The points that I liked is that the place is beautiful and quiet and the food is good. It is a normal spa with a pretty good atmosphere etc. What I don't like is massage. Maybe it's not all masseuse, but the massage I had had no effect, I still felt so tense before and after. In addition, massages are really expensive.

The reason why I am giving 1 star despite the fact that there are good points is that on my massage bill, the masseuse wrote my name incorrectly. I cannot send an invoice with a badly written name to the insurance. It's also my fault that I didn't take a good look at the invoice before leaving the premises, but when I called they told me they were going to mail me an invoice with my name written on it. . I called twice for this, with a 3 week delay between each call, but I never received the paper and it's been 2 months now.

Absolute relaxation outdoors! Summer and winter .... 2 different atmospheres due to the opposite climate, a magical setting under the snow or a verdant moment of nature! Hot and cold baths, hammam, sauna, river, treatments, relaxation areas. Winning combo for a relaxed break!

Very nice spa, lots of spa and rest areas. There is a nice place in the river to swim without touching the bottom. Beautiful landscape, tranquil. The $ 25 card for one entry does not include anything, so bring a padlock, towel, sandals and a bathrobe in winter. Was surprised to see so many people there on a Monday afternoon in September, just 2 toilets in the women's locker room so there was a wait. I did not like that people reserved the lounge chairs with their towels preventing them from being used because there were none available.

Employees think they are Big Brother to stay next to the baths to watch that no one speaks or whispers. Very unpleasant, never again visit for me.

This was our first time at a spa and we enjoyed our experience. We will return.

Very dissatisfied with the last visit, it s dirty everywhere, reconstruction is required, the tree in the saunas is old and frayed. The price does not match the services provided.

The pools are clean and the water temperature ok but the sauna is too hot and the steam bath too hot you couldn't breathe or see yourself in this steam. The attendant who closed the place at 9:00 p.m. warned us to get out of the water at 8:40 a.m. for the closure in 20 minutes ... there are useless zones of silence because we hear the trucks on the 117 and the sound of the river is quieter at La Source in Rawdon

Really disappointed with this spa ... customer support not at all level. I booked for a promotion and I had a validation code for my purchase. I called giving my code to reserve and everything was fine. When I arrive at the reception, I am told that in fact, the reservation schedule for my massage was not in accordance with my promotion (leve tot) and that I had to pay 100 pieces more at the counter for the day . The person on the phone did not inform me of this at all !!! If I decided to cancel on the spot, I would have to pay more than 100 pieces the same because the masseurs were booked and that's the price for a cancellation. Really a hold up !! Their excuse: our systems do not communicate with each other and the receptionist could not even know with your reservation codes. So we had a really bad experience ...

I stayed here 2 years ago during the Winter season. Perfect for couples, the spa area is amazing as you have outdoor jacuzzis and heated pools. The views are beautiful, and the feeling of walking around in the freezing cold in a robe and then jumping into a jacuzzi is an unforgettable experience. Had the best massage of my life at this facility, however my favorite part by far was the cabin. They used to offer a package for 2 days of full spa access, couples massage of your choice and a stay in one of their deluxe cabins, which came with an active fireplace. They have since discontinued the cabins, which is very disappointing because this place is quite far away, so having to drive all the way there and then leave the same day kind of cancels out the relaxation experienced at the spa.
Bring back the cabins!!!!

On the place side I have absolutely nothing to say ... it's clean and warm ..... but in the locker room it's hard .... they could have made them bigger and more convenient. And the restaurant ... super good but I paid $ 13 for a mini bowl of chili with 4 mini crisps which ... yes enough anyway but that at the same pace costs $ 1.50 to make so it's laughing at the world of DSL.

Nice spot to relax. Massage was okay, nothing amazing, place gets really crowded in the afternoon. I enjoyed my time there.

The facilities really need to be updated. Also small details like having to carry around your locker key everywhere should be edited in the same fashion as Le Scandinave, where you wear a modern waterproof bracelet that scans your locker open. The quiet rooms are depressing, chairs need to be updated badly. The view with the highway in front of you is not relaxing. 2 stars because my back treatment was great.

I have been there numerous time. I find the client service is going down hill... rude and unwelcoming employees and when trying to book a spa service, it can take up to 15-20 minutes for someone to answer the phone! This is unacceptable. We should be able to make a reservation online instead of wasting precious on the phone waiting. I have booked a deal on Black Friday, that is why I'm going... not having a gift certificate, I wouldn't bother with them... Probably the last time ill be going. Its worth it to drive to Nordik spa in Cantley, QC.

I have always been to this spa with my mother, who loves her. Personally, it's not my favorite ... It's far, it's expensive and we spend time walking between the different levels of the site. Bring your lunch and hide it in your locker because .... their restaurant is very expensive and not worth the price! Stuck on a river with strong current. It's beautiful .... especially with the sight of a bridge over Highway 15 100 meters away?!? Lol

The place is lovely, it is a really nice place to go and relax. The food is extremely delicious It is a great experience, but all the employees are very rude. The women at the reception acted like huge hypocrites, the other employees would speak very rudely to us, especially the cook. The clientele service is definitely something they should all work on. we drove for a long time to have a good time and we were treated very badly.

Super beautiful, too bad for those who rent the lofts for $ 300 a night that he cannot enjoy the spa earlier in the morning! No television in the lofts ... I understand that it is a place to relax with nature but when it rains and no access to the bath this place is not a good choice!

My first visit. The site runs along a cascading river. I greatly appreciated the vigilance of the supervisors who enforce the silence. Very clean facilities. We don't step on each other's toes.

Bought a gift certificate from them at their holiday carrefour du nord station, and the woman was sooo arrogant and rude Was to busy planning her weekend with her friend in our face to answer us, literally wouldnt even look at us.. Then i had the chance of getting her again but at their actual spa reception this pass saturday.. Girl would WHISPER and accelerate as she spoke to make sure we felt unwanted and awkward she looked SOOOO annoyed to see us again.. Rolling her eyes at us and everything And i should mention my husband and i have never seen this girl in our lives we felt not wanted there at all, terrible service! Others that worked there also saw this happen and no one stepped in to help us Once inside, regretting being there at all already, it was packed! People everywhere, very commercial place with few intimate places.

3 1/2 Stars. Phone service is slow (around 20 minute wait). Washrooms way too small, spa number 3 smells like chemicals. Definitely not the best spa, but still almost a decent one.

Very beautiful place, it is paysibe, quiet and relaxing music helps us relax. I advise you to go there in the winter for the cold and hot experience. But not a -20

Despite the massage which wasn t my favorite, everything was perfect and nice. We enjoyed the location, jacuzzis, and atmosphere very much. The price was a bit high but it s worth it.

Your smile makes too much noise, practically harassing despite the whispers, foul food, lack of professionalism given their demanding requests for silence completely counter-indicative to their actions ... should be registered at the entrance (place reserved for the deaf and dumb).

Its great!!!! The place is clean, the staff lovely and they have a you can talk/whisper zone. Also,the lil restaurant on site is super good

Not really a place to relax, too crowded and they charge extra for everything! If you are looking for a SPA like experience, go somewhere else!

Lack of courtesy at the entrance. Far too small to let so many people enter. Cloakrooms too small. People whisper in quiet places and speak loudly in places to whisper. Quite ordinary as experience.

It is sad to see so many negative notes for the spa me who wanted to go there this weekend. Although there are some positive points but frankly I am disappointed to see these comments. We who are a couple (black) if the people of white colors did not like their experience, what will be ours if we go there ... Good Thank you for the people who give their comments it allows to see that finally we will go not and we will not be welcome too lolol. Having been to this spa ten years ago I liked my experience, it was a beautiful spa in the mountains and peaceful. I intend to keep at least this memory.

We had the villa instead of the loft and liked it. The staff is nice. The massage I hated. Make me flatter for $ 130 no thank you. I really felt that the girl who was massaging me had a training of 15minutes before my massage. Disappointing

Worst Home of the world! Have to give us any information on where to go for the locker room. Receptionist has a paid attitude and decrees. Noisy. No fountain to drink. On the other hand very beautiful spa.

The whirlpools (3) have no pressure one of the two dry saunas was not hot enough, I remarked at the admissions office but they all looked at me with a questioning smile, even at $ 50 bought at costco its not going for me it is well finished "polar bear's".

The only negative point is that there is the busy road behind the river so the view is less beautiful and the noise allows us to escape less.

Because it is spacious calm and the perfect way to disconnect.

Positive point: Professional and competent staff and the place looks sublime.

Negative point: I bought a Black Friday massage package for 2 and access to the Nordic bath. I call to make a reservation and nobody informs me that the access to the bath is not available (no I have not checked) and on the spot I am informed that if I take my certificate for the massage that I lose my access in the bath but that I could pay for 2 new massages and I will keep my offer for later.

Definitely if I had to keep a certificate for my access to the bath I would still have to pay for massage, drink and much more on my next visit but hey.

So what to say beautiful place .... A two, alone, 4 to 20 lol to do ...
By cons I find rentals of bathrobes, very expensive towels .... it should have a package that includes this as some spa are already doing .... $ 15 is not given over the payment of more more massage as needed more plus plus means I find ... in any case except that ... superb beautiful place to do absolutely especially that d the sun is lying ... 2nd experience in a spa. My 1st experience was great, nothing to do with this 2nd. In addition to having refused the gift card with the discount ($ 25 instead of 40), the "supervisor" was very arrogant. Their marketing coup has the opposite effect and I will not go back. I felt like I was "noodle" for not knowing this information.
Despite everything, we were able to take advantage of the hour that we were there before they closed part of the baths (3 p.m. with few people). We went dangerously to the car parking in the P2 passing along the 117 because there is no other access (snow plowing?).

In summary: very bad customer experience. I will no longer encourage a company that considers that the customer experience is not important.

Nice view, place is clean ... I advise you to be there before noon unless you like to relax with 37 people At the bistro, the platter of cold meats is not appetizing ... there is no machine to dry our jersey ....

Really liked the place. When we visited in August 2016, the place was going through some remodeling so some parts were closed. Dry sauna are getting a bit old, but the steam sauna was unbelievable, i'd the nicest I've seen in a spa.
Loved the sound of the river while trying to relax, they also served some complimentary tea which tasted great.
I would definitely recommend, it'll be even better once all the work is done!

Most businesses pride themselves on caring about their customers, but for the Polar Bear, it really is. We were at the site this morning and had to leave after only 1:30 am, after a little mishap. We go to the reception and the supervisor knew how to act professionally, caring about us, and not just the profit of the company. A gift card to come back another day. Without knowing it, he won two new clients for a long time. It's very rare that I comment on Goggle, but I wanted to highlight this good deed from the Polar Bear. He had no repayment obligation. Hat. Perfect in winter when it snows, it's great! Not recommended to go there on weekends because obviously everyone goes too! Drop your weekday jobs and go during the week!

Bistro service to be desired no water service at table and no blanket to warm up

Not recommmend throughout winter. There are too many exterior pathways between like 4 or 5 buildings making it super inconvenient to trekk thru the cold while being wet the majority of the time. Also it seems like they dont set a cap for guests. Some saunas were way overcrowded :(

I visited several spa, but the polar bear's club is undoubtedly my favorite near Montreal! The facilities are always clean and well maintained. There are several pools and facilities, so although there are a lot of people, we are not all stuck. The service is always very courteous!

It was good, but I found the price high compared to the spas I used to attend which offer them so much diversity in the baths in addition to providing everything and being hygienic. Polar bear does not provide padlocks, towels, bathrobe (unless you want to pay extra) so you have to get a bag "baggage" before you go and we found saunas more or less clean ... I think we pay especially for the "name" and for the location (river, mountain view).
