There should be places where it is possible to whisper or use a reasonable tone instead of all baths being silent. As mentioned in previous reviews, the staff are only overseeing while in a bath everyone wanted to talk. Also the price is expensive for the place, $ 30-35 the thermal experience would be a reasonable price. The toilets were very clean, but few in number. The cleanliness of the showers was superb. The meals served in the bistro were not overwhelming, too bad when you spend the day there and what about the service, about thirty minutes waiting for the bill while we were refrigerated ...

Very beautiful place! Many pools to choose from, but althought there are many pools, they are practically almost all the same thing thus the 4 star. Did not try the food or massage yet! Some employees were nice and friendly, others were eh

Very nice relaxing experience. We stayed on Sunday night and we spent the day of Monday in the baths and spas. I do not recommend Mondays, because the traffic at the beginning of the week is not really relaxing. The highway not very far to bring distraction but generally relaxing music covered the noise around.

I arrived with my $ 100 gift card Saturday night and I am told that with a gift card you have to pay the full price of the rate ... really disappointed because with the price of $ 34 Saturday night I had to pay for 1 person $ 51 so for 2 person $ 102 .... ridiculous I made it on purpose to arrive after 6 pm more ... more I thought that I was not going to stop at that but one of hot baths was ridiculously cold .. impossible to stay too long in the winter in bath .... never again for me I wanted to try something other than the Finnish spa but I think it was a bad thing.

I went there with a 2 for 1 coupon, and had a wonderful day enjoying the baths at this spa. The eucalyptus humid sauna they have is amazing! A great way to begin and end your day there.

Great place to relax up near Tremblant. Bit of a more laid back atmosphere than some of the other spas I've visited, they actually let you talk in most spots. Just be aware of that if you're the type who doesn't want to hear people speaking. The only real downside to this location is there isn't a lot of parking so go early or later in the day if you want to find One. You can also check for deals on the internet before going or just pay full price at the location...it's up to you! You can also bring your own robe or rent one there. Bring your own slippers!

I have had an overall good experience until I went in the sauna. It is so hot inside that my lenses from my glasses got damaged. They are special prescription lenses for computer work and they are quite pricey.

The vapor room next to the men's changing room has a sign that says to keep glasses and jewellery out as they could get damaged by the heat and burn your skin.

There is no such warning for the sauna room. The sign just says to enter one at a time to keep the temperature from dropping. People who never went to a Spa such as myself can assume that keeping their glasses for the sauna would be ok.

Well it's not. That should be rectified as soon as possible.

My husband and I had been on my birthday it was really nice and I liked the one thing a lot, one of the people walking around was rude to my husband because he was checking his phone and she thought he was taking a picture of me otherwise the experience was good and I'm ready to go back.

The site is great. On the other hand, cold water baths are far from hot water baths. Indeed, it is a very busy place, it should limit their number of people to baths because I had to wait for a place is free so I can go relax in their baths. I find it flat. And finally, the bathroom is very very small. We had trouble changing so much that we were packed. Short!

Very relaxing and beautiful. but staff VERY RUDE. Like... You go there to relax not to be followed by people without manners "to make sure you follow the rules" there ARE WAYS TO SAY THINGS TO CUSTOMERS maybe a little training to the young employees you have will work out.

Very disappointed with my experience. The locker rooms were rather messy, the customers did not respect the silence and the hot water pools were tiny. As for the bistro, the food was OK but not enough for all the customers. I expected more for such a recognized establishment.

Place was under construction. Long wait to get in. They could have had another receptionist. When we went to leave, the made us return to the front entrance to exit. That was an extra 200m each way in our bathing attire. Then we had to walk down the highway to our car as parking was full.

Great experience, beautiful property.. especially on a mild winter day. A bit sketchy if you have to park in P2 or P3 and literally walk on a highway lane with on-coming traffic to get back to the front door - but all in all the experience was excellent.

Poor customer services, both at the front door counter and in the spa itself, and the baths are not well placed or divers enough, compared to Le Spa Finlandais. Will likely not return.

I did not like this spa at all and the cleanliness of the pools and relaxation areas were below my expectations. What really set me off was the stink smell of damp seating pads/cushions in relaxation rooms and areas that had carpets on. This kind of bad smell is totally unacceptable and a source of health concern!

Other things that I did not like but were not as bad as the smell were:
No showers in the sauna area.
Most indoor areas felt a bit cold.
The outdoor fireplace had no fire or heat; it was just giving off smoke.

The one good thing about the spa was the river passing just beneath the spa and the pleasing sound of flowing water.

Overall, I won't go back again.

Nice facilities by the river, very clean. Victim of its success, many people who pay a small fortune ($ 50 At the regular rate, add $ 12 for a bathrobe).
Some tips to improve:
- have cold sources (eg showers) closer to heat sources
- add a tablet and a small trash in each of the showers (which are not very numerous)
- And above all, to respect the silence! People talked where it is forbidden to do it; And in the area where whispering is allowed, it spoke loudly.

We have been to this spa about ten times, the last of which was when it reopened during covid-19, in early April 2021. We frequently go to other spas, including the Scandinave spa both in Montreal and Mont-Tremblant . In terms of location, facilities and services (massage therapy, treatments) this spa is really good. There is a river, a few swimming pools, 1 steam sauna, 2 dry saunas, etc. The site is clean, well maintained. However, the prices for both the entrance to the baths and the massage therapy services are the same as elsewhere, which allows comparisons to be made. The main negative points of this spa relate to the fact that the atmosphere is often not there, since they do not make customers respect the rules which are nevertheless posted every few meters on the site, and despite the presence of several employees on the site. There is nothing less unpleasant than going to a spa and listening to the conversations (out loud!) Of people sitting with you in the sauna or in the swimming pool. Also, many people bring their cellphones in the pool to take selfis, text, etc. In the swimming pool! Finally, in times of covid-19, they welcome too many people since during our last visit, several people were going around the facilities to be able to find a place in one of the swimming pools (whose number of occupants is limited due to covid). Some people bring their own bathrobe and towel too ... although those from the spa are included in the price. We have been to the Scandinavian spa during covid-19 as well and nothing like it existed. We therefore had certain expectations, especially since the price is the same, but we were disappointed. All in all, we will come back with one of their discount card found in Canadian Tire, but probably not for a full day with treatments.

- 4 hot tub
- 2 cold baths
- 2 access to the river
- 1 wet eucalyptus spa
- 1 dry spa
- 1 pool

Sunbeds and a great view!

For the least:
The dry spa was closed, the picine too, the cold baths were not cold for the "polar" bear club and the people do not mind to talk.

Pro: the view and the security on premise

Pro: the view and the security on premise

The security was very friendly and very helpful. They also spoke perfect English and French which I appreciated. In the changing rooms there was always someone making sure their was toilet paper for the two stalls. They also made sure the sinks were clean and had soap! I had asked why there were only two bathroom stalls in the changing room and the security said that it was because their city approved only a certain number of stalls.

Con:

Receptionist was rude. We had a gift certificate for two free entries and another certificate for a 30$ entry and a Swedish massage for 70$. We were two people and the receptionist said she would apply the cost of the free entry of the certificate on the massage so like that the massage would come out cheaper. Tell me why I still had to pay over 100$ for my Swedish massage if the offer was for a 70$ massage. When we asked the receptionist why it costed that much she kept giving us the same explanation about the coupon was used to deduct from the total of the massage and the final rebate gave that total . We were not understanding her and instead of showing us the math on why it came out to that total, she just kept saying the same thing without explaining it differently. I was getting tired of explaining myself in French so I decided to switch to English. Normally when you are a customer, the employee should also switch languages, especially when the client continuously tells you that they do not understand your explanation. She continued to give the exact same explanation in French so we assumed she didn t speak English. So I accepted this because I had already paid the amount and decided to just stop arguing because clearly i was not getting a clear explanation nor did she call someone over to help me understand. (Might I add, there was another receptionist clearly listening to the entire conversation bc we made eye contact and did not once did she think to interject). Needless to say, when we left, we overheard her speaking English to some English clients so I guess she didn t feel like explaining the reason in English. Fine.

The massage: awful. Especially for the price I paid. I ve had cheaper massages from other spas that were way better when compared to this place. Like other reviewers have said, the quality of the massage was very low. No attention was paid to the targeted areas. I even verbally expressed what areas I wanted her to focus on. And the massage was not equal on both sides. For example, the person massaged my right arm but did not massage my left arm at all. And like the another reviewer said, I think I would ve had a better time had I not had the massage.

Also another thing to mention: the amount that I paid for my massage was indicated on the tip envelop. I m trying to recall if other spas do this but I can t seem to remember. With that being said, I found it strange that the amount I paid was on the envelop. Why did they write the amount for? So they can compare it to the tip? Or is it for the client to see how much they should put in the envelop? (Genuinely asking).

Definitely one of my favorite spa! It is not too far from Montreal, the prices are very good and the service is great. There is a wide choice of bath, sauna and relaxation room to relax. My favorite is the small river that runs along the facilities!

I looked at the comments on Facebook and Google before going there and here is my opinion:

1) Spa customers: 90% understand that it is a relaxation experience, the other 20% speak and do not whisper. It makes the experience really worse!
2) Staff: very welcoming, smiling, and involved so that our experience is the best. I felt bad for the person who had to watch and pick up the customers knowing not to whisper.
3) Baths, sauna, etc. : there are several hot and cold baths, there is access to the river. The baths are in my opinion very good. The saunas and hammams are very good.
4) Places to rest: places seem dilapidated, it is a bit cold, there are no blankets. This is my negative point.
5) Facilities: very small cloakroom, hot water from the shower not very hot, shampoo and shower gel not identified and seem industrial. Walking distance between the installations a bit long and it cools down very quickly. Walking from the parking lot to reception is not that dangerous.
6) The spa does not give bottles of water, towels or padlocks. You have to pay. I quickly became dehydrated

Conclusion: try for a first spa for life, but you may be disappointed if you set expectations

I rediscovered the site after 15 years ... only changes! Completely refurbished location, new locker rooms, relaxation areas, bistro. The Spa offers the same benefits as all the others in Quebec. Ie, whirlpools, sauna, swimming pools (2), towels, bathrobes, bottles of water, small snack on the spot, padlock ... etc. You can bring your own water bottle and you will find faucets to fill it. I really liked my experience, the site is very well laid out, sunbeds everywhere on the site etc..I do not really understand the negative reviews, the staff are very nice, they offer us the tour of the owner on arrival, the ladies at the receptions are very efficient and with a smile! I also enjoyed a massage ... the experience was still there at the height of my expectations! In short, I was delighted with my day and I also returned two days later ... Congratulations to all the team!

Super beautiful, too bad for those who rent the lofts for $ 300 a night that he cannot enjoy the spa earlier in the morning! No television in the lofts ... I understand that it is a place to relax with nature but when it rains and no access to the bath this place is not a good choice!

First, I point out that I am an avid spa lover. My goal is not to destroy the image of an establishment but to warn people who like us feel cheated by what is conveyed by the images of the website ...

To read other reviews, I note that we were not the only ones to be disappointed!

We could not wait to get there and rest there.

First of all, we were very disappointed with the reception: cold staff, not friendly and quick enough to charge us extra items: bathrobes, bottled water (no water fountain on the place of a spa ??), massage.

The men's cloakroom (the one in the massage building) had only one tiny shower and the lockers seemed to have suffered some damage. I think that denotes a lot for a spa at this price and that requires us to pay extra for a bathrobe ($ 23 for 2 bathrobes).

I do not mean food (highway air type sandwiches) really ordinary for this type of establishment.

I strongly advise the therapeutic massage (only the price tells us that it could have been therapeutic). If you like to be flattered, no problem. But if you are really looking for a massage that breaks you down, pass your turn!

The best is the "magnificent" view of the highway bridge and the presence of the baths next to the (tiny) parking lot. Very nice to rest at the sound of trucks passing a few tens of meters from us. The owners might have included these shots on the website so that consumers have a real image of the place.

I strongly recommend the Scandinavian spa where bathrobes are included, water fountains present, spacious lockers, clean (no need to queue for a shower) and really therapeutic massages (especially deep tissue). In addition, the food is very good while remaining very simple. For Montrealers, I also recommend the BotaBota, simple and smaller, but the service and food are excellent, as well as the infrastructure.

The site is very beautiful. But several faults: excessive hidden costs of towel, padlock, bathrobe, gououns, etc. And at this price we walk with a bathrobe on which is written in the back roughly "Property of Polar Bear's". The place is crowded, lots of people everywhere. Queue, with a really strange management of the queue. No room to wait, dozens of people were standing in the parking lot. An employee told us that the wait was 10 to 40 minutes the other from 30 minutes to 2 hours ... Dry employees, not smiling, in a hurry. The rest rooms are also crowded, in one room, people were glued side by side on plastic chairs, like sardines. Waste on the site, in the rocks.

Small cloakroom, not enough room to sit, with only two toilets. So always queues.

This place has so much potential. If they cared more about the spa/customer experience instead of just money!! Would've given only 1 star but since they gave me a refund it warrants an extra.

It's the worst spa I've tried in my life. There were several closed sites, the food was very ordinary ($ 14 for a dry chicken tortilla with no sauce and no taste / cocktail that tasted alcoholic water), people were talking aloud ... so the relaxation was the direct flush ... Me and my boyfriend had a massage. My massage with Roseline was exceptional (the only positive moment in my case).

Everything was clean, I'm just disappointed that when we called to book a massage for one and a body scrub for the other, they didn't mention it would be preferable to finish with the cares instead of the baths and sauna.
My body scrub would have more successful and relaxing after all the soacking and steaming, I would have left the spa smelling like nice creams instead of chlorine.

Its a great spa thats very clean and well maintained. The staff is smiling, profeasional and welcoming. The obligation of silence in certain baths is very nice for those who want to actually relax in peace while the chatboxes can go to the baths where it is allowed to speak. A great place!

Beautiful spa with competent massage therapist. Only thing is that in the afternoon there are often a lot of people in the baths and it is a little less relaxing: better go in the morning or evening!

This place is relatively inexpensive and very cute! There's multiple saunas and hot tubs and many resting areas so you're not crammed. The view is the only thing that's lacking a bit, you see a huge overpass in the distance so it breaks up the sense of being in nature, but otherwise it's pretty great. Also they let you bring all your own stuff and save $$ that way, some spa don't allow your own robe and the standard is always oversized, being petite I really appreciate having the option to wear my own.

Superb! Clean and welcoming. What a pleasure to relax in one of the 2 whirlpools and read stretched out in comfortable lounge chairs by the river. The wood-fired sauna is very hot and the eucalyptus steam room got rid of a bad cough. To do regularly!

It's ok as a spa .. ..but the decor is a little spoiled with some sections that have a view of the highway 15 .... The saunas are very good ... the steam sauna with eucalyptus is spacious . Silence is not always reinforced ..... for a superior experience go to The Source in Rawdon.

The site is very good and the space is big enough that even with a lot of traffic there is room for everyone. But, people are talking loudly, are on their cellphones and play music on their speakers and no one has come to tell them to respect the rule of silence. Many employees are dedicated to keeping calm, but they just walk by and say nothing. I probably won't be going back, but still enjoyed my day.

However, a bit far away and there could be a better food selection for snacks.

Great first visit. Would definitely recommend this place however our visit today was marred by a rude receptionist. We arrived shortly before 11am and were taken aback by the abrupt and rude behaviour of a young lady who clearly had no interpersonal skills and shouldnt be at the welcome desk.

Overall a good experience. We had been to Nordic in Ottawa a few days before so we were kind of underwhelmed during our visit. The spa is layed out across a river and you don't have the many different restaurants that you have in Nordic. Nor is it as fancy/clean. The locker rooms is basically why I'm giving this a 3 star. The men's locker room was extremely small to the point that you could barely move.

The massage wasn't great. They have a theft problem. Multiple boots were stolen from the male changeroom the night we went, including ours. The customer service wasn't great either. All in all, would not recommend, would not go again.

We had to wait an hour before entering because there was a waiting list (we were there at around 5 pm on a Sunday), there is not enough parking space, and once you're lucky to find a spot, you have to walk on a road facing cars driving at least 70 km/h , because there is no sidewalk. To my surprise, the staff in the reception are the least welcoming staff I've met. The place itself is pretty big, saunas and pools feel cozy (but some pool do smell like chemicals). The kitchen is small, not much choice (the food is delicious, thought). Overall, the place is nice, but for the price I was expecting a better service, or at least a more smiley staff.
