The service staff are great to deal with. It s always good to see a Service Manager step up to take on customers and stay a little later then the rest to make sure everyone is taken care of.
Everytime I go in to southbank for any repairs I'm greeted well and taken care of beyond all expectations. I've had the joy of meeting/communicating with Dustin in service for a number of repairs and he is great, super friendly and willing to help in any way he can. I highly recommend Southbank dodge for all service and if you're looking to purchase a vehicle

To the driver of the service shuttle . Dodge caravan plate starting with BYP.... Could you please be more careful while driving? You cut me off this morning. I already called in about this. But please consider the fact that is -27 outside . Tires don't have the same grip on the asphalt at this temperatures.

Not impressed with the service I received.
Worst car buying experience ever. They played the good cop bad cop thing on me. The first salesman promises you everything you want giving you top dollar for your trade and a huge rebate on the asking price. Then manager comes in and tells you you're a freaking idiot for asking a reasonable amount of money for your trade! STAY AWAY! They use all kinds of high pressure tactics on you and all kinds of games like, bouncing you from one salesman or Chrysler rep to the next, asking you to sign a sheet with a price you will never get to seal the deal or asking you for your credit card to pretend that will put pressure on the manager to give you a deal. But all the time they are laughing in your back.
Will not discuss details of a new vehicle with you until you give them full contact information. Then they agreed to match a price of the vehicle I had mostly decided on at another dealership. After an hour of my time they came in $10000 over. AND then 3 of their sales people contacted me within the next 24 hours. If you are shopping with them definitely make up a phone number and address.
The experience of buying our vechicles was a good one we felt comfortable and they were easy to talk to. Charley the salesman was very knowledgeable and showed us different packages which came with the vehicles which we bought. I am the type of person who does not like car shopping but Charlie and Paul made our experience comfortable. I like my truck very much and my wife really likes here cherokkee.

Walked in today to look at some jeep wranglers with the whole family. A sales person approached us and asked us some questions. We told him we're interested in 2017 jeeps and then he asked us to sit down and give him some contact information. My wife said we would just like to look at the vehicles at this point. The salesman responds with "well there are a bunch outside you can go look at by yourself and walked away". Unbelieveable! Take a cue from other dealers and treat your customer with respect, especially when they're about to drop 40K on vehicle. We'll be taking our business to one of the other jeep dealerships.
I'm surprised they stayed up late to serve me. They have a convenient location and a large lot of economically priced cars. They treat you better than other dealerships. Make sure you pay attention to what they say so you'll know exactly what's going on. Regardless they are willing to negotiate and are looking to help you out. Be prepared to ask questions so fo your homework before coming in.
Salesman lied to us on many occasion and service counter people don't have your concerns as their priority
I was called to go in on saterday to go check out what they were saying was a verry agresif trade in for my car ... wen I got there I checked out a used Jeep I was interested in buying the sales manager did not want to give me a price for my car unless I made a deal that I was buying the jeep. Then gives me the price of the jeep with all taxes and fees. this hade me interested... he comes back 15 minutes later with the same price saying that that's with no taxes and fees... he was verry rude by rolling his eyes at me and not friendly what so ever ... what a waist of my time I will never buy a car here agen not my first time being treated like this at this location
Finally had a visit to southbank that went smoothly ! The younger advisor who helped me was professional, knowledgeable and seemed to be passionate about his job. I've had multiple bad servic experiences here in the past but one thing I'll say is that Dilawri is 10x worse and all stealerships in general are crooks. So I give Southbank 4stars for not trying to rip me off today lol

If you want real talk, go see Clayton. Period. Went in, having a good idea of what I wanted. Left about 20 min later, all done, My Jeep will be ready in a couple of days!!! Monthly payment close to within 5 bucks of the low end of what I could afford. I had been looking around for about 3 wks and became appalled at the scams and dishonesty of the used car business locally!! And no, I'm not crawling out from under a rock and have been screwed before by both dealerships and pop up corners shops, including in Toronto. But buyer beware, Ottawa has gotten really bad for small shop scams and advertising.
Will get family and friends to go pay Clayton a visit, but not telling the ex wife.
So I was at southbank because I needed an oil change since I bought my car here and it was part of the deal with the free tires for life. Anyways long story short "express lane" not so much I waited 1 hour to get my oil change on top of not knowing on the deal that my "tires for life" deal was a scam. I need to basically keep my tires in a good condition for me to actually get a new set of tires. Oh and did I mention you don't get winter you get all freaking season. So honestly if you want to shop here please have at it just remember not only I had a bad experience but so did my husband.
Was recommended by a friend to check this dealership out when we were car shopping. We had an amazing experience from the time we first met our sales rep to a few days later when we purchased the car. Staff was VERY friendly and professional. They did not pressure us at all to buy a car, they answered all our questions on site, and ones he wasn t 100 percent sure about, he confirmed them in a very timely matter. Once we purchased the vehicle, the accounting staff was very helpful and professional as well. Very seamless from start to finish and super friendly staff all around. HIGHLY recommend even if you are just in the neighbourhood and shopping around. They are straight forward and did not beat around the bush.

Used to be happy with service at Southbank Dodge now can't get in to check Jeep due to engine trouble as they care more about the rush for winter tire replacement. Will be going elsewhere for new vehicle.
My 2013 Ram went in for 2 recalls and warranty check up for rust. I call in afternoon to follow up and find out my truck was damaged and that the driver of it drove into another truck. Not impressed and very disappointed I had to call to even find out the status of the vehicle. Follow up needs to improve none then less I should of been phoned the moment it happened. I m giving a 3 star review because they made my truck look like new (show room condition) when I picked it up. The service manager assured me that in January the paint damage and dent will be repaired.

We were treated with respectfully by Sales Consultant Moe Kadura . The service department was the driving force initially as they had serviced our Jeep previously and always been great. We had an appointment confirmed for a test drive and when we arrived there they told us that they didn t have the car there! They are a liar! And the manager came to try to sell his used car to us! How they like to sell a car acting like that. Try another dealer before to go there! They don t know how to be nice and at least tells the true!
South bank has greatly improved the service compared to a year ago. Now in and get service done no long delays unless major problems

Unfortunately service staff at South Bank don t feel the need to follow their own rules. Two of the three staff on the floor weren t wearing masks, the third had his down below his nose. Pretty awful and uncomfortable experience and showed a disregard for client safety.

When I bought my Jeep this dealer accidentally switched the left and right signal lights for the trailer hookup. You can imagine the danger this caused when towing a trailer. When I took it back to the dealership to fix they blamed my trailer and asked me to take it to a trailer shop. I took my Jeep to another dealer who confirmed that it was indeed the jeep that was miswired. I'm very disappointed at the incompetence and the danger this mistake caused.
We had a good experience with Southbank, and are very happy with the 2016 car we bought. We were originally seeking a different car, which was not available. The salesman, Kyle McTaggart recommended one which was even better. He spent a lot of time getting us comfortable with the features which are very different from our 10-year old car. We were also happy with Southbank's agreement to replace the windshield and tires. Financial arrangements were easy, and agreeable, even though we refused all the extra offers of warranties, etc..
Kyle was pleasant to deal with. He listened to what we were looking for and we were able to get a deal that was a win for everyone at the end. I would recommend dealing with Kyle.

Getting great service from service department manager, Peter Lafrance, but the workmanship from those doing the Detailing his not where it should be. I usually change my own winter tires because I make sure that they are properly cleaned before they are stored, but Peter offered the service because SouthBank wants customers to be extremely satisfied, but was disappointed with the condition of the way my tires where given back to me. Next time i would suggest at least making sure the big of the dirt is removed before giving it back to customer.

Mechanic - Richard Gagnon (worst experience ever!)
Our Jeep was brought in for a "recall" of the cross member - the day before I called to confirm as I figured it never hurts to make sure I have the right times etc., but also to verify the work to be done. The weeks leading up to the repair, they (Southbank Dodge Chrysler Jeep) said it was a "recall" job; however, this particular day they decided to correct me and say it was a "warranty" job and I matter of fact told them that THEY had been calling it a recall EVERY TIME prior and now they are saying it was a "warranty". That was fine.
Richard Gagnon was the individual who was assigned to our vehicle.
The day after on route to work the Electronic Stability Control light goes on. We check the manual and try to troubleshoot it at work. After failed attempts and seeing that this happened ONLY after having brought it in for a "warranty" job - it was frustrating. Frustrating knowing that the next day as we started our car our wheel was more left than straight. Thanks for the heads up or any note of that "left alignment".
I brought the car in as I think it bizarre but more so frustrating I bring my car in and find that its worst off than before.
In initial discussions - the had confirmed a cross member replacement and alignment - did not get an alignment when they CONFIRMED it with me.
Bring it in - turns out (lucky me) Richard Gagnon would be working on my car again.
In the midst of my conference I get a phone call where I am put on hold, hung up on and then on hold and then hung up on before finally speaking with Richard who then tells me that an additional 500$ will be needed to replace the rear bushings...
Frustrated (more than ever) and annoyed that it took way too long to get a hold of Richard I inform them to NOT do any more work and that I would come and get my car.
Arriving at the dealership, I waited nearly 40 minutes for Richard. He was paged numerous times, his colleagues could not even account for his whereabouts AND on top of that, it seems my assigned mechanic has a notoriety for just disappearing. The couldn't find the papers for my vehicle as by one of the fellow mechanics thoughts on Richard, he doesn't care about paperwork and leaves them around like its nothing. I wasted an afternoon waiting for him - and now am left to go to another mechanic as I have lost all faith in Southbank Dodge.
The only pleasant thing that came from this experience is the kind front of the line ladies who tried to assist me while I was there and tried to find someone who could help me.
Once Richard was located - he helped another client EVEN after he was told to help me for the amount of time I was left standing stranded there waiting for him. He was rude and unprofessional.

This was not the first time we purchased a new vehicle from the Southbank dealership. We reluctantly needed to replace our 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee which we loved to drive. We d always been satisfied with that purchase from Southbank and the years of service they provided on that vehicle.
So in this case, we came in knowing we wanted to purchase a 2019 Jeep Cherokee and all the features we desired, and the all-in price we were willing to spend. We sat down with Kyle McTaggart and he took it from there. Kyle offered us exactly what we were looking for without trying to upsell extras. He took us for a test drive highlighting the features that were different from what we might've been accustomed to in the Grand Cherokee. Kyle then moved the sales process along very quickly. Kyle made himself available to answer all our questions after the sale was completed and again a few days later when we picked up the new vehicle, and checked in again with us a couple of weeks later after the close. Kyle made it simple, straightforward, and hassle free.

I had a great experience here with Brandon. I had trouble with several other dealers, with no luck finding a truck. I have a good buddy who works with dodge and he beats the trouble I was having. He sent me to Brandon, with the best deal I had gotten from anyone. Everyone was very professional and helpful. Great atmosphere in the dealership. Hasan dealt with my trade/convenience deal selling my car and did a fantastic job. If I had any concerns or questions, he was always there to help. Loved it. I ought my truck at Southbank because I wasn't belittled, talked down to or run around. I'm an auto mechanic and a mechanical engineer, so I know my way around vehicles; at Southbank, regardless if they know my knowledge of vehicles or not, I'm treated like a valued customer. It is a pleasure to have it serviced there too! I live in Orleans, but it is worth the commute!
Dealt with a really nice guy named John that completely wasted an hour and a half of my life. I was crystal clear on the price point I needed to be at, based on other like models sold in the city. I even said that if he wasn't going to be able to get remotely close to that price not to waste my time. He encouraged me to come in. They were at $3500 more than my offer and kept saying "give me another offer" without ever budging from their starting price. John do yourself and the next guy a favour and tell them if you can't make it happen.
Resp- I can forward you a message sent prior to leaving my house that directly addresses weather I am way off or not, to which he responds encouraging me to come in. There was no confusion or misunderstanding.
Hi. Things were handled properly and I was satisfied with the work done on my car before the warranty expires. Having said that, I was more than surprised with the quotation for front and rear brakes. One thousand dollars over other quotations.
The service technician who served me was excellent. However, I booked my appointment the week before to get a recall actioned, only to find out when I returned to pick up my car that the recall could not be done because the part was not in stock. Now I will have to return again to get it fixed. Very disappointing.

Service garage is horrible. Consistently does not repair issues. Parts regularly backordered for months. Kind of place you call to tell them problem they book appointment then when you check vehicle in inform you they can't fix without looking because they don't have parts. Can't say that before I bring it in?

Came in last week with my wife to look for a new or used dodge caravan. Was greeted by the sales person Brian who took the time and answered all of our questions. He provided us with various options which in the end, we purchased a 2017 caravan which we are extremely happy. Paul from finance provided us all options in terms of finance and warranties, was extremely friendly. As well answered all of our questions. I have to say, myself and my wife are extremely happy with the service we received at Southbank Dodge, from Brian, Paul, the admins and the service technician (Guy). Will definitely shop there and bring my van for service there and will highly recommend to friends to shop there.

I've always liked going to Southbank Dodge dealership since I've moved to Ottawa from Alberta...Olds, AB Dodge dealership...to care for my Journey... the staff is always pleasant and they take the time to explain to me what's going on.
Great customer service, but we re a little pushy trying to get more money out of my pockets for unnecessary work on my vehicle. Took 9 hours to get just the breaks and rotors done. Other than that, car runs great now and fixed the issues.
I had a strong odour problem with the car. They found the source and took good care of it overall. I m also satisfied with the quality of service provided to me in checking the state of the vehicle in preparation for a long drive (which I made them aware of).

AC on 2 year old Pacifica Limited (fully loaded) broke down just before my week long camping trip. Dealership had a slot to take a look, but didn t have the parts for the warranty fix in stock (bad lick, but also bad planning given the heat waves we keep getting). Not offered a rental or loaner. Disappointed.

I had a wonderful experience with Southbank when I brought my car in for service this week. They took great care to ensure that i was overly impressed and when i picked up my Jeep, it looked brand new in and out. I have to mention how great the staff is from the shuttle driver, to the service staff (Dustin in particular who always sets me up) to the management staff. I'd recommend heading in if you'd like to set yourself up with a great vehicle; a thorough detailing; or simply need some advice and direction.

I had an incredible experience purchasing my new vehicle at Southbank Dodge Chrysler Jeep last week and dealing with Brandon Dallaire, who s an exceptional representative of this organization.
I was in absolute disbelief on how calm everybody was in this dealership and that I wasn t hassled at all or even pressured in buying a vehicle.
Brandon met all of my needs with my purchase and he went above and beyond in order to satisfy all of my needs.
On the day of delivery, Brandon introduced us to the service manager and he provided us with a tour of their service centre. Brandon also took the time to show us all of the features of our new vehicle and even setup all of the services (SiriusXM, Uconnect, pairing my mobile device).

I am not in your system because my husband is the one that has purchased the vehicule from Southbank, which will never happen again! I would suggest to anyone who wants a good and honest car buying experience to stay away from this place. He also called me and I explained that I wouldn't speak with him, he then decided to text me which for me is crossing a line especially after being told I wasn't interested in speaking with him.

Horrible sales and customer service. 3 issues.
First issue: Bought a 2017 caravan from them. My issue should end here, but I'll keep going. I paid for window tinting through the dealership as an extra. I was unaware of the tinting law in Quebec that restricts the tint darkness on the front lateral windows. The fnancial service manager, says to me "Don't put the darkest tint because of the law". He starts explaining the tint % and continues on by saying "I recommend the middle tint, and you'll be fine." Which is what I did.
Well, I got a ticket for 169$ and the tint must come off, or be lighter. I called the financial service manager to explain the situation. I request they pay for the ticket I got and correct the tint because I followed thier employee's recommendation. A manager calls me back, refuses to pay my ticket and wants to charge me to redo the tint job! UNACCEPTABLE! He explains that if police can't see inside, its a ticket. The financial service manager never said this, he only talked about the tint %. The manager continues on and says that I'm the one who insisted on the darkest tint, and that the financial service manager convinced me otherwise. I never insisted on a specific tint, just wanted a legal one. Why would I ask for something I just was informed is illegal? The manager then says to me "That's what the financial service manager told him, and he doesn't lie." Basically, implying that I'm the liar.
I'm going to Lebeau to fix the issue because they are aware of the laws, Southbank is guesstimating it. The clerk at Lebeau acctually said that in Quebec, the 2 front lateral windows must not have additional tint since the manufacture already has a slight legal tint in them. Anything additional is considered illegal. How can a dealership not know this is beyond me. Why they didn't tell me this upfront, I'm at a loss for words.
Second issue: I'm furious at them because of thier non actions to fix the issue. I tell the manager that I want to come pick up my summer tires stored there. He says it'll take a couple of days to locate and take them out of storage and that I'll get a call from them when the tires are ready to pick up.
Well, its been 7 days, and still no call. Are they expecting me to call every day to find out when I can pick up my tires? That's thier job. Where is thier sense of good customer service?
3rd issue: When I signed for the van, I took the 90 days no payment. Being paid by-weekly, I requested that the payment be the day after payday. We looked at the calendar to determine and settle on the payment dates.
That was not respected at all. They withdrew the money before payday!
Thier customer service is non-existant, the manager is clearly doing the wrong job and thier sales representative has a clear lack of knowledge.
This is my 2nd and LAST vehicle purchased from this place.
