Still a great place to go for a good day of entertainment.
Very nice place to see our children graduate. Always a great atmosphere.
I have always enjoyed the show at the jubilee, beautiful facility.
Great place to see a stage show. Easy to get too and both the parking and the main entrance were big enough to allow for a stress free experience. Some places are not as accommodating leaving you circling over and over looking for parking and then standing in cramped slow moving lines trying to gain entry. The Jubilee Auditorium was quite the opposite and the c-train comes right there as well so you don't even need to drive there if you don't want. We had a great time and will be doing it again for sure. I highly recommend it.
Watch come from away here. It was awesome! The drink lines are ridiculously long though and they need faster bartenders or more bartenders.
The jube is a great place for events the only thing I don't like about the jube and that's just the design of the building is trying to exit you're funnier than two an exit on each side and it's horrible to get out and this is horrible to think but if there's ever an emergency a lot of people are not going to make it out of there I know that's horrible I said that.
and the second component is exiting the parking lot after an event we've been to two concerts there and after sitting in the parking lot for half an hour some lot attendant comes out and open the second gate which basically finals traffic to the same road run again it's the age and construction and design layout but jube if you're listening or jube admin you need to do a better job of funneling people out after an event.
Elegant auditorium and great shows throughout the year. I would like to see one addition: small balconies attached to the walls, left and right from the podium.
Terrible venue. Uncomfortable seats and you can't bring your drinks in. Getting in and out of the parking lot is a nightmare.
The front seats are a little low but if you sit a little further back you get a better view. We saw the nut cracker here and it was a very good venue. Be prepared to pay more for a beer here than at the saddledome.
Awesome place to see a concert or show. Get there early though as parking can be tough. It is all paid parking as well.
This place is gnarly!! Such a cool stage and such fantastic people helping out there.
Cool place with lots of music auditions and other stuff going on. Not the easiest place to navigate to so 4 stars, but alright overall.
Great venue and no lineups when paying for parking as there s always 1 or 2 attendants in addition to the pay machines.
I ve been to tons of shows! Such a great experience! Can t wait to whichever show I see next!
The sound quality is great and the seats are fairly comfortable. The stage is a nice height so that your vision isn't blocked by people in the seats ahead of you. The location has quite a bit of parking but the trip out afterwards can take some time due to congestion.
Excited sound they gave you when Matt played there
Great venue. The parking experience for the balet was exceptional. I have never parked with such ease and precision. I was running late and had guidance from highly motivated 'energetic' parking attendants that kept traffic flowing on the way in and out.
This is great for graduations and entertainment clean and the C-Train is right accross the street!
The theater seats are old and uncomfortable but the space itself is great.
Beautiful auditorium and lovely ballet performance slightly overpriced
Well staffed, always a good location for concerts and operas, even rock concerts! Plenty of parking at the Jube and also below at Riley Park
My first (and last time so far) I was there, I went to see a concert brought from the US on tour, but performed by Calgary's orchestra. I was looking forward to it and am very familiar with the music. I was disappointed. It seems like the Calgary orchestra performing is in need of better musicians. I kept hearing mistakes here and there and it didn't seem like they had properly learned how to play for the concert before going on stage. I am not a musician like my husband who can hear mistakes where I don't notice and I was able to spot mistakes. Most people were too exited when they posted reviews about the show, but some of us did notice the poor performance of the Calgary orchestra. Major disappointment. It will take a lot to get back in my good graces.
I am planning to go back, but this time, to see an on-tour orchestra that does not let others play in their stead. I've heard them before in another town so I know I won't be disappointed.
I have been here twice to watch shows. Parkin around it in decent and convenient. The seating inside is well done.
Attended Video Games Live concert with family. Auditorium is laid out well and good acoustics throughout the building.
Hallmark of the Calgary Arts Scene. Seats are comfortable. Accoustics are great. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Went to see Jesse Cooke, Carol Burnett, Kenny G, The acoustics for music in this theatre is superb. You'll enjoy everything you see.
Best experience. I went to see the Illusionists. A little bit pricy but nothing I can't afford.
Great facility, however when we went the service was less than stellar. There were no parking attendants to guide the parking because they had not sorted the contract. Then the bartenders were not prepared for people at the bar 30min prior to the show. Disappointing overall. The show itself was amazing.
Getting out after an event is a pain, like any event venue, but this is a great place to see a show! They even let you take your drinks into the theater now :)
Wish the ushers could control the crowd better, a lot of people rushed the stage. Sure glad I didn't pay $$$ for main floor.
Lord of the Rings !! Such a great performance by Calgary Philharmonic.
Motown: Act II was stronger than Act I but overall pretty good.
Seats are too small, auditoriums are super outdated and acoustics aren't the greatest.
Went here to watch the Nutcracker with Mom and a friend and it was lovely. The show was great, parking was almost crazy but manage to find a spot. Over all experience was awesome. Would definitely recommend watching plays, ballets and hear the orchestra.
Nice seats, and the dressing rooms were comfortable to use.
Wonderful acoustics and views, terrific caliber of performances.
Great venue, Lots of parking. Nearly every seat in the house is great
