First time buyer at Southbank and definately a great experience from start to finish. Started off with a smile and firm handshake from Robbie upon arrival and didnt take him long to find what we were looking for. A bit of a hiccup at pickup but Paul certainly took control of the situation and made what could have been a tricky situation run smooth. Later that evening a personal delivery from Robbie woth our new vehicle and handed over the keys to my new jeep cherokee. I want to thank both Robbie and Paul for great customer service. I would certainly recommend them as well as Southbank for your next purchase.
I signed up for a mail promotion offering a $200 gift card for test driving a vehicle. Went into the dealership then decided that I was not interested in buying a car. Since then, I have received 4 phone calls from them from 4 different salespeople trying to get me to trade in my car and buy, even after me telling them I was not interested -- each time. On the third call, I asked to be removed from their list. Just today, lo and behold -- I get another call, #4. Both third and fourth callers claimed to be new. Obviously, the message is not getting through or there is a breakdown occurring somewhere (which seems intentional if you ask me). Once I've asked to be removed from their calling list -- they had to do it BY LAW, and they are now in violation of it. I may need to escalate this to the CRTC -- they can be fined big time for this practice.
Very very friendly and will do anything in their power to get you a good deal AND approved for financing etc. Very knowledgeable in the finance area. Thanks for the piece of mind.
May I add that the guys in the service area (shop) are also great!

Very good service from Southbank on my 2010 chrysler 300C. Tim the service mechanic tower manager personally inspected my car after i explained the issue to him and diagnosed the problem and it was fixed properly the first time. Tim followed up with me on my car. Excellent company PR. Happy with the outcome.

This was my second vehicle purchase from southbank dodge first time (2009) was not a great experience. This time around however (2019) was very good. Sales staff were great, knowledgeable and helpful Thanks to Kyle and jomal my new ride is great. Would definitely purchase another vehicle from southbank dodge.

Really great buying experience. It has never been this simple and I am an easy going person. Khalid, Paul and Robbie went over and beyond. Some sales people treat you as though they are doing you a favour and will let you feel as though you are demanding more than you deserve. They gave me exactly what I wanted at my timing. This is going to sound weird because it's an old story but I've been meaning to write this review for a long time. I hope I have the right dealership. But one time I was near here and I locked my keys in my car. I went to see if they had the device to get in or if they knew someone I could call. They didn't have those things but 3 of the employees who were off work came and spent at least half an hour of their time helping me get into my car. They used all sorts of tactics, I was impressed. They even offered to drive me home. I was so impressed by their kindness, they really went above and beyond and clearly knew a few things about how cars work. Great people!!
Sales department is good, service department...not so much. I won't get into stories, simply buy your car here and find somewhere else to service it.
Staff extremely pleasant even though tire season was in full swing. Did not have to wait long & was on the road back home in an hour.
Will never use another dealer. Love the customer service & love the people. Jesse is awesome!

Needless to say, shopping for a new vehicle is not my most favourite thing on the planet, nor is it anywhere close to being within my knowledge of expertise. However, dealing with Christopher Howel at Southbank Dodge has completely changed my perspective! He immediately made me feel comfortable and set any fears or anxieties aside. He was extremely friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and was ready and willing to listen to all of my needs and concerns. I was made to feel like I was more than just a quick sale; he really took his time and made sure I was pleased with the end result. I ended up going with the Dodge Journey and, although I'm super excited about my purchase, I am even more so excited that I found a reliable, honest man who I can refer to all my friends and family!! Easiest experience buying a car I have ever had! The salesman and finance manager did everything they could to get me a car and it worked!
Not a customer but a family member of one. Your shuttle driver is extremely rude and I did not enjoy being a passenger in her shuttle. She failed to stop at stop signs and her driving caused me great stress.

I am a young Chef and I know my income might not be the same as a guy coming in to buy a too model Dodge Ram but that doesn't mean I should be treated like second class citizen....
In my restaurant all customers are treated like royalty! To neglect a customer due to there income is bad customer service!
The salesman was a nice fellow but there was no follow-up when I sent an e-mailed question. The finance officer was very efficient but a bit pushy. Perhaps he thought that anyone over the age of 50 is forgetful.
Maybe put on your Google card that the service centre is not open on Sundays. And when a customer calls on Saturday about an oil change don t tell them you re open on Sunday. Helps us customers from outside of Ottawa from driving an hour with kids. Clowns.

We had a great experience dealing with Clayton,Brian,Moe at southbank dodge.
I went in to have my winter tires put on, and was told that my water pump and tie rods needed to be replaced. I got talked in to replacing the water pump, but I didn't have time to replace the tie rods. A couple weeks later I went to follow-up with another mechanic and he said there was nothing the matter with them. I also went and had a safety check done somewhere else, and again was told that they were fine.
It may have just been a mistake on the dealer's part, but I got the feeling that there is too much pressure on the repair center sales people to earn money for them.
Absolutely terrible and bad experience...never have a straight answer... I will never go back there
After shopping around at 5 other Jeep dealers in Ottawa I was pleasantly surprised with my whole experience at SSouthbank.Not only was the staff top notch, I also got the vehicle I wanted in my budget. I'm very happy with my new Jeep Grand Cherokee. Can't say enough about Brian, Decio and Paul .Thank you Southbank!
I received several calls to see if I wanted to trade my 2014 van in, I told them they wouldn't want it it has to many KM. They insisted that they would make a deal. I even called up the sales person who helped me with the purchase of the van and asked him to get me a payment worked out, he called me back and gave me a payment I liked.
So I took some time out of my busy schedule and cleaned the van for 2 hours. Drove in there and sit down with the sales acociate and he comes back with one of the managers and says oh sorry I made a mistake I thought you said there was a 100000 km less. I'm sorry if you can even make a mistake like that you shouldn't be selling cars. After I called in and repeatedly went over the deal with accociate. It's just a scam to get you in there to get you to pay a higher price.

We have bought two cars from Southbank and the cars are great the service personnel are great.
So where s the issues? Southbank is close to the military base and all of us are always recommending them, yet there are zero service or parts deals for members of the military.
I am certain that I was told by my sales rep that we would have free storage on our winter wheels for the length of our posting to Ottawa, yet that is not the case and unfortunately it is not written into our sales agreement and that s on me. But come on, charging for storage and install, and then telling me there s no time to complete the recall that s out? That s bad business my friends. $140+ for a wheel change and storage is a bit high don t you think? I could have easily stored in my shed and done them myself, but I thought it was part of our 2015 deal but no such luck. Went back and bought a 2018 JL though, and still didn t complain. But I think it s time you paid us back a bit.
I was also disappointed I had to walk around the back to get my car, passing by a bunch of smoking employees swearing about this and that. Maybe drop it out front or park it near the front, or make a new smoking area nowhere near customers.
How about giving military personnel 15 or 20% off parts and service to show you appreciate what we do, and especially appreciate us being customers and bringing new customers in.
Again the personnel are great and Guy was especially helpful.

My appointment was supposed to be for detail as a cleanup for my new Jeep Cherokee purchased two weeks ago. None of this got completed and I didn't get contacted when my vehicle was ready. I got an extra key but that's it for 4 hours of waiting for nothing. I had to book another appointment for February 28th for the cleanup.
Kyle in sales and Ivan in finance were great. Felt no pressure to purchase. Would recommend Southbank and Kyle to anyone looking to buy a new or used car.

Thank you! Your terrible customer service saved me more than $3K! We made an appointment and dropped our minivan at 9 am to be serviced. We stated that we needed it by 4 pm to pick up our kids from daycare, were assured that would be no problem. By 1:30, no call, we had to call three times to get an update about what was going on, finally at 3:30, after we initiated another call, were told that it required 11 hours of work and would cost +$3,500 to get brakes and air conditioner fixed. THANKFULLY we needed it to get the kids and picked it up before work had started. We brought it to another garage had it fixed in a day no brake work needed just cleaned, AC was simply a plugged line, they fixed a couple more little things and charged us $620. Thanks again!

Sales staff here seemed rather amateur, and didn't work hard to try and get my purchase, one of the big reasons I did not buy.

The biggest reason I would recommend Southbank dodge ,Gustavo, Bruce, and Ala is because they made sure that the Compass was the right car for me. The dealership got to know me, and my needs. I gave them my budget and we stuck with it. Southbank Dodge is like a family. Every time you walk in the door, you are greeted with smiles and service. I do not recommend people to go to Southbank Dodge, I TELL them to go.
Good deal on the car but watchout for the Tire for Life or any other service like that. They obligate you to service there and you paid way more then a set of tires for your 4 years period it would take to wear them out. Also there is always something wrong with the vehicule. Make sure to always follow up with your advisor.. call them else they will deal with your vehicule when they have time.. if you bug them (unfortunately) its the only way things move. Be careful!!!

The inside of the place is a bit rough. However, they do care about their business and have decent reputation to maintain. The salespersons and maintenance staff are competent. Negotiation is rational and mutually respectful. The business can benefit from some renovations inside but I guess businesses exist to make profit first then provide comfortable experience second.
The service was great they were fast and professional . The car was ready on time and they called me to do the touch up . Great place to buy a car from . Ask for Troy he is very helpful !
I have been a customer at Southbank for years. Last week when I was out of town, my wife had a problem with the car and didn't know what to do. She emailed me and I told her to call Southbank. The service advisor booked her an appointment right away and she was able to bring the car in and got the issue resolved. Nice to have a service provider you can trust.
