Review of Southgate Buick GMC

I had my shocks "replaced" at this dealership 6 mo...

I had my shocks "replaced" at this dealership 6 months ago. I then found my compressor was running all the time and brought the vehicle back in to have them check the air lines thinking that they hooked something up incorrectly. They said everything was fine (looking back there is no way they checked it and the technician that did this work is now gone from the dealership....). A month later my air suspension stopped working (since the air compressor was doing overtime). It seems they didn't check anything, the "new" shock is now blown and it resulted in my compressor burning out. The shock was replaced under warranty but they would not give me any consideration on the air compressor. I told them I would meet them half way on the cost and we could start from a clean slate. The service manager didn't even consider my offer that I felt was more than reasonable. Brutal. I am in the market for a new truck and I will not be buying from this dealership. I had good experience up until it switched ownership to Capital GMC Buick. DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE DEPARTMENT.
