Saw phantom of the Opera well we had nose bleed seats so it was very hard to see I regret not getting better seats I recommend bringing binoculars if you have crappy seats! Besides that everything else was great you can buy a drink of liquor before the show which is nice!

Recently attended a show here and have been here through the years. It's widely known that the Jubilee is an older venue and in my opinion it could use a slight renovation. The staff have always been wonderful and helpful. One area that needs severe improvement is the parking situation. For those of you who have never been here before the parking was a lot more organized. We parked directly across from the building (parking is run by Park Plus now). We did not see any traffic control staff directing traffic (they used to have this before) outside of the parking lot and at the train crossing where the 2 stop signs are. It was complete chaos, lots of people honking and yelling. We sat in our parking lot for 30 minutes before we actually exited the lot, then another 10 minutes to finally exit the entire property. Between the pedestrians crossing from the building to the parking lot and people trying to back out of their spaces it was CHAOS. You are not allowed to back into the stalls (big sign) because when the Park Plus car checks the lot their cameras cannot read your plate if you are backed in. It was so much more organized when they had traffic control staff holding and directing traffic to ensure that it runs smoothly.

I've been going here to see musicals and plays for over 8 years and I always have an amazing experience and the staff are nice and very helpful when assisting you to your seats and everything is very well organized.

The concert venue when in Calgary, still ok but only a few places to actually have concerts here. Watched 2CELLO concert tour recently (April 22, 2018), performance was great! but sound system seems outdated.

nice

Good event venue, sightlines on the second balcony aren't the best but reasonable given the size of the venue. Bar, coat check and accessable seating are all available. Parking is the SAIT and ACAD lots and range from $7 to $20 depending on event. The SAIT C-Train station is directly outside which makes it convenient for taking public transit to and from events.

Great venue for all sorts of shows. I was able to Seinfeld, video games live, mother mother, etc here and it was all great. Never found it very difficult to find parking but leaving can sometimes be a pain, however if you don't expect traffic after a big event then you are just weird.

The parking staff will make sure you have hassle free handicapped parking near the rear access to the auditorium. Good wheel chair access to washroom. My experiences over the years has me a regular customer. Thanks to all the Staff and Volunteers who make the amazing events take place in our beautiful city of Calgary.

The Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium is a great venue. Housing a large theater with great acoustics and a modern, well-maintained lobby, every part of this theater was a pleasure to experience.

From outside to inside. The parking staff are well trained and organized to handle big ticket headliners. They keep traffic flowing at a good rate and guide you to areas with ample parking. The staff on the inside are just as knowledgeable and extremely helpful when it comes to the layout of the auditorium and where you are seated, location of facilities and troubleshooting ticket issues. The acoustics and seating are still great and have been upgraded throughout the years to keep current.

The performance (Dracula) as great, parking is a joke. pre-ordered drinks for intermission and wasn't told where to pick them up, resulting in spending 90% of intermission in a lineup (pick up your pre-orders at coat check). Floor staff was great though.

This is one of the most rundown life theater I ever visited, entrance to this place is appalling, getting in and out from the parking lot is going like going through Torture Chamber. Sits are cramped and ambient atmosphere is depressing. The only reason I visit this place are Broadway shows.

I think it is contributing to my love of art addiction. The performance by all great ballerina just made it perfect since the director did a great job of putting the whole thing together.

Beautiful place but when looking for your seat there is nothing written outside the auditorium. So if it is the first time, you will be guessing where to go. We found our seats but there were people that were walking around looking for theirs.

Went to see the phantom of the opera. This building is so beautiful, go early to look at the art which is always changing. Not all the bars were open and huge line ups for the washroom during the intermission. Parking onsite was $7 in the surface lot but the train station is steps away. Been here for many occasions and its always nice.

Been here for several shows over the years and the Jubilee is the best place to see a musical production in the city. Acoustics are excellent and seating is comfortable. Lots of parking and the C train station is right there.

I love seeing different shows here but they gotta figure something out with the "bar" situation between acts if you gotta pee and get a beer you really have to pick one other than that its a beautiful place

I attend SAJA for Calgary Opera. Consistently professional staff with a warm and inviting atmosphere. Service at drink and snack bars could be faster, but is acceptable. It would be great if line queues could be better managed.

One of the nicest, large venues in the city. I've attended two separate times for the Alberta Ballet's Nutcracker, and for SAIT Convocation 2018. Both times were very pleasant. The seating is comfy, the staff/ushers are friendly, and the sound is fantastic for live performances.

One of the best places in the city for live entertainment! There really isn't a bad seat in the house, everyone that works there is very friendly. Make sure to give yourself enough time to park though, getting in to park, and getting out after a show is a little hectic.

Excellent theater and a awesome venue for most types of shows. Great seating arrangements and acoustics. Chairs are not the most comfortable but staggered nicely and views are excellent, even way up back.

Super convenient to transit to via the CTrain. If you're driving parking is plentiful, albeit a bit of a congested mess - don't be surprised if you sit in a lineup of cars trying to get out for 20 minutes.
