I love this dealership! My mom bought a car here two years ago and loved the help she got from everyone there, so when it came time for me to get my first car we came back for their help. Went in looking to trade my truck in on a new Sierra 2500HD, and they made the deal happen! I went looking for a truck in Stone Blue, but with limited Inventory left, they had a hard time finding one. They ended up making me a great deal on a black SLT that I am very happy with. Parts people are great but really wouldn t buy a vehicle after dealing with there service department very ignorant people and also scam me by charging for a recall to be done. Won t be dealing with capital anymore. Looks like Sherwood is where I be heading

If you have to buy a GMC... GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE. These salesman (and even the management) had me running around for months after selling me a truck that couldn't get thru 2" of snow. Don't waste your time here.

I went in to trade my old truck to get a new one, everyone I met and saw was super nice at first.
Then when i picked up my truck my AC wasnt working and it took them 3 weeks to get a part to put it in.
They forgot to pay my other loan out for 6 weeks and when i called them back i was told "oh sorry accounting forgot to pay it". My experience has been really bad here and before going in please consider other options.

I have multiple friends that have gone through there to buy vehicles and all had very positive results! My homie Cole Royer is the service manager there,be sure to go check them out If youre in the market for a new vehicle!

I always get my vehicle serviced at Capital. They have great service department, and provide very fast and friendly service . I recommend Goldie in sales department also. He is very honest, trust worthy and extremely knowledgeable about all of their products. I highly recommend this dealership :).

Although the initial dealership response and service seemed great, post-purchase of the vehicle has led to lack responses and little help in regard to an issue they caused. Specifically, they said the vehicle had a feature in which it did not and despite being told they would make it right, have yet to receive any response despite me trying to keep in touch for a solution. The rest of the experience was mediocre at best, but stating a feature that isn't actually there just to make a sale is my primary concern.

Hope to hear from them regarding this edited review but based on the post-purchase experience I've received so far, I don't have the high expectations as I once did of them.

I have bough several vehicles from capital gmc, Melanie in the service department is amazing, they look after me every time, even tho they are very busy. I trust them to get the job done right the first time and at a reasonable price. They even installed a supercharger on my truck, a big investment, and they regularly service that too. My whole family and all of my friends bring their vehicles here, never a complaint. Do yourself a favour, come see these guys, they work hard to keep you coming back

I am a 2500 gmc owner with 30 000 km on my truck yet I was told I would be charged 150 for them to trouble shoot a problem that I told them is wrong . Then after booking an appointment first thing in the morning she then told me the manager wouldn't even look at it till late afternoon. Looks like me 45 min drive to have a turn light fix was a complete waste . Please go somewhere else to keep your sanity intact .

Good luck getting your deposit back - I had put a deposit on the perfect vehicle and made them aware I would be in as soon as I could, after 7 calls from a rude and annoying sales associate I made it in. He rushed me into the vehicle and sat on his phone texting and talking the whole 4 minute test drive, which he cut short for another client. I spent a lot of time waiting around for him to make me a priority. When I asked about add on's he was annoyed and showed it. Finally, I involved the manager to talk to me about the vehicle since this guy had no time for me. I have to say Brett, the manager, was awesome. And made me feel like he actually wanted me to have a good experience. He sent me home with the vehicle for the weekend to try out. When I returned it Monday it was a whole lot more attitude from the sales associate and text messages that were confrontational. He also, had not gotten me the quotes I had asked for the add on's. In the end, I didn't get the vehicle and am still waiting for my deposit three weeks, and about 20 phone calls, later.

I have purchased about 14 new trucks in the last 19 years, for my businesses, wife and myself, never have i been treated so well. I inquired on a Sunday, Brittany Witbeck immediately sent me info on 2 units to suit my requests with prices and discounts all in. The first thing i want to mention was there was no going back and forth looking, negotiating and arguing prices, they beat my local dealer by $5000 on first try, without a big ordeal. She then was off for the weekend when i planned on picking up the truck, and handed me off to Brett, Sam And Sydney. These people treated me like a king before and most importantly, after the sale. I arrived after a 3 hour drive and they started with introductions, they gave me tour of the facility, and show room. They then gave me a complete 360* information session on every feature of my vehicle, including safety and convenience features. We had a minor misunderstanding on optional equipment i wanted installed prior to me getting there but it was because i didn't get back to them with a commitment ahead of time. Either way, they then pulled strings and worked out away to get it all done and shipped out to me with installs where required. Unbelievable experience. finally I felt respected as the buyer and that buying another vehicle and getting right for me was the priority, i often feel that dealers are so used to pumping out vehicles and that it is no big deal to them. However, it is a huge deal to me, and i cant wait to do it again. The Parts guys kept in good contact with the entire time. They were disappointed they were out of stock on my couple preferences, but assured me they had a huge run on new sales and it depleted there stock. I am debating trading my wife's vehicle in now and upgrading her to a new gmc SUV . Frank -former Ford Guy: I purchased 2015 gmc sierra Z71

Nice dealership with great staff! Naomi was very patient with all my questions, kind and professional.

I had my shocks "replaced" at this dealership 6 months ago. I then found my compressor was running all the time and brought the vehicle back in to have them check the air lines thinking that they hooked something up incorrectly. They said everything was fine (looking back there is no way they checked it and the technician that did this work is now gone from the dealership....). A month later my air suspension stopped working (since the air compressor was doing overtime). It seems they didn't check anything, the "new" shock is now blown and it resulted in my compressor burning out. The shock was replaced under warranty but they would not give me any consideration on the air compressor. I told them I would meet them half way on the cost and we could start from a clean slate. The service manager didn't even consider my offer that I felt was more than reasonable. Brutal. I am in the market for a new truck and I will not be buying from this dealership. I had good experience up until it switched ownership to Capital GMC Buick. DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE DEPARTMENT.

I would not recommend this dealership to anyone nor go back there!
After reading all the great reviews here, I was so excited to go to the dealership, and also because i saw a car with the features i wanted online, so I didn't mind driving for 30mins from the West end all the way to the South to go see it.
The sales guy was fantastic! but i could not believe the amount the manager, Adam offered for my vehicle, i think they must have thought since i am female and black (and i was there by myself), i would not know what my car is worth.
I had gone there to view a 2010 Hyundai Tucson, and was looking to trade in my vehicle; a 2014 Ford Fusion SE with appearance package + Navigation, 145k Km mileage, they were offering to buy it for $4,000!! I was dumbfounded! I couldn't believe it! I told him that was less than half the trade-in value of the car on Canadian black books, and he told me CBB is not accurate for determining price and they use some other tool, blah blah blah...
I took the car to another dealership the same day and i was offered double the price!

I usually don't spend time to write reviews, but this was such a very bad experience and i really needed to talk about it.
If you plan going to this dealership, make sure you have done your research and you know the value of your vehicle if you intend doing a trade-in

I am mom with 2 kids and my rig was in for some issues and with this deep freeze they ran in to some problems they kept me in the loop and even deliver my rig to my door ... mel is one of best service advisors I ever delt with and will continue to request because of her great service !!! I purchased a used SUV from this dealership from Regina, SK. I dealt directly with Adam, the used car manager and he was AMAZING. Its always worrisome to put your trust in someone to provide you the knowledge and condition of a vehicle and to trust its accuracy before deciding to make to the commitment to travel to Edmonton to pick it up. I was sent a detailed video of the vehicle outlining its condition and features. There were a few minor hiccups with the transaction but Adam took responsibility and made it right and ensured I was happy in the end. He even sent someone to pick up my husband from the airport and drive him to the dealership. They offered AMAZING pricing and customer service even rectifying a concern 3 weeks after I had the SUV back in Regina, sending a cheque for a wheel alignment so it could pass the safety here in Regina, no questions asked.
