Far too expensive for what you don't get, for 2 euros more you are at Thermen Soesterberg, 2x as big, many more infusions and heated pools, normally we go to Soesterberg and can spend a full day here with the great diversity of saunas, for my feeling there were only 3 here, the Finnish sauna, steam sauna and an infrared sauna. Parking is very expensive in the parking lot of the sauna itself, this is easy to overcome by parking in the parking lot of Amsterdamse bos, still not free as with the sauna mentioned above but cheaper with a maximum of 8.40. As said before, the whirlpools were full all the time and the large ones on the outside area only worked for half. Floors are extremely dangerous, there is no wet / dry machine here and the tiles are not provided with an anti-slip layer, even with slippers you go on a plate. The service is downright bad, after receiving the starter, the cutlery still had to be arranged and after clearing the main course, it was not asked if we wanted to use a dessert or a cup of coffee, we therefore waited 10 minutes for someone picked up the glass of wine before we got the chance to ask for the dessert menu. The rest of the time, the staff just stood and watched each other with disinterest. The only positive thing I could find is that after an infusion, slices of orange and orange juice and apple juice were served (1 piece each, imagine ....)

All well and good this was my first and last visit to this sauna

I canceled my membership after 22 years. I can imagine myself
That the virus has cut a hole in the budget. I would have hoped for a more lenient attitude.
When it went bad for a while with spa cleaner you were very happy with the old members
Hour sauna no longer possible after exercise.
It came across as cold and cool after being a loyal member for so many years.
Too bad always enjoyed sports and used sauna.

Had a wonderful day at the sauna. It looks nice and sleek. Nicely cared for. Nice rituals where you can do to me. Only downside I think is the food. There is little choice and it is very pricey. Furthermore, really good.

Super neat Spa with super friendly people at the entrance desk as well as the people who take care of the service in the Spa itself, spacious changing rooms, good lockers, good food with fast and good service, definitely worth a visit both the inside and the outside are super clean , we come back 5 hours is not enough to do everything to perfection

Yesterday I got a night with relaxation massage as a gift. Initially lost and therefore abandoned. Tiara at the front desk was very friendly and convinced my expectations by making sure that I could get my treatment at a later time. Really great.
The masseuse Miranda was very friendly and felt homely and familiar. Top experience all in all.

Was always great but nowadays no less than 2 (!) Swimwear days a week. Far too busy in the winter, when you can't lie outside and everyone is constantly drifting. Insist on sauna and hot tub, no rest bed free, infusions completely but not started ... Parking expensive and there are often (as I was confirmed by the reception) problems with the locker system. Restaurant excellent; busy but smooth, professional service and tasty dishes.

The sauna is really too busy for us. Not really relaxed therefore. Restaurant is too small for t number of visitors, so nothing relaxed. They compensate for this inconvenience by reserving a table in time. This does not mean that I find this much better in other saunas.

A wonderful spa. At least 5 saunas and many jacuzzis and 2 steam baths. Really pretty and nice aromatherapy fragrances everywhere. I want to go back on a naked day! 15 each is not too much to ask either.

Recently visited the spa wellness. The spa itself is very richly equipped with an extensive choice of saunas and baths. Did not go to the restaurant myself. A complete day enjoyed the peace that the spa has to offer. However, the receptionist who helped us on arrival was not too friendly. She looked bored and seemed lax. Furthermore, a great experience.

The sauna is beautiful. It has plenty of saunas, pools and steam cabins. The vibe is relax and the location is perfect. Only downside is the lack of magazines. You have to bring them your self. Also you need to reserve to eat in the restaurant, otherwise you need to eat in the lounge area.

'Ve been there 2x and both times it was good. Sometimes too busy, you can not in the Jacuzzi or you have to sit close together in the sauna. But a big plus is the young audience. I find pieces better than the old ones in many different saunas.

The best spa I've been too! (and I've been to many across Austria and Germany) There is a really good range of saunas and steam rooms to choose from. The outdoor area is the best, especially the Japanese Sauna. The pool outdoors is great too and I went in the evening it was all lit up and the surrounding forest is wonderful. Wish we had more places like this back in the UK, but we are too terrified of nudity!

The rooms are big indeed but they were quite dusty. The SPA is pretty good and we enjoyed that a lot. But it would be nice to add English guidance and the skeaprs inside the sauna we were very scared when the light went off, there was total darkkess, turns out the spa was closing up.

Nice place and we had a good time until the manager Talitha managed to ruin our weekend over bogus 6 euro charge that she rudely insisted we pay after lying to us. That s after we spent nearly 500 euros on one night. Will certainly be taking this up with their management and Amsterdam hospitality board. I just hope she does not ruin another guests experience as she did ours. Shame. Great and friendly staff otherwise, but unlikely to stay again because of Talitha

It's a huge complex with all different type of saunas and it's usually very crowded on the 2 no-naked days of the week. It's very professional and very impersonal. I took my own bath robe and it was stolen twice. The first time I could leave a note at the reception and they found it later. The second time they handed over an email adress on a card to report the case. I visited this place several times and couldn't decide whether I like the place or not. After this incident I don't feel like going again and stopped recommending to people. The only thing which is really cool that it's in the middle of the forest though easy to reach from the city. But it's without any real character. I have to admit though that if it's about spa's I have high cultural standards. But if you don't have anything better to do once maybe worth to visit. Don't bring anything what can be stolen.

The saunas are not that special, but enough for a day out. Unfortunately the package with the evening buffet is really bad. Canned meatballs, fries, etc. If you still want to eat here, order a la carte.

This place is a boutique spa with several saunas and stream rooms. The place is nice and clean and the staff are really good. The main area is split on three levels. The top level is the change rooms, the middle level is the massage and treatment room. And the ground level is the spa. The have a pool that starts in the building and continues on outside. There is a resturant (expensive) in the ground floor and a buffet on the 1st level only reachable via the restaurant. There is a hemam section as well. Inside there is 2 saunas and a stream room. Outside there is two hot tubs, and a few more saunas as well.

It's a nice place to relax and enjoy, but seems to be busy in the evenings.

After an horrible day where the people working inside weren't even taking the trash from the ground and trying to keep the place clean , and nobody was telling to the people to be in silence , we have been told that was the fault of being in bathing suit day and the 'FOLK" was inside those days , we kept on replying why nobody inside was doing anything to keep the place in order and silence but nobody did anything. Horrible persons and horrible attitudes i cant express the disgust enough for the people working there

I went to Zuiver several times over the last year ...

I went to Zuiver several times over the last year and was happy to receive a birthday offer from them in my inbox, inviting me to visit the spa for free. They knew my birthday date because I provided it with the initial registration. When I followed the link in the email, I arrived at their booking system, which allowed me to select a date when I was available. I then received an email confirmation, which clearly states that the price for the booking would be 0,00 .

When I showed up on the date of the booking, I was informed that I couldn t use the free entry because it was a week before my birthday and the offer was only valid on the actual day of the birthday. That would be fair enough, but there seems to be a problem with the booking system, since it allows you to make a booking and then sends you a confirmation clearly stating the price as 0,00 .

While I accepted the fact that I could not use the free entry offer on that day, I was very disappointed by the attitudes of the two people I spoke to at the reception (one was apparently the manager), because they absolutely refused to acknowledge that there was a problem with their booking system, or to consider the possibility that they could try in future to provide more clear information to their guests.
The confirmation email I received contains a lot of detailed information, in English, about the spa s age restrictions, swimwear days, opening hours, cancellation policies, etc, but it says nothing about the birthday offer limitations.

The people at the front desk just kept saying that it would be impossible for them to allow people to use the birthday offer on a day before the actual birthday, because then the spa would be filled with too many people. First of all, it is actually not uncommon for businesses to give one-off birthday vouchers which people can use throughout the month of their birthday, or indeed at another time. Secondly, if you do not want to offer such a thing, then don t send people email invitations and confirmations which are clearly misleading!

Anyway, I accepted, and ended up paying full price for entry to the spa anyway, since I had put the day aside and travelled all the way there with my towels etc.

Then I planned to come back on my actual birthday day, and actually use the voucher, in the following week. Once again, I followed the link that was provided, and I completed the steps to make the booking. One of the steps in the booking process allows you to also book for a friend, free of charge. I found a friend who would be free to join me on my birthday, and I completed the booking. Once again, I received an email confirmation, which said that the cost for each entry would be 0,00 and the total due for two people would be 0,00 . Once again, the email contained no information about the specifics of the birthday offer that I had used to make the booking.

But when we arrived we were informed that the entry would not be free for my friend, she would have to pay full price. When I asked why there was the option to also make a reservation for a friend at the price of 0,00 , I was given a bizarre answer: that s only if you have a friend who has the same birthday as you. Whaaaaat? Do you know what the chances are that the friend who is available to join me at the spa on that particular day has the same birthday as me?

Once again, the Zuiver staff refused to acknowledge any responsibility. So we ended up paying *another* full price ticket, since my friend had come all the way to be there. And that s when I decided to never visit Zuiver again.

Beautiful sauna and environment. Catering only ensures that the sauna is on its way to faded glory. Staff upstairs is far from friendly and many of the seats are on their end. Ordering food and drinks is also a challenge. Very unfortunate!

The spa itself is very nice. There are different kinds of sauna. However, the lunch buffet is very bad. The food option is very limited. You can feel that they bought the ingredients from a very cheap supplier. And even the potato is terrible. And it costs 19.5 euro. I was very disappointed at the food.

A really nice spa complex, with pools, dry saunas, steam baths and massage. The indoor/outdoor pool is especially good in the winter. The staff are a bit impersonal and the restaurant more like a canteen. Not much info from reception so you'll need to work things out yourself or ask some of the other guests. We bought a package, which was good. But, be careful as they charge extra for all sorts of things - even whipped cream on a complimentary cake. Bring your own bathrobe, towel and flip flops. The hot stone massage and relaxation massage were both professional and carried out with warmth.

They sell vouchers to pull your leg to the spa on other websites then increase the figures when you make the reservation to visit, when I called them to inquire about that extra cost that I never agreed to the lady by the helpdesk says that I don't need to agree with them but they must be paid, and she made it clear that she would like to cancel my reservation rather than explaining or helping with anything, she even said that this money is mentioned in the general terms and conditions which honestly sounded like Facebook when they ask you to read their privacy policy!
Anyways be careful about your money when you wanna go there

As always, the visit to Spa Zuiver was excellent. The clean, inviting facilities combined with the professional and very friendly staff made this a perfect day to relax and re-energize. On things to improve: the well-priced food was a little dry. The lunch buffet was not available. The free scrub minerals and soaps have been replaced by cheap soap. On the other hand, though, the sauna sessions were wonderful and left nothing to be desired. And that's the most important part of the spa visit. Spending a day at Spa Zuiver is definitely recommended.

Spa Zuiver is a nice and fun sauna. If you are a sauna lover, you should definitely visit this one. Attended a few infusions and these were once again nice and uncomplicated. Just make it nice and hot and flutter with a damp towel. Not such a very dance ritual and difficult hassle.
Small downside, in my opinion, are the baths right in the beginning. Take up a mega space and only 6 can lie at a time. Constantly full is the result and they would better place 1 or 2 saunas there. But you always have something to complain about. For 18.50 I just had another wonderful day. If you normally pay, you have lost at least double the amount so keep putting things into perspective, would be my tip.
That is better in Elysium.

Do not go on swimwear days (Tuesdays and Thursdays) in the evening!

Half a year ago SpaZuiver was a great sauna, but the swimwear days are now hell. Moroccan youth who transform the sauna into a true spectacle (not all, but damn a lot). Shouting, running, cursing, big mouth, smoking inside, provoking a fight, bombing into the water. The newly hired bundle of muscles to guard order is alone at the indoor pool. Inside the saunas, peace is hard to find. I myself am young (26) but have never experienced such a swimming pool before. Every Tuesday and Thursday evening. A true cultural difference.

During bare-butt days, the pool turns back into a sauna. Nice infusions, excellent staff, pricey cafe but above all a nice sauna atmosphere.
