swimwear is allowed, all other days are naked days. :)

Also, check out if there are any promotions while you are there. We saved 60+, as we saw a promotion for 4 people.

Be aware that bathrobe, slippers and a towel.are required.

about the SPA:

about the SPA:
despite it looks kind of neat and clean it is one of the worse spas I've ever been in. bad and cheap built, to look modern and fancy. too many electronic doors, like you are entering a metro station and gives a feeling of being in an institution or a prison.
saunas too far from each other makes you unable to switch in between without cooling down. massage staff not available at the spot, you have to book it in advance, as anything else. strange I could order a drink at the bar without booking 'in advance' but beware of the prices at the bar; they bite.
too many nonsense rules, like: you can not enter the bar area without flipflops..??? maybe even not in swimwear. no good control of the heat in the sauna; some get to hot.
to give a beter picture, it is like a kitchen with wrong order of machines and areas with quite some options unavailable or not possible to turn on and quite some kitchen tools missing.
prices TOO HIGH.
nice entrance lobby but to much walking and stairs to the dressing rooms and then to the spa area.

Have been 3 times and really enjoy coming here to relax. Pleasant environment and nice selections. I have booked a massage once and it was just okay. I know it s called spa, but it really is a wellness center and if you keep that in mind it will help to manage your expectations.

By that I mean it s a large selection of steam rooms and saunas but there are no extra amenities you would affiliate with a spa. There are no towels, robes, slippers, accessible water, lotion, or any private showers. They have one generic shampoo at a group shower. There are also group lockers (which are separated by male/ female). so it s a relaxing time in a nice space but it s not super luxurious and front desk staff are definitely not trained hospitality workers or anything.

Really enjoy their small daily experiences, which are free and a apart of their schedule. They have this great guy who does these finish sauna moments and for 20 minutes you cram into the sauna with a group of people (not as bad as that sounds) and they add these scents and do these towel movements to move the air through the room. It s nice.

One down side was someone must have accidentally taken my (rented) robe, with my glasses inside and a personal towel. While the inside staff were quick to lend me another one when I went to leave and pay and no one had turned in my glasses the front desk didn t apologize for the inconvenience and emotionlessly told me to email tomorrow to see if it was turned in. Then wanted to charge me the full amount. I then mentioned that it may be nice to deduct the robe cost, since we could now be incur the cost of buying new glasses, which she did eventually do, but I mean ofc that is awkward to make a customer ask.

Overall, I would recommend, just don t go in expecting a international fancy spa and you ll be good.

At my most recent visit it was not too busy. Especially the outside saunas and terrace wonderfully relaxing. What I regret is that the shower gel has changed. First delicious shower gel, which gave you beautiful shiny skin and hair. Now shower gel smelling of pine, dry skin and hair dry and in the burdock. Does not give a luxurious feeling, therefore 1 star less.

The spa is rather small and every time I was there it was overcrowded. You should keep in mind they will try to charge you lots of extras. It feel like they really put in a lot of time thinking how can they drag more money out of you and make you pay more for services that you normally get for free in other spa's. You don't even get free water after being in the sauna which should be a must.

Was nice and relaxed. Beautiful location . The only downsides I have are; poor hygiene of the toilets. These were downright dirty. It doesn't matter where you went to the toilet. And lotuses that didn't start their infusions on time. And people who did not comply with the sauna rules and lotuses who said nothing about this.

It is enjoying and relaxing every time. Mainly use the saunas and not the catering facilities. In my opinion, the staff may be a bit more adequate if a group disrupts the peace or someone with a telephone is busy taking photos.
