The guy I dealt with Dean was pleasant but everyone else was miserable. I asked someone a question and I got an abrupt short answer. No one was willing to help me then Dean got off the phone and helped me. I was not pleased with my experience. The only reason I'm rating it 3 stars is cause Dean was pleasant.

Accommodating, friendly, professional, affordable....

Accommodating, friendly, professional, affordable. They were able to accommodate me at the last minute (burnt out break light). There was no hemming or hawing trying trying to fit me in when I called at the stroke of 8:30. They invited me to drive down and they took me right away. (I had to wait for others in the queue ahead of me, no biggie and expected.) Even more pleasant was the invoice. Southbank has my business from here on out.

It was a pleasure doing business today at Southbank. From the initial contact with Dean Martin when dropping off the car, to picking it up later, all was hamdled very professionally and politely. In fact i was so impressed with the end result of the detailing, that I have already booked an additional appointment for the detailing of my wife's car on the 29th.

Will not be shy to recommend Southbank for their attention To detail to my friends.

I went to Southbank to get a used car.
The initial experience was quite pleasant, but it sort of became frustrating from there.
Not alot was explained to us after we decided to go with the car. We wanted to know if we needed to come in before the pickup date to do paperwork, or if we could do it over the phone. They said we could do it over the phone, but the guy we dealt with was rude, dismissive and left out lots of info we needed! Once we came to pick up the car, (which was delayed last minute) we had to wait for over an hour, and then was passed off to someone new.
On the contract we noticed charges for things like the CarFax and to gas it up. It was filled with typos and was totally unprofessional. We also noticed a new scratch on the front after it was in the shop for final servicing.
All in all the experience sucked. We felt dismissed and like we were an inconvenience to they guys that helped us. I'm sure they are better to the customers that buy new, but as far as our experience goes with a used car, it was pretty bad.

We came to Southbank after having been to another local Dodge/Chrysler dealership and had had a bad experience. If we knew of the service we were going to receive at Southbank before hand we would have gone there first without question. Gustavo(Mister Gus) was amazing, hands down. We have never received better and friendlier service anywhere for anything. He is the reason why this has been the most pleasant sales experience we've ever had. We wouldn't think twice about going back for a future vehicle, service or referring our friends and families.
He went above and beyond our expectations.

Over a year ago I was at the Ottawa area FCA dealer show at CTC. All the dealers were present but one stood out well beyond the others I had spoken to and they were Southbank Dodge Chrysler.

Having had a number of new vehicle buying experiences over the years, I went to Southbank with certain expectations and was amazed at how their team exceeded them.

Thanks to Paul, Mike and Moe for going above and beyond making my buying experience the best ever. There is something to be said about paying attention to the finer details of a transaction and Southbank did not disappoint.

This was our 3rd purchase from Southbank - always a treat. Forthright, welcoming and efficient. Yesterday we dealt with Merv Williams (a member of the Internet Sales Team). We were immediately comfortable as he immediately puts one at ease. He had a vehicle parked ready for us to look at, which was exactly what we were looking for and ultimately purchased. Andrew Duncan took us through the final paperwork and was instrumental in savings us a fair amount of money in facilitating the transfer/extension of our extended warranty/roadside protection which had been attached to our last van (written off). We arrived at 1300hrs and returned at 1830hrs to collect our van, most efficient.

We were very pleased with the level of service provided by both men.

All good, well worth considering this dealership for your next purchase!

I had my car serviced a month ago for peace of mind and to change the front right pressure sensor. When I got my car back, both front tire pressure sensors were broken ( showing warning on the dashboard ). Oil change indicator was still showing warning even though oil was changed, Next oil change due was not updated. ( Not sure if they have actualIy changed the oil or not ), I was told that the it is normal and the warning indicator will go away in a week or so.

I drove the car for 3 weeks and the warning light from the dashboard did not go away so I called the service centre regarding this problem and Dan ( one of rep ) asked me to drop by on Saturday morning. I went there they Dan told me that they have adjusted the tire torque and indicator will go away in a week or so.

Again after driving the car for a week, I called Dan again and he asked me to come during the weekday and drop off the car because the mechanic who deals with car electronic does not work on weekend.( then why was I asked to come early morning on Saturday )/ Finally, when I picked up the warning went away. BUT now when I drive the car on the highway, the steering starts to shake, when I make the turn the front tires makes a clucking noise.

I had the worst experience with Southbank Dodge, after every service I'm seeing a new issue with the car. I would really appreciate if you take this matter seriously and resolve it as soon as possible. Thank you.

I could write a novel on my crappy experience at this place. Long story short though. Vehicle never done on time. Drop off for 9am appointment for oil change. Chasing them at 2 for my vehicle only to be told while we are busy and haven't gotten to it yet. Why have an appointment? Happened every single time. Multiple calls to upgrade my vehicle every year since purchased. Loaner cars not available when promised. Once they promised me a loaner due to never having my vehicle ready on time. When we arrived they had none so sent us to enterprise. Surprise! We had to pay for the rental. I told them flat out finally I would never come back. They are still calling me to get my vehicle in for service.

I went in and the Manager was so rude and racist. Very disrespectful and spiteful. I have never felt so insulted. This is my first time writing review because I was very hurt and I felt helpless and humiliated.

An apology from that manager could have been enough but I heard nothing back from Southbank Dodge. Stop stating unnecessary mission statements with no actions behind them because anyone can do that. True reflection lies in your actions behind your words, remember do not just sell cars but be responsible and caring humans behind the scene.

I really wanted to buy a car BUT the sales manager was arrogant, not interested in trying to conclude a deal, obviously did not believe I was a cash buyer just because my credit score is very low - I have been in Canada for 4 weeks... Kathy, Brian and others really helpful but again Khalil was the stumbling block. Good luck guys, your staff is hampered by your finance folks.

Changed from 5 stars and a completely happy customer to one star and a warning for others - see the original review below still. (I am going to leave it there because this new experience should not take away from the original reason I left the original review.) Dan is still the best service advisor they have there and we do still appreciate how they helped us out with our old van.

That being said, we purchased a new van last year with the Tires for Life promotion and bought the extra winter tire package because tires can get expensive and it was a good deal. We used the winter tires for the rest of last winter (Dec to March) and then this winter. I noticed that one tire was bald. Alignment was ok, no issue as to why this one tire should be down to the wear bars when the other three were fine. No problem, we have the tires for life.
Problem.
They will only guarantee the tires the vehicle comes with automatically, not the upsold winter tire package we bought and had put on at time of Delivery (since it was December). So our 15 month old vehicle with "tires for life" warranty needs a new tire. And we have to purchase it there to continue our end of the bargain, that we do all our maintenance there to keep our Tires for Life promotion valid. See the irony??
This was the second caravan we purchased here, my mother also purchased her last two caravans there and I serviced my old Caliber there until it died. Our family has been very loyal to not only Dodge but to Southbank and they have now taken away our faith in this dealer and our loyalty to them.

For the cost of ONE tire. You have lost two families - for life :)

What an unscrupulous sales team, it was not mentioned the winter tire package would not be included in the Tires for Life program, even when we stated we would buy the package BECAUSE they offered this program.
I work in a dealership myself so we would NEVER have purchased these tires there knowing that. I guess some dealerships aren't as honest as others. We would NEVER drive a customer away over the cost of one tire.

Love it. Fixed our van right away when another dealership (dodge orleans) couldn't figure out it was an outstanding software update issue. Dan O'Neil was fabulous. Kept me updated and made sure we were happy and our vehicle was actually repaired. Unfortunately, by this time the transmission had suffered catastrophic failure and ended up having to be repaired. But thanks to both him and Murray Mantz for taking such good care of us. The loaner vehicle was also a huge help when you have two different schools to pick your kids up from and live further away. Couldn't be happier!

During the purchase Kyle and Rami were great to deal with and did a few extras to make sure the sale went well. However that was the only positive from my purchase.

When I got in the vehicle it was quite obvious it had not been cleaned well. After getting home I found food and garbage stuck under the seats. They had agreed to install a backup camera but had a cheap aftermarket one installed that did not even work right for a whole day. When I asked to get it fixed they had little to no interest in making things right. I was told they are not comfortable giving me a loaner vehicle and they only seemed willing to do anything if it was convenient for them. When I left the vehicle had summer washer fluid which of course froze up really fast and the rearview mirror was installed in a position that would only allow me to look at my back seat since it was too close to the ceiling. After looking at my invoice I was also charged for the gas they put in the vehicle before I picked it up.

Some great staff at Southbank but management seems to not care about service or taking care of their customers. I would not go back.

Humm where to begin.. we took our Jeep for a oil change and to put our winter tires on in November. Decided to go with premium oil for the winter. Was told that there was some warranty work that needed to be done in the engine area to make another appointment as this will take a bit. Dropped off on Thurs for scheduled appointment turns out when we were on our way to pick up vehicle from them at end of day got a phone call saying it was not ready possibly Friday. Called and called to be put on hold off and on only to finally find out that it was not ready. Gave us a loaner for the next 5 days when we finally got vehicle back. Seems to run fine until we started getting the engine light go off and on then our backup camera screen would go off and off periodically Four years we had no issues and now this. Made appointment to have this check out they said its fixed something with the doors that made the engine light come on and radio is broken need a new one for 4000.00 plus or second hand for 1200. But engine light is fixed go to drive off lot engine light is on still on two days later, radio working fine but we have to take it back to see why engine light still on. Happy not one bit

I had visited this place many times to buy parts, after calling other dealers this one alway give me either same or better price for parts but today for service I had a horrible experience.
I had tire puncture and I was near Costco , so I went to Costco where the repair the puncture and inform me that the tire sensor pressure TPMS need to be change and they don t have one, so I bought one from south bank dodge Chrysler dealer for 65 C$+ tax, Costco centre inform me the the sensor will be programmed after 15 km, and I found that in the manual, but after 4 days of driving , the sign of low tire is still showing up, so I checked again with Costco and the said there machine can read the sensors but for other reason the computer of the car can t read the sensor and I have to check with the dealer, so I came back to south bank dealer , and the said they will check my car. After waiting they call me that while they are checking the pressure in the other tires the valve got broken, the person who was working was young non license non experience guy. He said the sensor need to be changed, I accept to pay for the other sensor to be changed even though it was broken by them, then he informed me that he is not licensed to change the tire sensor and it will take couple of hours, so I lift the car with them to repair it, 10 minute after leaving they call me to inform me that it will cost me 100 C$ for the part , and 25 C$ for labor, I told them that I bought the sensor 4 days befor for 65 c$ from them why it is 100, first she said may be you bought the wrong sensor, and when I argue with her she said give me a couple of minute and I will call you back. 15 minute later she called me that she misunderstand the part department and the price is 65 plus 25 labor plus tax.
I went to collect my car after couple of hours and the bill was 118, I argue with her that according to what we agree on it suppose to be 101.70. In reading the bill in detailed the charge me 72 for the part, 25 for labour 8 mis, she change the price to 65 after I show her my old bill, but she could not explain to me what is the 8 $ is, her supervisor came and said it is for us to get rid of the old part.
I was planning to buy my next car from them, but after I saw them stealing with out apology I will never trust them.

The salesman Hasan Wahbeh was extremely personable, patient and non pushy and answered all my questions.. and there were many. I was never made to feel rushed, even after the sale finalized he assured me that he was just a phone call away if I had further concerns/questions. Very comforting to know. I have purchased two vehicles from this dealer. The sales staff is awesome except for my f&I person she was a total joke. Paid for etching and told her it was never done I called her several times and she did nothing about it finally another f&I person got it for me within an hour it took almost a year to get that resolved. Now the agony of bringing your car in for service. What ever you do don't service your dodge here take it to another dealer. I'm a licensed mechanic myself and when id have issues id tell them how to replicate the issue and when it does it. They still keep your car for days only to tell you yeah no fault found. You have to make the effort and call them they won't call back. I've had issues I've been dealing with through this dealer for months and you have to put in all the effort they won't call you back. I've been in there for service several times and have never once had a good experience there. I wanted to contact dodge but couldn't really find a way to contact them. I even left a message to talk to the general manager and he never got back to me. Do yourselves a favor avoid this dealer go to a reputable dodge dealer. Once my pending job is over I never intend to go any where near this disappointment of a dealership.

Last year after numerous problems and their customer service member lying to our faces, we were promised it was an isolated incident and they would show us how great their service is. The FIRST time we had to have it back in for repair a week ago we were met with the same awful service, broken promises and lies. We ve emailed upper management and not heard back and it s been over a week. My husband and I were referred to Southbank by a family member who has dealt with the dealership on multiple occasions and has been very pleased with them. We were shopping for a SUV type vehicle as we had made a move and would be driving more "country" winter roads this year. Historically we had purchased Nissan products and had intended to do so again; however, when we comparison shopped between what the Jeep Cherokee Sport 4x4 had to offer vs Nissan Rogue the clear winner in our view was Jeep. Hands down.

He suggested that we come back in for a test drive and after rescheduling on him we did show up for our second appointment.

Unfortunately and to our surprise the managers sent us to Charles. I did show my disappointment towards this and made it clear we had an appointment. Charles was just not a fit for us and we were rather frustrated that we were sent to someone else when we were already comfortable with Merv. After crossing paths with Merv during the initial test drive process, I made it clear we would be happier going over our appointment with Merv, and we were happy to be re-directed back to him. Although at this point we were still "looking" at our options, my spouse was set on the "mom mobile"! The whole process was a little longer then expect (Financing aspect), particularly with a 3 year old in tow, but she enjoyed watching some shows on her Ipad, sitting in the vans tailgate seats!

After a few negotiations' and sometime spent with the financial aspects of our purchase we became the new owners of a 30th edition caravan! We look forward to the next decade with our van and all the bells and whistles it has for our enjoyment.

Thanks Merv for being honest, trust worthy and very customer service oriented, truly quality that helped us finalise our sale as fast as we had!

Spent $800 for an under coating that wasn't even ...

Spent $800 for an under coating that wasn't even completed. If you pay for a service in full, you should be notified if they didn't finish the job at the time you pay. Other issues with regards to coverage. We have small and large coverage on our truck but a coolant valve isn't covered. However if the engine blows as a result they are going to cover it.
How does this make any sense?
Part with installation aprox. $600.
What's the cost of a new engine?

I was going to buy another vehicle from them but am reconsidering at this point.

The day I posted this, all issues were addressed within the same day since my post. We received a loaner for the day we had to bring our truck back for the continuation of the under coating.

I was notified that the coolant valve and labour was going to be covered after all.
All in all, I'm pleased with how they rectified the issues I had; and their punctuality in doing so.
