Great career advice from the CEO and senior managers in the office. They started from the very early levels, learned as much as they could before progressing further. Their feedback is valuable for someone who aims to start from the bottom too.

I felt the positive vibe of the place when I walked into the building. Very busy atmosphere, lots of things going on. Normal pace for a business in central London.
The company has good values regarding progression and a no politics policy. People get promoted because of their results, not because of who they know.
An honest team. They invite you to see a bit more about the team before anyone makes a final decision. The interview process is transparent, you can ask what the different stages are and how they work. You don't have to stress or overprepare.
The interview exceeded my expectations. Instead of a classic Q&A I was surprised to attend to a live demo from the team. I saw what company does on a daily basis. The manager showed interest in me as a person, in what I hoped for the future. I found out the same day I was successful
One of the aspects I enjoy the most is the freedom and self management. Everyone has received full training and is in control of their responsibilities. There is always someone to talk to for advice and concerns. But the most important, people are not going to micro manage you. The team is also positive and social. We have a few out of work social events.
My first meeting with them was memorable for their welcome and the respect they showed to myself and other people present. The director honored us with his presence and gave a thorough presentation of the company.
100% commission based, I went to an interview today to see if these comments were true and they are. I asked the lady if it is purely commission based and they couldn't give me a straight answer - actually laughable.
Fast-paced, energetic, motivating environment. Good company culture based on team development and personal growth. Fun team, competitive and reliable. Great coaching and training on a daily basis.
This company has brought many benefits to my career. First of all the experience I obtained is valuable and can be used in other industries. I developed stronger communication skills and confidence when dealing with people, whether customers or colleagues.
When I was with Source Marketing Direct, I got so many skills like Presentation, self confidence, communication and positive thinking all the time. Working there is like one family, from the director to the last person. The director is always there to help you grow. If you like sales, why not try them you will never regret it.
Performance is really important. The team is also supportive when you need a hand. You re never truly on your own, you have coaches, mentors, colleagues and people who can show you a more efficient way to do your work.
The office atmosphere is amazing! The office is designed to make people at different levels interract, exchange know- how, train together and network. It's motivating to go in every day because every day something new happens. I also appreciate the fact that the managers give daily recognition to those who perform at their best and that motivates us all to push our limits.
I appreciate how the company promotes professional values and ethics in the work place. People progress based on their performance and results, not their "seniority". This gives room for fresh professionals to grow and develop at the speed that suits their hard work. This includes myself, as I am keen to learn and am not interested in getting stuck anywhere.
I went to an interview today and it went well. It didn't take a lot of time and I really liked the manager. Very friendly, he explained the different career prospects and I also got invited to the second interview to meet the team. Quite excited about it.
I love the fact we get to travel as often as we want to other cities and meet colleagues and managers from other branches. The campaign I'm on is still growing and I intend to grow with it. Networking is very important in our industry.
The office space is open and helps people converse with one another. Music is loud, so no one can easily eavesdrop on you, but also forces you to work on clear communication and open body language.
The interview itself was quite quick, I didn t have to wait much before meeting with the manager. I had a chance to see some graphs and numbers, attended a day with the team, saw them train new staff so I would get a better idea of how it goes.
The team is amazing and it's the reason why I come in excited every day and leave with a smile. I met great people who supported me from day one and helped me push myself. I know I can rely on them and hope they feel the same way too.
I was pretty nervous when I started because it was my first time in a foreign country but I found a lot of support and understanding. My English and my skills have significantly improved in the last 4 months
Eye opening regarding the ins and outs of business development and marketing strategies. They provided a full review and statistics regarding costs and efficiency and what solutions they could bring to the brands they worked with. As part of my interview process, I attented a demonstration of the team in action. I was of course quite suprised at first by the simplicity of it, but then realised it was only efficient because the team had developed such a positive culture and can do attitude. My first few days were challenging for sure, until I started to get the mindset and focused on educating myself and pushing my skills to the next level. I received a lot of support, even in my darkest moments. I can say for sure the managers and director never gave up on me. I am now proud to use that same experience to teach and help new team members grow their skills with us.
STAY THE HELL AWAY IN EVERY ASPECT !!!! Just got off the phone to an extremely rude, defensive woman that goes by the name of "Linzi" and supposedly runs this so called "amazing" company! Her rudeness was beyond belief!!! I would never even consider using your services due to the way you acted on the phone right now! You should not be in business! She even hung up on me mid conversation! very proffessional Linzi!
I used to work here as an events assistant and my time there was amazingly indescribable! The coaching and mentoring I received from the management team was great, super supportive. Being young, the environment was very vibrant and could definitely get anyone fired up for the day. Not your typical day job, and thats what makes it unique and amazing. Even if you don't get to management, the life lessons you learn in general will stick with you forever!
A company that promotes the team's results and gives recognition for a job well done. It's not just about the pride of doing great, but also knowing it is appreciated by both clients and managers.
Been working at Source marketing Direct for the past two and a half years and I just say that I have the most amzing colleagues, forward thinking organisation with an inspirational mission. It is a very exciting place to work right now. With a strong team environment growth is inevitable.
Very busy environment. I can easily understand how the HR team can be overwhelmed. Despite this, they were very friendly over the phone and the manager did not hesitate to give me more information once I got there in person. Wasn't hard to find.
No politics policy. It doesn t matter who you know or are friends with. It s your ability to provide results that matters. Even the newest person has a fair opportunity.
The company culture is great and people are motivated because of that. Management is proactive and involved in team development. There's an open door policy at all professional levels.
I like how the office environment evolves with the team. From new furniture to record boards and trophies. There is always something to improve on a weekly basis.
Very cosmopolitan team, reflects the spirit of London. It's the diversity, reinforced with equal opportunity, that makes the team strong and growing. Great values are represented with great people and actions.
The office is an inclusive and diverse place where everyone has a fair shot at an actual career in marketing and business development. The company culture and the system it uses are designed to encourage and sustain team and individual growth through training, incentives and opportunities.
The company is really dedicated to team development. It's target oriented, provides structured training and plenty of opportunities to develop in all key areas of business development
Been at the company since April and found a fantastic environment to work in. People are friendly and are really fun and energetic, hard working team who are very driven to achieve and a management team really invested in people's development and seeing the company goals are met. As someone who was looking to progress and develop skills was able to find that and make some great friends along the way. Best company I have worked at so far
It is very easy to get scared throughout the interview, because not everyone will get the role. They only want to work with people who have guts and are determined to work hard. The advantages are a full training program and mentorship to support your career.
I have worked with Source Marketing Direct on marketing campaigns in the UK, and have to say I've been thoroughly impressed with the ROI they are able to provide with their clients. If you're looking for a more personal, cost-effective form of marketing to your customers give them a bell! - AO.
I ve been with Source marketing direct for the past 3 months now and I have learned more in these few months the I have in 5 years in my previous role. The training programme and management team have empowered me so much to grow in being more confident and inspiring to others so I am super grateful for the opportunity I ve been given here! :)
I ve been working along side source marketing for over a year and half now, the time has flown by. I ve seen my self grow personally acquiring a wide variety of skills taking on new challenges with responsibilities. The energy and excitement of the team has become contagious within the Office environment. They have been great in providing support and sharing information, the transparency within the no seniority structure has allowed it to become easy to gain personal coaching and advice from senior members within the company.
I managed to get pretty fast trough the development programme and it wasn't easy. I would do it again becuse it's one of the most rewarding experiences I've had. All the hard work I put into this payed off because now I have my own team and client.
The selection process was quite efficient and interactive, I went from candidate to successful in two days. They were accommodating in terms of time and how I could get to the interview. During the observation day I got the chance to interact with the team and the manager and got a good understanding of the company.
Have been with the company for just over 8 weeks. Very fast paced environment. Promotion from within ie. a black and white criteria, got promoted after 5 weeks to team leader. Everything about leadership and motivation comes to live in this office!
I used to work here as an events assistant and had a really good experience - I built my confidence in communications and gave me the foundation I needed to pursue a career in marketing. The best thing about working at Source is definitely the people - some of the most friendly, positive people you could meet and the management team genuinely care about your progress, I definitely gain friends for life. I would recommend anyone joining.
The business trips are not just enjoyable, they are useful. I learned most of what I know by just visiting other places and learning from managers in other offices.
I was excited to learn I had won the competition and was invited Go Karting with teh CEO. Management understands it's not about titles but about how you treat and respect your team.
I started for a sales summer job and I decided I want to invest more in my future and develop an actual career. I got inspired by our amazing coaches and others who managed to progress
I am impressed that there are so few of these companies who actually care about their team. Good opportunities to progress and learn new skills. The company culture is avant guardiste and reflects the current needs of our generation.
The training has been career changing for me because I developed leadership, communication and public speaking skills. Now I m preparing for the next stage of learning team management
While the first interview was a standard review of my CV, the manager was very open and eager to find out more about me. For the second interview, he spent a few hours to teach me about the business model and why the company is growing. I really liked their approach and their culture. The team is exciting and the office looks great.
We're not like most marketing companies. Management encourages the entrepreneurial mind-set and personal initiative. We have a lot of development tools from team events, training, workshops and networking for those who want to develop in more key areas of business development.
A place for truly ambitious and career driven professionals. The training is easy to pick up, and the earning potential is high. The work environment helps, the music is booming and vibrant, keeps you awake and active.
The office is a positive and productive environment. The open area is great for training daily, workshops and networking sessions. Every day is different and every week a new skill to develop.
This opportunity has proven to be life-changing for me. I gained tones of confidence, learned new skills, met amazing people and visited the best offices in the UK. I consider the team to be my friend and Hector, my mentor. Very grateful for the chance to directly contribute to the company's growth.
The company is still active during the weekend, not on a office work sense, but on a social and community degree. People stay in touch, we organise events together and talk about how to grow the company to the next level.
The company has proven to be helpful and supportive during the outbreak. A lot of measures have been put in place for our wellbeing but also our financial security.
The travel opportunity is available but not mandatory. Our team leaders are organized when it comes to trips and business events. We have unique bonuses and the chance to spend time with other managers.
I worked at Source throughout the summer in between my studies. Being at uni studying marketing, I wanted to gain some first hand experience to Update my CV with.
For the 10 weeks I was there, I learnt more about my subject than I have so far in my 2 years at uni. I'm very grateful to Source for providing such an amazing experience and to have been made to genuinely feel a part of the team whilst developing my skills and being trained.
I know exactly where I'm applying once I graduate.
I feel inspired to see women do well in the company and ready to support one another. It s a friendly environment for anyone new to the industry, with different tools and skills to learn that will be valuable on your CV.
The training within the company is thorough and efficient. I had to deliver a speech for my first promotion. I will now learn how to oversee a small team and how to drive the numbers up.
I had an interview with them. All lies. Sugar coat everything. I had my observation day with some loser called Toby, he was intrusive, condescending, evasive and plain rude. He asked some very personal questions which made me feel really uncomfortable. Biggest waste of time.
We've known Hector and Source Marketing Direct for many years, and have to say they're an absolute pleasure to work with. It doesn't seem to matter who you speak to at Source, everyone has the same approachable nature. Their firm has generated really impressive figures for their clients over the last 10 years in business, and I would recommend them to anyone looking to acquire new, high quality customers.
The interview process had two parts. The first was a brief interview with the directing manager. The second was a demo from the sales team. Very confident team. After spending some time with them for the second interview, I learned more about what they were doing and how that could help me grow within the company.
The process was divided in different parts. The first interview was quite brief. The second interview a couple of hours long and the last interview no more than 20 minutes to make a final agreement. Most of the focus should obviously be on the second interview. It's required being a good listener and keeping a strong level of professionalism and communication skill. Some of the questions are situational based as to test my work ethic and general approach.
The interview process went smoothly. I received an answer quicky after my application. Didn't struggle to get feedback, the manager was also open regarding any concerns or unanswered questions. After being offered the role, the induction was also complete and covered all areas. It's a good introduction to the industry.
The interview process was very interactive and interesting. Both the recruiter and manager were really friendly and presented the opportunity during a live demo. I got to spend time with the team and actually see some of the training process. The question were situational and I also had the chance to ask a lot of questions to the team. Loved the environment
When I started the business, I was lacking communication skills. Through training and thanks to the feedback, I learned fast how to adapt to a different environment and answer quickly to customer's needs.
The last two weeks have been a new obstacle to overcome in my career. I put a lot more effort than usual, and with the support of my managers I have now reached my first promotion. It's a great feeling as it didn't involve any politics, favoritism or any other mean that would discriminate my peers. It's all due to merit and hard work.
The office looks good. We have new working and chilling areas, it s a welcoming and positive atmosphere. It s also a nice touch to finish the day playing a game or networking with people.
I've now been in the business for 2 months now and it has completely given me a new outlook on life and helped me develop and change myself as a person. There's the greatest family feel to each office only wanting you to succeed. Amazing business opportunity As new set of skills for life.
Here I found right from the start something a lot of companies don't provide anymore: training, development and opportunity to grow. The company is expanding and gives recognition to top performers.
