I bought a 2013 Dodge Dart at Southbank. The salesman Robbie was awesome, super helpful and available. Highly recommend. Everyone from Robbie to the managers to the finance team was very accommodating and I'm still happy with the purchase, I've had no issues or anything come up with the car at all and Robbie even took the time to set up all the Bluetooth and phone connections for me at the time of pickup which was great.

My only negative was the surprise $999 admin fee they wanted to charge me at the time of purchase. They ended up waiving it in the end but I was not impressed when I found out. I didn't see anything about this on their website while researching beforehand and have since heard this isn't allowed in Ontario.

Overall a positive experience, and I'd definitely buy there again. Great selection of cars, and overall good staff ready to help

Having been visiting your site for quite awhile looking for a Jeep Wrangler one particular man I would always go to see. I cannot remember his name right now but he is a tall guy from Jamaica. He is so so very nice and very caring for one's needs. My whole issue was negative equity. But I did finally manage to work it into a Dodge Ram 2017 with 35 km. I love this truck and have never been a truck kinda person. The guy who handles finances in this Jamaican man's absence was the one who closed the deal. I did however send my buddy John Bay there who also bought a Dodge RAM from you guys and I thought that I was supposed to get $200 or something like that for a referral and am quite disappointed that you guys didn't live up to this. But all in all my own experience was okay.

I walked into Southbank Dodge on Friday, October 26th in hopes of speaking with a customer service representative. The dealership was about to close and so I agreed to return on Saturday. On Saturday, I received a call from a salesperson called Hassan while I was on enroute to the Southbank. Upon my arrival, Hassan saw me and introduced himself saying that he was prepared to help me find the right vehicle and to make the process run as smoothly as possible. I am on a tight budget and I also knew that there was a vehicle in their used lot that I was interested in. Hassan walked me through this sale as though I really mattered recognizing that I was nervous and concerned about purchasing a new vehicle on a budget. Hassan is a remarkable salesperson who took the time to answer all my questions and when I picked the vehicle up on October 31st, he was present and offered his support yet again. Hassan has advised me to come in anytime should I have any further questions and I feel as though he means it. I highly recommend Hassan and thank him for his patience and care.

Great sales team and this is our 3rd vehicle from this dealership. Was a bit disappointed with the condition the vehicle on delivery. It needed more attention and prep before delivery. Price was fair and met our needs.

First of the sales guy who helped me purchased my Jeep was amazing his name is Moe. Other than that, it was one of the worst experiences in my life.

Spent over $1000 for rust inhibitor that wasn't even applied to my jeep yet and no one ever notified me about anything.

After speaking with the Service manager and the GM they took really good care of my Jeep. Picked up my jeep and it looked brand new again. They even waxed my jeep and cleaned the brakes.

When time can to settle up the bill I assumed we had an account. A gentleman came to down from accounting and informed me they don t deal with 50 dollars every three months. Flipping his fingers at me giving me the bums rush. They only deal with customers that spend over a $1000 per month!!
Well I took out my credit card and paid my $560 bill right on the spot. First time in 50 years our company wasn t allowed to open up an account.
Well you won t have to worry about insulting this small potatoe again. I ll take my $50 bucks every three months and bring my business elsewhere.

Great service and friendly people to deal with. Dan O'Neil is a great service contact. Dealt with Dan with when I had my 2015 Cherokee.
Just purchased a new Grand Caravan January 9/19 and the Salesman I dealt with was Kyle and he is a real fine person. Not pushy or in your face like so many other sales people in other dealerships. Paul also in Finance was good to work with to finalise the purchase. I found the whole dealership top notch.

Beware, get everything in writing and get a copy. They will tell you what you wanna hear. Had to call 3x being told a Manager would return my call over a 2 week period and finally got a response after escalating it over email. Cant even get a Manager to return a call? It's easy to hide behind your phone to tell someone that what your sales rep and finance staff said weren't in writing so too bad. Their 'assurance' is going to cost me thousands in maintenance. So I would recommend going elsewhere to drop $36k. I'm currently escalating my complaint through Dodge directly.

She ran back and forth to meet our requests and answer all our questions. It the end we ended up with the perfect jeep for us. the drive gave me a different feel on the road. Thinking that there was something wrong with my vehicle i brought it in. One of the team members Tim M. took me for a drive to see what my concerns were, he made me understand what I was hearing and why.
He was very informed very understanding very efficient.
I honestly couldn t ask for better service.

I came to this dealership specifically to work with Mark Desjardins. I bought my truck from him, I ve referred him to a coworker who bought a truck from him, and now just purchased a Jeep from Mark, and frankly I wouldn t want to deal with any other salesperson when purchasing a vehicle. Mark will switch around his schedule without complaint to help a customer. He is never pushy with a sale and is probably the only car salesman I ve ever met that I can say always advocates for his client. All in all, as long as Mark is selling cars, I won t be buying a vehicle anywhere else.

Went here in 2013 shopping for a new vehicle (the Jeep Patriots were too small but that's neither here nor there). They insisted on writing down my name, address, and phone number when I entered the building in order to "get a discount" from the sale they were running. Other customers were doing so. I said no thanks, just looking. They said I had to be on the list to get the discount. I said, oh yeah that's nice.. and looked around the showroom and the lot anyway. They seemed put off by the fact I would not give my personal information out to a stranger as soon I walked in off the street. Very pushy and indeed curious attitude. I can't say I recommend the atmosphere at this dealership.

EDIT: I do not need a reason to leave a review, but if you want to know the reason, it is because I am reviewing businesses in my area that I have been to.

I m so very happy of what I have experienced with southbank, I got a very accommodating sales rep no other than Mr. Kyle Mctaggart.. I won t regret to refer him to my friends and to everyone he is very friendly and will assist you to whatever car you wanted, really two thumbs up, also thankful to their financial service manager Mr charbel Nakhle he really did he s best for the bank to approve me and got a good deal with the car I wanted..really I salute this two person..It s really an excellent experience dealing with them..to all who wanted to buy car just go to southbank and find this two gentlemen for sure you won t regret buying with them..thank you so much again..

Professional services but a bit expensive. I paid more than $700 this morning and one of the issues that I reported has not been addressed, I.e. vibration in brake pedal on brake application, particularly between 80 and 60 Km. I wonder if they dive test the vehicle before handing me the keys as I still feel it and will be ready to drive back there to have it checked.

On our first day visiting the dealership it was great service. Our dealer was new, but he was kind and tried to find us good cars (used) within our price range. But we wanted to shop around a bit, so he brought his manager over, and they said they could give us a deal that would "knock our socks off" we kindly declined and said we would contact them the following day after 1pm, giving them an hour notice to us showing up. They both were off for the day but said it would be no issue for them to come in.
When we contacted them, the dealer gave us a really hard time to get them to meet us, and then after waiting an hour and a half at a nearby coffee shop, we called it off and told them we would message them later in the week if we were still interested. Again, he promised us a great deal.

So he reached out to us the following day promising an "awesome deal" and asked when we could meet. We planned to meet the following morning.

When my boyfriend and I showed up at the designated time, he was still with a customer. So we got coffee and waited. When he was free he came over and said that the only price he could offer was the one listed online (above our price range) and could not lower it at all, since they were losing money on it as is. After speaking with my brother (who also sells cars) we asked for a lower price, with no added payments (dealership add ons etc) and he brought his manager over. His manager was different than the one we spoke with on the first day, and he gave us the same story the dealer gave us - they couldn't lower it. And then he added that someone else was coming in to buy it that day so they didn't need our service. He was very rude, and would not let me get a word in to ask questions or to simply say no.

We ended up walking out and buying at a different dealership.

Buyer beware. Dealership's practice are illegal, and in conflict with the OMVIC (Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council) and the MVDA (Motor Vehicle Dealers Act). By law, the MVDA requires that any advertised price include ALL fees and charges the dealer intends to collect, including freight, admin, levies, etc, excluding tax and levies.

Do not get caught by surprise fees, or negotiations where fees are removed. These practices are illegal.

Camper van delivered by CAA tow truck after power steering failed. Staff were very courteous, & I felt price was reasonable, and all work done seems good, but it took 9 days, not counting the weekend before work was completed. Fortunately, I had no plans to use the camper so I did not press the issue but if it had taken that long to fix it while I was traveling, it would have been a big problem.

I was scheduled for a winter tire change and oil change, simple right? Well i arrived 15 minutes ahead of time (booked appointment 2 weeks prior). Waited 2 hours. When i finally got my car back, they didn t return my hubcaps ( in fact the lost them), didn t install a new next oil change sticker and my lock-nuts were strewn on my passenger seat outside of it s container.

Felt like the technician/ mechanic simply didn t care. Rush my job, even though it took 2 hours. Had to argue that I had hubcaps and the garage- to their credit got my new ones.

Just disappointed in all.

We had a great experience to purchase our new van. Our sales rep (Armando) was laid-back and super helpful, no pressuring or probing questions that made us uncomfortable. He took the time to lay out all our options and didn't try to keep the prices as a secret (like many do). The manager that we dealt with to close the deal (Paul) was very accommodating and really did everything he could to answer our many questions. We will absolutely return for any future purchases.

Worst dealership ever, all the sales representatives are all snakes. Bought a used vehicle off them and had problems with it right away and they didn't want to help me one bit. Had a problem with the battery and they told me it had a lifetime warranty so I brought it and and they wanted to charge me for a battery test before they would swap the battery, so I just went else where and bought one myself. I do not recommend to go here AT ALL.

This place is convenient for me to get to and from work as it is right next to the Greenboro transit stop. Dan the service guy is excellent. Very considerate and never pushy. I have had too many issues to nam here with their service department. If not for Dan and the fact that it's convenient for me I would never go here.

Bought my first ever Dodge product and went with the 2016 Journey. Worst vehicle I have ever owned. In 2.5 years I have had to replace ball joints 3 times, alternator, serpentine belt, battery, motor mount, axle bearing, transmission. Still needs front strut replacement, wipers don't work in the cold (known issue with Dodge trucks). Unfortunately talking to service advisor, told straight up that he knew many of the issue are common and that they use cheap parts. At least he was honest. I was looking forward to a great experience and reasonable warranty, but pretty much nothing was covered under warranty and will have spent nearly $8000-10000 in repairs on a new vehicle that I still have to make payments on. Afraid Dodge will not be having me as a returning customer.

I shopped around to most of the Dodge dealerships in Ottawa when buying my new van. While I generally dislike shopping for vehicles I found the experience at Southbank to be friendly and easy going and not just with sales rep, but also with the sales manager and finance guy. They clearly listened to me and honestly responded rather than give me the kind of high pressure tactics that are typical of car dealerships. I feel like I got a fair deal and would strongly recommend them to others.

Recently purchased a car online from south bank dodge. Fell in love with the vehicle and they were very approachable and eager to sell. Obviously was nervous at purchasing a vehicle without seeing it in person and having it shipped to another province but thought they would be good to deal with and accommodating in the process. unfortunately after we agreed on a price and they had my deposit in their hands they were no longer helpful and were actually quite difficult to get ahold of. When it came to shipping there was a lack of communication and it was well over a week late getting here than what they said it would be. I understand that delays happen but they made no effort to keep me up to date. I assumed that the car would be cleaned up and detailed before sending it but it was filthy when it arrived...musty smell, stained seats, coffee cups in the back seat. When I contacted them regarding this they said they would get back to me about arranging a service for it to be cleaned up, that was five days ago now and I have yet to hear back. This has been a very frustrating experience. I expected that they would act like professionals, keep me up to date and be available to answer all my questions. Very disappointed with my experience, it is a beautiful vehicle but they need to work on their customer services skills if they expect to maintain their customers and get good reviews.

Brought my dodge cummins in because I was having electrical issues, got diagnosed quickly,, found me a new ecm for a fair price,, did all the work as promised and even got me a rental truck at their cost when mine needed some tweaking after the ecm install. I dealt with Dean Martin, and also the service manager. Both top notch guys. They took good care of me,,, also fixed my abs issue I had for 3 months,,, highly recommend this place. Thanks again guys.

I visited Southbank with the hopes of signing a new Wrangler, having a very short turnaround time to pick it up. These guys were fantastic. The sales consultant, Robbie, did a great job negotiating a deal.
Car hunting can be very tiring, especially when everyone will do [almost] whatever it takes to have your business. It was a pleasure sitting with their Finance Manager, Hasan Wahbeh, and working with him on the lease approval.
I was very impressed with how quickly they managed to have the vehicle ready (the next day). I was mostly impressed with how professional, hardworking and humble Hasan is. He truly is an incredibly strong asset to the SouthBank team, and I will definitely be giving them (Hasan specifically) my business in the future.

I noticed the tire pressure had gone down a week after putting my summer tires on. When I called service, the staff listened attentively and offered several solutions to work with my schedule. I brought my vehicle in on Saturday around lunchtime as recommended and was greeted prompted and in a friendly manner. I waited for less than an hour and had a latte in the quiet lounge. Thank you!

Horrible experience!!! I took my car in for a cleaning and when i got it back, my snowbrush had been stolen and the vehicle was disgusting. The carpets were still soaked and a week later the vehicle smells so bad!!! There was an empty cup of coffee in a holder in the back, that had splashed all over and it was not cleaned. My seats still had coffee stains on them, they were not cleaned. I took pictures of the dirt in the console and in the door handles. Dirt above the rearview mirror never touched. They did wipe down my dash, but that left a greasy feel to it. Whatever they used on my windows inside, left a white film on them and after a cool morning, they were covered in water. On the inside!
So they kept my car for 6 hrs and made it so much more worse then it already was!

Horrible shopping experience. Had been shopping around for vehicles for quite some time. Southbank was one of the last dealerships we went into. Booked an appointment to see a specific car, arrived only to find out that they let an employee drive that car home - full well knowing that was the car we wanted to see!

We test drove a newer car that was outside of our budget. We told the salesperson that we weren't going to be able to afford that particular car, that we would come back tomorrow to see the other one, but they insisted on haggling over this one. We obliged. Our number came "close" to acceptable, but not quite. After some sleazy tactics on their behalf to try and get us to stay, we left the dealership.

The next day we upped our offer to what they wanted, then they turned around and told us it wasn't enough. Wasn't enough? We just met their full asking price!? We tried to speak with a sales manager via telephone that day, 3 different times, but nobody ever called us back after promises they would.

The salesman wouldn't return our calls either. When we did talk to someone they were always rude. We got the runaround for a full day. There are a few other things that I would love to mention herein, but I don't want this post to turn slanderous. I just want to give potential buyers an honest heads up. I've spoken with a few people since and this deems to be the norm as far as a buying experience at Southbank goes. Disappointing...

If this is how they treat you BEFORE you buy, imagine the runaround you will get AFTER you've purchased! Just sad really...

Owned my Dart for about 2.5 years. Car is great. Their service department is rubbish. There is nothing express about their express bay. Nothing is ever done in the time they say, but they tell you to sit and wait anyways. My experience constant with the 10 or so times I've been in. Their sales people seem to be lacking general knowledge on their range of vehicles as well, I converse with them every time I'm in and never impressed. Did I mention they have terrible service?
