Our last visit on 2020/11/28 was unfortunately disappointing. We bought 2 massages online which gave us the choice of Swedish or therapeutic. We wanted a therapeutic massage because we are used to receiving massages in spas and it is really the type of massage that makes us feel good. We booked our massage specifying that we wanted the therapeutic massage. Once there, the massage therapists Marianne and Pierre told us that we had booked a Swedish massage. I objected and expressed that this is not what I asked for. Marianne told me that she did not do therapeutic massages and that it was more expensive for this type of massage. Unfortunately, I didn't have my phone with me to provide proof that my online purchase gave us the right to therapeutic massage. She told me to settle in and that she would check it out. When she returned she told me that we had booked a Swedish massage and the massage began. When I got there I couldn't resist because it was our massage time that was going on. After the massage, I returned to the reception to validate everything and Sabrina confirmed to me that she did not understand because we were entitled to the therapeutic massage and Marianne and Pierre both do it. In other words, Marianne lied to me and in the end we did not get the massage we requested. It is very disappointing, because it had been 1 year since we had not had a massage and we drove 2 hours for it. Needless to say, we were not happy with the massage received. Sabrina at the front desk told me she was going to escalate the situation and see what can be done. I was told we would be contacted by phone, but 5 days later I still haven't received a call. Until we receive compensation for it, unfortunately we will not be returning.

Overall a nice spa. Had a great experience with the baths and a massage. My one complaint is the river access was not as good as the spa across the river. The access you have is in the calm part of the river closer to the highway. It would be nice to enjoy the flow of the river and lounge on the rocks in the mini rapids

I love going to this place, very peaceful, well maintained. The people of the Polar make sure that silence is respected in the baths by warning us if we speak too loud, it is a little unpleasant but I understand that it is for the respect of all!

Great facilities, set on a nice background of forest and nature. Great selection of saunas and baths of varying temperatures. Not the best vibe due to covid though (the limit per facility is low,)

Great place to relax and unwind from the daily routine. Enchanting site. 2 access to the river. Always clean and well maintained. Courteous service. The food in the bistro is delicious and the prices are reasonable. I recommand it.

Great place and value for the price. Beautiful scenery and perfect way to unwind! Really nice deal for the water circuit if you go after 6PM on evenings. Parking is a bit limited so just watch out for that. Make sure to pack a water bottle and flip flops!!

Lots of people were talking in the silence section ... others were screaming and throwing water in the sauna ... a romantic evening that really fell into the water. It's theft to charge us so dearly when we can't even relax ...! 1st and last time.

Great spa with reasonable prices for the quality of the services. I took an hour massage and the thermal experience. I went with 2 of my girlfriends. We all loved it very much !

We were lucky to go on a nice day that was quiet. We look forward to going back !

We were staying in a hotel in the area that had an advertisement for this establishment offering a discount at all times. We went there on a Monday at 5:40 p.m. and when we arrived the lady at the reception pointed out to us that the coupon had expired for 1 month. At 6:00 p.m. there was a preferential rate but instead of being offered it we were asked to wait outside. We left and I sent an email to the management who called me in the person of the sales manager. After speaking, this person sent me two access cards. And even worse, the restrictions, no weekends or paid 10 dollars more, no holidays either. In short unless you are retired no interest. So wanting to fix their mistakes they commit over and over again, hoping that once you get there you pay a high price. But no, go spend your money elsewhere.

Compared to other spas I found this spa more outdated. You need to bring your own lock instead of having a lock bracelet typically provided at more modern spas. The view of the water was nice from the hot tubs, but the problem with the tubs was all the hot tubs were the exact same temperature when I visited so there was no variety. While the hot tubs were nice and large, there are other spas not far away that I prefer.

What a terrific first spa experience! Loved the outdoor hot tubs, eucalyptus steam sauna, sunrooms and Swedish massage. I would have loved to stay longer to sample all the different areas, on a perfect sunny February day.

I went 3 times, the outside is beautiful !! The first 2 times, the masseurs was ok, but the 3rd time it was super good, listening to my needs the masseur alone I would give it 5 stars. I also like the partnership with local restaurants that give discounts with the spa bill.

The changing rooms are in need of renovation but the biggest problem in my opinion is the reception. The first time the girl was alone, there were a few people on the line but in addition the phone that rang all the time. The poor rushaus so much but she was super nice. The last time I got a call I got accidentally hung up, I called back and waited 12 min and the girl said 1 Hello and didn't hear me and hung up on me, I can tell you that I was not too happy, I call back and she answer at least no wait, I comment to her that I got hung up 2 times, she did not apologize and just ignored !! Maybe it was not his fault but to give good customer service you need a little empathy towards certain situations. It's ridiculous in addition that there is as much waiting on the phone because the other 2 times it took time to get answered. Maybe train staff who are free to help when it is busy

This place has several problems. He jam pack the site so we are far from relaxing. In addition, the reception desk does not give all the information. Our check out was scheduled for 10am and at 9:30 the maid was there summoning us to leave. The last day, you had to have a blue bracelet. Nobody told us. So, after avoiding being put outside with my wife, by the same guy who made us visit and open our room (!), We were picked up the bracelet at the reception, but after 45 minutes of waiting. All that is for sale on the site is expensive. Do not go there!

I went there the day before yesterday with my lover. We took access to the baths and a gourd, for a total of $ 114
Seriously what disappointment
- a towel given per person We had to walk around with wet towels all night. You can not change your towel.
- The distance between the reception and the locker rooms is rather big, people with their coats and luggage go by the spas and it's really not relaxing.
- you can hear the sound of the wings on the highway which is right next to it. How to relax?
- the staff is really indifferent. They change the bins next to us as if it was normal to make noise with their big bags in a relaxation area.
- finally, with this entry price, we expected a lot more. This evening was really disappointing.

Honestly ... It was my first and certainly my last visit.

Needs renovations (not a spa feeling). Highway visible/audible. Mediocre massage. Staff is friendly but too young. Need to audit visitors with no bracelets. Bras are not bathing suits - not beachclub.

Worst spa experience by far! The staff was rude and harassing, not welcoming at all.
The location itself is beside a noisy highway. The changing rooms (for women at least) was very small and crowded, with only one washroom and two small showers. There was a very commercial feel to the entire place; if you are looking for a relaxing getaway, this is not the place! Security guards stand by the pools shushing people at the slightest sound, threatening expulsion. The entire experience was stressful; we left after 2 hours. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Avoid!

Make the purchase online because if you show up you will see that the amount at the counter is double! If you want to buy it online even after going to the counter, they have an activation time to make sure you pay the full price! A funny vision of the company, I did not buy online believing naively that it was going to be the same thing at the counter. Two lessons: always check 30 times to make sure you do not pay double the price ... And never go back to the polar bear.

Came here at 5 o'clock and didn't want to wait till 6 to access the baths, it's cheaper if you come at 6 (29.95$ instead of 44.95$). They lend you a lock and a towel as well for that price, massages are extra and you should book in advance. That being said, there's a couple of saunas (steam and dry), access to the river, where the water is calm, access to hot spas, and cool pools too. There's quite a bit of space for lounging in the sun, you might want to bring a book and some earphones if you're into that. Oh, and the staff is friendly to boot :)

Nice place and updated facilities, but impossible to feel in full relaxation. People talk continuously at normal voice volume, and imitate the instruction of silence or whisper. It's been 3 times that I go and I live this inconvenience. If at least the whisper was respected, but no ... People speak and speak loudly! And the staff does nothing to control the sound level and quietude.

Average asser experience, I think it's poorly designed. The space between hot and cold baths is too big. Some hot baths had almost no swirl. Not as clean as the other spas we have visited. Bathrobes and towels too small. There are specific places to "whisper", alas everyone spoke aloud. The places of relaxation are small. My good points, the massages and the river.

I love the site which is enchanting on the edge of the river! You can even swim there, summer and winter, which is great. It is just a shame that some people do not understand basic citizenship by reserving their lounge chair for the day, depriving others of certain more than pleasant spaces while they are in spas or saunas. The center is aware of this problem and is looking for a solution to follow!

My girlfriend and I came here on a small getaway from Montreal. First things first, service; outstanding. Cleanliness was kept to a high standard. The staff was extremely nice and peppy. Which helps if your checking in/going to the spa at 9 am. Sylvie was the receptionist that helped us. She was amazing! Didn't give us a hard time about speaking French or English (she went along with our franglais). The second staffer that I have to acknowledge is Bruno. Now, I sprained my ankle on this trip and the bistro and receptionist didn't have ice. So Bruno went to go grab me an expired instant ice pack that they had in their med kit (he didn't know it was expired). He found me in the baths at the spa told me he would bring it up to our room which he did, and told me that if anything else was needed we should call the front desk and be transferred to him directly. Now if you can't call that service I don't know what is! Bed was made nice and tidy for the second night and the balcony was nice and overlooked the whole spa. The downsides to this place was the highway that ran right next to it. You could literally hear sport bikes zoom by (which I love but would piss some people off) which kinduv broke the tranquility of the setting. The second downside was the pricey bistro. If you're staying over night here and you need food; I recommend Rue Pricipale and trying all the restaurants there. They have recommendations for restaurants in the booklets in every loft and helps you out a lot.
We didn't try delivery to our room. And I don't recommend it. It would be too confusing and would just waste a whole bunch of time. Go out, explore, and try the massage services (it's immaculate). Check it out have fun and relax.
I forgot to mention; we purchased "La Grande Ourse" package and extended it by one night. Roughly 650$ excluding food. So roughly 850$ for two night and three days (you get all access to baths for everyday you're there. Even before checking and after checkout). It's an amazing place! Great for a small getaway, and it's guaranteed we're coming back in the winter time.

Location very good and clean. A section is unfortunately closed when there are not enough people (the most beautiful in my opinion) and the place can quickly become crowded. Parking is also far from the site if there are many people, but occasionally there is a shuttle service.

The polar bear's club has been less and less popular in recent years because there is a lot of staff turnover and they do not enforce the rules of silence as they should be in specific places. That said, if you want to relax and unwind, this is not the best place.

Nice place. Relaxing. Nice because the river is accessible for swimming a bit. It's missing in winter. However the little cafe is expensive and offers little. It is better to bring a lunch.

Its a great spa thats very clean and well maintained. The staff is smiling, profeasional and welcoming. The obligation of silence in certain baths is very nice for those who want to actually relax in peace while the chatboxes can go to the baths where it is allowed to speak. A great place!

Good ambiance. Good waters to relax and well controlled for noise. One less star because the prices for the little restaurant I got my Caesar sandwich was robbery. The price for a little sandwich was outrageous but I was hungry.

Installation with many stairs and thermal circuit difficult to follow easily.
Also, we go to the bistro, experience more than ordinary charcuterie board at $ 14 plus bottle of water, because nothing offered = $ 20 supposedly Prosciutto while in the end we were served 4 slices of salami, not to mention cold and non-barge personnel.

Only positive the masseur people (there were 3 of us so 3 different masseurs) were all very professional, welcoming, and very kind.
