Very nice place, clean and well maintained. Only downside in the baths with right to whisper, it whispers loudly!

This is my definite go-to spa, never disappoints and their newly renovated entrance and their constant upgrades make it a beautiful experience every time.

Mixed experience ... there are just 3 showers and 2 bathrooms ...

Very nice experience. There are 6 different hot baths and several other facilities. You can even swim in the river!
Only thing, I would have liked that one offers spare towels near the changing rooms, because mine got very wet after 1 hour or 2 and I had to endure.

I used to love this place many years ago but over the years it has become too commercial and cleanliness has suffered although I must say I love the set up and being able to go directly in the river during the dead of winter.

Everything you need to relax is here. Fantastic scene. You get the cold lake and tons of differents tubs at different temperatures and enough space to have relax in your own bubble even if there alot of people.

Love love love! I ve been twice & have loved it every time. The first time the line was really long and there were a lottttt of people. It was a weekend evening and it was packed. My partner and I didn t mind it, we still enjoyed our massage and the facilities. Very clean, good service.

However, I went alone in the day and enjoyed it even more because it really was relaxing. Complete bliss! I can understand that people who want to just relax alone it can be annoying to have a lot of people around you talking, but there are quiet baths & baths where you can talk which I think is really good, to satisfy all types of clientele!

Well, but we are waiting for you with extras like paying for a padlock. Otherwise the landscape is sublime.

All massage therapists are great! Beautiful during the winter. Unfortunately it has become so popular it is overcrowded and there is a lack of space.

Not recommmend throughout winter. There are too many exterior pathways between like 4 or 5 buildings making it super inconvenient to trekk thru the cold while being wet the majority of the time. Also it seems like they dont set a cap for guests. Some saunas were way overcrowded :(

Very nice spa! Only negative point is the limited space in the cloakroom when there are a lot of people. The lockers are all glued on top of each other. The place is very clean. The treatments are very professional!

Very small. Didnt really liked it but it has one +: there a 2 hot water spas that you are aloud to talk which is nice if you are a small group.

A great place to relax. A real wood sauna over 90 degrees!

I have been to the Polar Bear several times and have always enjoyed this place. However, what lowers my rating today is that at the weekend the water was dirty, there were bubbles of foam of questionable texture in the hot baths. There were people who spoke very loud near the saunas and no one was there to advise them.

Very clean and very well disinfected by the staff !! Very warm welcome and good supervision of the staff towards the customers !!

People often talk to each other without whispering.
Food and drinks are hidden in the bags and everyone eats without the knowledge of the supervisors.
No respect for the instructions, the attendants are not vigilant enough or not enough numerous.

Good place, we did go for a 18h to 21h. They started to close everything at 20h30.... Disappointed

The location is nice, but there is many things that aren't though trough. First of all, the price does not include your bathrobe and towel, which almost all of the other spa does include it. They ask you to bring everything (flip-flops, towel, bathrobe, lock for the locker room..) and state that it's all mandatory equipment to enter the spa, if you need anything they rent/sell all of it. I realise I forgot my flip flops home and when I got there, they didn't had small or medium women flip-flops and told me to go Barefoot... In wintertime... Barely made 30meters so I came back to the reception and told them to give me the large ones, because I had no other choice. It's a bit dangerous also to be wearing oversize flip-flops whit wet feet on frozen surfaces, specially stairs, which they have a lot. The receptionist didn't even gave me a discount for the trouble they caused me.. Very bad service, served me with attitude. Not only the receptionnist, but security too. One of them came to us to tell us that the area we were was a silence area by telling us with sarcasm that "this isn't the beach club". They don't even have a proper restaurant, only an overpriced bistro that have almost no choice of meals.. The waitress took forever to come serve us, and there was only 2 other people eating.. She was busy chit-chating. With her colleague.. The locker room has a minimum nber of showers and I believe 2 or 3 toilets.. It was a Tuesday, can't imagine how it is on weekends.. I could go on, but I'll stop here. All this to say that it's the last time I'll go to that spa...if I could, I'd give this place 0 stars...

But I want you to know that if you are looking for a reasonably priced spa really in my opinion
A courteous service of employees
And what about the moving of the site the baths are just perfect depth I measure 6ft and also at the seat I am at the shoulders
The sauna bath with eucalyptus just a marvel and the dry bath just a point for relaxation politeness is appropriate in these places
Massage services are offered in a retreat place in fact above the steam bath and dry therefore absolute silence at least when I was there
What is fun you can take packages on arrival with massage and spa or otherwise there are very advantageous discounts that are offered at different times of the year
So to conclude my novel (sorry for the text but I kiff this place) even to love it I recommend it to my entourage and I never had a negative return
So grabbed you jersey, sandal, because bottles of water, gourd, bathrobe, towels and cadena are provided in the price by cadignoir and cadena a very minimal rent

I m quite ambivalent about this spa. We got a good massage. The facility is large with a good number of hot tubs and a good bistro, however, it s definitely not as relaxing as my other experiences in other spas. They let too many people in and silence is not appreciated at all. People talk loudly and no one s shushing them. Customer service could be improved too. Another big problem is that they only have three showers and two restrooms in men and women lockers area. You have to stand in a lineup!

I do not know if it is because of the break week, but I really did not have a good experience. I hardly explain the facilities, waiting 10 minutes to have a free locker, the place was clearly too busy, people do not respect the rules of silence, in short zero relaxation. I also find that the site is poorly thought. The cold is far from hot, far from the rest areas, it is difficult to make the water cycle. The place has a lot of potential ....

Pleasant places, beautiful view of the torrent. But lack of modernity and place of relaxation with varied themes, installations and decorations.

Dirty, loud place with disrespectful staff members. I went to Scandinavia spa before and I would rather to pay a lit bit more and get a great experience. Will never come back to Polar Bears Club

This place is anything but a relaxation place. It's a big spa lots of tubs and places to relax but they don't care how noise you are. People talking loudly in the steam, sauna rooms and tubs with phones. The couples message we got was good but will never go back due to the over crowding and no respect of simple spa Etiquettsy.
On the other hand the food was real good. Would recommend to stop by.

I went with my daughter today and customer service at the front desk a big ZERO. There was an employee on the phone, another is put in front of us on the computer and no hello, no reception. The super thermal experience by cons. And when we left, she was behind the counter and at the "thank you for coming or good day". We should work on customer service.

The place is not bad but not crazy either. There is the view on nature ... and on cars a little. The baths are good, the saunas very hot. The steam bath is really the quietest that I could do and it is really very pleasant. The bistro part is small. The finishes are not always there either. It is a nice spa for a few hours but not for a full day in my opinion.

Great experience if you want to get away from the city and disconnect. I had a swedish massage and then used the pools and saunas. The river water when I was there was bitter cold but the cold pools and hot pools are great for relaxing. The steam saunas is intense with the eucalyptus sent. I recommend going early because it starts to get crowded in the afternoon. We also had a snack at the bistro and it was surprisingly good. I had the salami sandwich and a coffee and had a bite of the chicken wrap. I preferred the salami sandwich.

Anything but relaxing in my opinion. People talk everywhere, the cloakroom spaces are much too small for the number of people so no room to change you feel stuck and pressed (2 toilets and few showers while there are 3 full parking spaces at the outside). Traffic everywhere, air of relaxation full and I already saw more comfort ... little indication for the baths and the airs of relaxation not easy to find where to go which is not relaxing unless advised. Also, child size towels very small and not very comfortable, when you pay I think it's the minimum to have a real towel ... POSITIVE POINTS: nice view on the river and clean site. I will not return there personally.

If I could give any star I went with my spouse over the past weekend very dissapointed super disappointed not to do it again the advises the photos are enticing but it is that the reality pictures you spoil your weekend.

I love this place. Clean and very accommodating. It has wet and dry sauna and sheltered fire place area with lounge chairs u can rest. It also has nice sofa lounge area and many more...... Very nice. I want to go back

Disappointment with Tuango coupons only saved $ 10 per person. There were a lot of people.

I go there very often to enjoy the baths! Nice place in the middle of nature well maintained. Small ordinary bistro on the other hand and lack of beds could nap

Everything you need in a Spa. Great service, lots of baths. Those are outside though, which can be great, depending on what you like. The restaurant on-site isn't too expensive, which is a plus. The only downside for me is the fact that you can see the road from the baths, so you ear trucks, etc. This spoils the scenery (beautiful river, trees, etc.).

About the clientele, lots of disrespectful douchebags, which can be expected in a popular place.

The pools are beautiful and I had a great massage. Unfortunately, the customer service is awful. They don t match the online advertised prices which are significantly lower than the prices at our time of reservation. The manager at the front desk was rude, rolling her eyes at my friends and me, explaining that had we read the fine print we would not be having this conversation. The security guy wasn t any better, also acting exasperated and annoyed when I asked how to find a bathroom (he actually asked why I needed a bathroom!) The locker rooms don t have anything except what appeared to be hand soap in the quite dirty showers. For the price, there are significantly better spas in and around Montreal where the entire experience is more positive.

I loved my visit! The places are fantastic, Super clean, the staff is friendly, the massages are great !! 10/10 I have been going there for several years and the renovations notably in the steam bath make it a place that I particularly cherish. Besides, compared to other seaside resorts, I find that the temperature of spas and saunas is PERFECT !! :)

Make sure to bring flip flops to get in and a towel if you do not want to pay for one. Place was very relaxing, has a sauna, steam shower, jacuzzi and cold pools.

I ve been here in winter and in summer. Very nice place to relax. They have a lot of pools, warm or cold, so it doesnt feel too crowded, even on the weekends!

What i love the most is the staff is really strict about the silence zone , so people wont be able to talk.

They also have relax rooms where you can lay down inside a warm room and listen to the relaxing music !

We did an hour drive to make us say it was complete for men. No indication on their website or on their Facebook page. Very bad service. It was the last time I went there.

Nice places, but seeing 4 people sliding the same day is a little scary. They may put salt these still very dangerous. We are going there for the holidays so a lot of people who spoke stop even at places called silence. The massage therapist completely relaxed me very well for a 2nd massage experience. Negative point there is not enough shower

Staff at the registration was rude and baths/sauna/hamam are average.
We went there mid season, different baths and areas were closed as well as the kitchen. Of course staff doesn't tell you that when you pay the high price to get in (50$ pp).
I give two stars because everything is clean and well maintained.

False Advertising.
We called in advance to see what discounts were offered for my wife's birthday. They told us that it was free. When we arrived, they charged us full price and said it was a minimum of 4 people.

Not to mention the spa is next to a highway!

Bad service, there is shut off of power in the changing room. Been waiting over 20 mins, there is no hot water for shower, electricity for light, no staff is showing up and telling what is happening. Reception keep telling you grab all your stuff and walk all the long way to the other building to have shower. It's really ridiculous service. Rude my holidays season mood.

Heaven ... extra fees !!!
We went there with reduction coupons that the SPA itself distributes everywhere goes for their marketing coup.
But there are a lot of second fees that are added later with a difference in service with and without discount coupons.
That sandals and bathrobes are not understood, we can understand. But that towels and padlocks are not included because we use a discount coupon, we find that "too much".
And to be told direct in the face without tact by the team, we find it ordinary.
The price dropped from $ 25 to $ 45 per person.
The facilities are ok but aging.
The view is poor, giving access either to the SPA bagni directly opposite the other side of the river or on a highway bridge.
The small restaurant on the site is not affiliated with the SPA. Access is direct and ultra easy from the spa but nobody warns us that we have to pay directly on site. Either we know it, or we have to go back through the cloakroom at the other end of the complex to get our card and pay.
And what about the parking ... we have to follow a very busy road on the emergency stop lane to gain access to the SPA and then to the car.

For me nothing beats the Balnea spa in Bromont to date.

I went back for the first time in 15 years. The improvements are really superb, but the lack of respect for silence by the users is aberrant. None of the staff warned people. There is even a woman screaming to speak to a spa man across the river.
The facilities are very nice, but my memory of my experience 15 years ago was much more pleasant. I was not an adult and I respected the silence.
We will not be going back.

Much too achalender for space on the site. The baths and lockers were crowded. Surely due to the numerous discount coupons available at various locations. It should limit access with a maximum number of customers. Impossible to relax or take advantage of moment and very difficult to have a place not "too much stick" on the others in the baths. In addition the polar is badly divide the cold and hot baths separate it in different buildings. It is necessary to cross from one building to the other to access the different bath, relaxation area, dressing room ect ... and more the baths are not very hot ... I do not recommend at all ...

The spa is well located, hot pools, cold, dry sauna and steam sauna with eucaliptus, mini bistro but soon a new one. Noys arrived around 11:30 am very helpful staff. We took the spa package, accommodation, massage. Very satisfied. We even had the Chalet Villa for us 2. Wonderful!

Very bad service! I was assured over the phone when booking that my girlfriend and I would be able to check in and put our stuff somewhere if we were early. We arrived 45 minutes early and brought all our stuff with us to find out we had to wait an hour before we can go up to our lodging.

Two out of the three women that I spoke with at the check in were rude and had nasty attitudes if we spoke in English making the experience very uncomfortable.

Aside from the bad start we very much enjoyed the spas and the massages! There wasn't anything special about the lodging. It was decent at best but much too expensive.

During checkout we had to deal with the lousy attitude again. We left for home but had to turn around and drive an hour back when I found out they never gave me back my drivers license. When I got back I asked the woman why she kept it without telling me and all she said was "It's your fault! you have to remind us." ... Isn't it a routine to give people back their ID during checkout? She also never told me that they were going to hold on to my license during the check in process. I simply left without arguing. This is the only place I have ever had problems with.

Very nice outdoor spa. The environment is superb, as are the facilities. There is only a little silence missing!

Lots of people on weekends. For the best experience, go there during the week. The massage therapy services are exceptional.
