RUDE. Absolutely unhelpful when dealing with insurance claims.
Been waiting for over a month for them to get back to the insurance company...nobody there to answer the phone
Why USAA deal with companies like this one. There isnt a zero star. That I can give. Unhelpful. USAA PLEASE READ REVEWS AND STOP HIRING SUB- CONTRACTING THIS COMPANY OR ELSE MY BUSINESS WILL GO TO OTHER INSURANCE COMPANY.
Truly awful. I can t understand why USAA would ever work with these jokes
Trash company. You can't get through to them. Been a nightmare dealing with them through usaa. If I could give zero stars, I would. I wish usaa would not use them again.
Adding my frustration at not having anyone pick up the phone when calling. That's one of the easiest customer services to fix!
I was contacted within hours of submitting my claim by my appraiser who was there the same day. Appraiser took the time to explain the process leaving me with all my questions answered. Fast, convenient, thorough :)
Ambro Adjustment's adjuster stood in my driveway and talked to Brad's Auto Reconditioning my correction shop and told them he new they would be a supplement to the original claim and told Brad's not to worry that the supplementals would be covered. Since that time, the total opposite is happening, they are refusing to cover portions of my claim repairs and being very rude to Brad's informing them to bill me for the balance. USAA is my insurance company that instead of spending money on advertising during NFL games they should spend money vetting their Adjustment companies. I believe its because i had multiple claims for hail damage that occurred on June 28, 2020. I guess paying USAA Insurance polivies since the early 1980's was a mistake. Brad's delt with Liberty Mutual, Gieco, and other insurance companies without issues. Time to leave USAA banking and insurance for a competitor.
Ambro Adjustment- BEWARE this company is a joke, had a car looked at by their adjuster Dan Hickey and he must know better than mechanics with over 40 years experience that road tested car, put on lift examined entire car that had all service records, full service history, did not need anything. Everything worked, did not need a single thing. No check engine light, no mechanical defects, no leaks, brand new tire less than 3 months old, not a spec of rust. A car I would considered excellent condition as well as the mechanics that evaluated car prior to me purchasing. I had looked at over 10 cars prior to purchasing this one, this car was by far best I looked at.
After the accident Mr Hickey decided to rate the car a "fair" condition. According to KBB, NADA and any other vehicle appraisal company "a "good" vehicle will need some reconditioning to be sold at retail. Most consumer owned vehicles fall into this category. Fair condition means that the vehicle has some mechanical or cosmetic defects and needs servicing but is still in reasonable running condition."
The company really needs to train their adjusters on the difference in fair versus good condition. If I could have put zero stars I would have.
If this is the company the insurance company assigns request another.
They will low ball you and have no clue what they are even looking at.
Amazing that profesional mechanics went all through car and considered it excellent condition and Dan Hickey can simply look at car and give it a "fair" rating.
If I could give zero stars I would. Came out almost two weeks ago to check my car while I was at work. Haven t heard a single word from them so decided to have my insurance call them 3 days ago. They said they would tu to get it to us the next day.... three days later I call again. This one they say he appraiser wants able to find me vehicle and tried three times yet nobody called me once saying they had trouble finding it even though it was in the exact spot I told him it would be in. Here we are almost on two weeks and nothing. If tor insurance wants to send them out to you fight them. Not worth the stress.
I normally do not take the time to post negative reviews on companies because they do not even deserve my time. This company takes the cake though. They have taken so much of my time and gave me extra worry during my claims process with my insurance company.
For starters, they hardly ever pick up the phone when you call ambro directly. All of the phone representatives that I came across during my process couldn't seem to help me with anything. They kept telling me I had to talk to a sepecific person in order to do anything. This certain individual that was in charge of my never picks up her phone either.
My first interaction with her was her telling me she couldn't travel to my wife's work where the car was in order to appraise it and was pretty rude about it. So I accommodated her and dropped it off at the collision repair center closer for her convienence. She was able to appraise it the next day! Awesome right? In all honesty that was the only thing that went right for me with Ambro. The shop found supplemental damage the following week on Tuesday. They submitted the request to ambro on that day as well. I was made aware that ambro had up to three days to approve or deny it. So what do they do? Take three days to go out and look at the vehicle and then submits an approval for the supplement on Saturday. So it took them 4 days when they had 3 by contract to approve or deny the supplement. With that said, the shop is closed on Sat and Sun so the first day they could work on it was Monday.
This put me in a bind as far as the rental car goes because the appraiser from ambro put 6 calendar days for the fix on the form. Being that they couldn't start working it until Monday burns two days.
The biggest issue I had with them is little to no communication. They were awful with picking up their phones and calling you back when leaving voicemails. I left a total of 6 voicemails for ambro and my adjuster together. One of which was returned. They never called me for any changes or additional information which is bull. Everyone that is involved in customer service knows that communication is key.
Zero communication..I wish I could give this company zero stars. I will strive to avoid this company like the plague from here on out.
I saw nothing but bad reviews prior to my experience but I am also the type of person that doesn't trust reviews fully.
With that said, no one has to trust my review but just head my warning. This company is awful and doesn't help you worth a damn. Please advise.... use someone else.
