Called to check what the wait time would be like on a Saturday night. Sheyla said it would be best if we just arrive around 9pm. Her answer wasn't specific, so I asked her would I be able to make a reservation which her reply was they don't take reservations. Once my cousin and I arrived they put us down on the waitlist. She said it would be a few minutes.
While we waited outside in the cold we witnessed countless people arriving and being seated right away. I started to wonder how is that possible? They don't do reservations, but yet every white person was let in right away. Being hungry and cold is something Sonoma Wine Garden has no control over, however discriminating against a certain group/ethnicity is definitely a serious matter that needs to be adjusted hopefully sooner than later. In the end Sheyla said she had completely forgot about us waiting. Interesting! We were a few feet away patiently waiting on the benches periodically making eye contact every time they let someone else inside.
I love everyone. I respect everyone. I really hope this review reaches the right people that run this organization. After they finally let us in. We decided to leave. We work hard for our money and make a decent living without having to discriminate.

Fell into this place while walking through Santa Monica. Pretty expensive but everything was worth it! Had a couple of super yummy glasses of wine and a dozen oysters and they were on point. It s been a long time since I had good and decent sized oysters in LA and very impressed with them. I would highly recommend for a cute romantic date. The only thing was $5 for bread? What a waste, when spending so much money you should get free bread. But still highly recommend.

Total RIP OFF!! Was always expensive, but now it's changed for the worst. Layout inside to the whole menu.

Great selection of wines and apps for a perfect outside happy hour on the deck overlooking the ocean on the 3rd floor of the awesome Santa Monica Place shopping center!

Great place to take friends for brunch. Dj and fun, lively crowd and music. Very posh atmosphere. Bottomless mimosas :)

Quite expensive. Ordered salad and dressing on the side and main dish.
Salad was swimming in the dressing they forgot to put in on the side. The food was ok not really tasty

Great veggie tacos. My dad had the chicken tacos and he loved it! I'd say these are on par with Tacos El Gordo! Pretty quick service too considering they had a million people ordering. Also the churros were amazing!!

Good food but nothing to write home about. Last time I went there the service was terribly slow. Nice place to go if you want a view and a flight of wines.

We liked it! Up to now, my favorite Italian restaurant in Los Feliz has been Farfalla. I've just had the porcini ravioli, another pasta with mushroom dish and a salad special - burrata, arugula, tomatoes and roasted red peppers. All delicious! There are two rooms, a deli, and a small front patio. The ambiance is super cozy, almost to the point of overkill. It has a lived in, comfortable feeling and the service was quite good, genuinely friendly, if a bit more relaxed than usual for LA. Highly recommended.

No AYCD bloody mary NEMOR. the food is OK but overpriced w/o the bloody Mary bar. Avoid the traffic and go local.

My favorite is $1.00 oysters, and $6 wine and beer.

The atmosphere was pleasant, cozy and overall perfect. Brian was by far is the best server I have encountered in years, very attentive and well educated about the menu. I highly recommend this place for a romantic dinner or a casual bite among friends.

Stopped in for one drink after having dinner around the corner. Bartender was very rude when I asked what a froze "the Sonoma way" entails. I expect friendlier service from a place trying to be higher class

Go for Happy Hour, great prices and not busy at all...3-7 during the weekdays. Service could be a bit better, took around 10 minutes for anyone to take our order after we sat and there is a 2hr covid time limit.

The food is vibrant yet rich. Simple yet sophisticated. Classic yet innovative. Dining here is not all about food, it is about the experience, the message that the team is trying to convey, while keeping the rule of putting customer satisfaction foremost.

This place was so cool. The vibe is very 90's/2000's and made me so nostalgic with the music and wall art.

I ordered the pastrami dog in a lobster bun - melted in my mouth. Great place to get together with friends, sing some old school hip hop/r&b songs, and eat some yummy dogs!

Cute place for a brunch. It's very sunny and open, but it was extremely crowded on a Saturday and the loud music was making things worse. I was quite disappointed with the total lack of vegan options on the menu (ended up getting a salad and fries, sigh) but the bottomless cocktails were good.
It's a little hard to find - it's in the mall, take the elevator on the Second St side to the third floor.

Waste of time and money. I was do dissapointed by this restaurant. The hostess was sterile and didn't seem happy to be there. Although the food seems reasonably priced, the quality is so poor that I definitely feel ripped off. I had the chicken and it was OK. The swordfish was overcooked. One person ordered salmon and it was undercooked and the vegetables were burnt. The waiter didn't check at all to see how the food was. When we complained about the salmon, the manager was rude, argumentative and hostile. He treated his clients with contempt. Overall, service and food was below average. I would never go back or recommend this place.

I like Sonoma Wine Garden. It almost feels super exclusive when you walk down to the wooden wine dungeon below. Something about this place is magnetizing, it sparkles with wine.

Liked the environment and the atmosphere, kinda crowed but my waitress was polite and kind enough, there's not so many options for food but I guess it's more famous for drinks and wind indeed. I had a salad, a small portion and hardly any asparagus but good. Oh one last thing the blonde girl at the entrance is simply awesome! :)

Good food, exceptional pizza and I love the rooftop venue. Happy Hour specials are awesome and well-priced.

Taking off a star because while waitstaff is friendly, I've been twice for lunch and service is quite slow, even though its not at all crowded.

I really enjoyed the domestic wine tasting flight with 5 different wines and there were generous pours. It was great seating at the outdoor patio next to the campfire. They even provide blankets for those who are more of the coldblooded type. It was just a relaxing evening spent sipping wine and reminiscing.

500% my favorite hot dogs. I love these hot dogs. Absolutely a ten star winner!!!
My daughter introduced me to the Los Angeles location. Very busy yet very clean and great customer service. I got a basic meal of hot dog ,fries, soda and dessert for 25.00!!!!! The BEST in town.

Wonderful meal! The Scottish salmon sandwich is fantastic, and I really enjoyed their bread with olives and olive oil appetizer.

Made a reservation for a graduation party. Had to walk away after waiting for 90 mins to be seated. Thanks for spoiling a graduation.

I love Sonoma Wine Garden so much. The first two times I came, I only stayed as a guest with a friend yet she ordered so much. I need to finish everything she ordered. I managed to eat all of it because it was delicious!

Bad bad service. Ordered hot pizza, got cold pizza 45 minutes later. Tried to order again....still bad service. Had a reservation, took 30 min just to seat us. Will never go again.

The service was slow, the food was good, the drinks and wine were great!

Saffron Seafood Pasta - lemon linguini, catch of the day, mussels, shrimp, scallop, tomato, garlic, white wine. OMG!! The linguini is cooked to perfection!! Love the texture. All the seafood taste yummy! A dish that I will definitely order again~

Came for the wine. Stayed for the Hangar Steak and truffle fries!

It's a for court wine bar so that will give the overall vibe. Wine list is basic. Meatballs were tasty and they have good happy hour prices.

$45 brunch with bottomless mimosas (three different flavors) is a great deal

Service could have even better. Food was decent. I tried to host an event here for 60 people they initially expressed interest then stopped communicating with me entirely for no reason.

You have to stop here! Friendly staff, great ambience, awesome food and all you need for a lovely evening... I'd go back every time!

I had no idea this place even existed until my friend invited me here. It was popping for a Saturday day. It must've been all you can drink mimosas or something. I had wine & sparkling rose . The prices were a little high ( but to be expected in Santa Monica) it looks like a fun place for brunch, lots of outdoor seating .

We loved this restaurant. Upon arrival and notification of our reservation, we were quickly seated on the rooftop in a corner table with an amazing view of the sunset. Our waiter was a friendly and attentive gentleman who made the dining experience phenomenal. Our food was delicious, our drinks were strong and well-blended, and the dessert our server recommended was amazing. Parking was easy to find, the location is perfect and great for our date night. We will definitely return. Highly recommended.

Bottomless mimosas for 2 hours 39 bucks. Good food. Cool scenery. Upstairs. Can see the ocean. Recommend the burger!!!!

My favorite place for handmade pasta and a chill ambiance every time

We came here for an event. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, and the food was all delicious.

Hostess was very rude. Food was burnt and had little flavor. The outdoor area is quite nice though.

Average food, but extraordinarily overpriced, even for Santa Monica. Abysmal service. Socially awkward hostesses, waiters who are disinterested in anything other than taking your order.

Every drink refill had to be explicitly requested. Sometimes twice.

The bar is nice. It's very well presented and the staff were friendly. However....

We were a party of 5 and as we arrived we were asked if we wanted to eat. As we weren't sure, we answered thus and were subsequently told that we couldn't sit on the terrace to enjoy the view. This of course made us detirmined not to eat! Our bar bill was over $100 which they were happy to accept.

The manager was rude throughout. In short: don't bother. Spend your money elsewhere.

Great location! They provide a menu that is dynamic. They have staples, but provide seasonal options.

Wine selection is stellar, and sunsets are free.

We initially wanted to check this place out for their $1 oyster happy hour but ended up staying for dinner. This is a cute rooftop restaurant with an impressive menu. We really enjoyed everything we tried. We re going to let you in on our secret: the shrimp, the tomato salad, the duck pate and that mouth watering lamb shoulder... you re welcome!

This is an incredible gem of a place off of 3rd Street Promenade, all the way upstairs in the malls food court. Great outside seating high up to enjoy the beach sunset along with a great wine menu, oysters, appetizers, and cocktails. Great service along with happy hour specials found here. Only downside is the city does not grant them parking validation -not even for their staff. Great little hideaway from the street crowd of you're already in the area.

I went for brunch and there was no host. After waiting 10 minutes with no help, my group and a few other groups waiting behind us went inside. A waiter rudely told us to stay out and away from the tables.

We went to use the bathroom while we waited and found vomit everywhere. It did not look like they had cleaned in quite some time.

I would recommend eating anywhere else in the area.

It was my first time here and I was amazed at the quick pace of service considering how busy they were on a Saturday afternoon. My group had more than 6 people so part of our group had to make a 2nd reservation but we were super flexible and the hostess did her best to seat us together as close as possible which was very nice of her! The mimosas were and great and the food was even better! My boyfriend and I had the 1/2 pound burger and the fried chicken sandwich. Both sandwiches were cooked to perfection and juicy! I can't wait to come back and try their french toast!

The only suggestion I could give is possibly asking the DJ to lower the music down because it was difficult to hear our waitress and even others at our own table without having to yell.

So happy I finally came to Dirt Dog! This was my first time coming here.. When I got here the line was out the door but it wasn't extremely long. It was also moving at a fast pace so that was great. They have a lot of small menus right near the entrance which is nice so you have an idea of what to order.

It is a beautiful place, full of life, but it took a lot of food, so much that I got bored, the menu is very lacking, I was a little disappointed. It is a place to go to conquer.

Review of their bar only: Nice place, great drinks, and the staff was super. All the tables are outside on their patio, which wraps around the bar. It is very nice looking with a mellow crowd. We had two beers and two cocktails, all good.
Four stars only because 'wine garden' makes it sound like a place that is much larger than the fifteen tables here. Also wish it had a view.

Great. Service great. Food great. Great ambiance. Lots of variety in the food. Spicy for the spice lovers and no spice for the no spice lovers in our group. We had a good time and were not rushed out. Server answered many questions for us without getting impatient.

Came here for a reserved party on a Sunday right at lunchtime. For some inexplicable reason, there was only one server handling all of the large groups. We had to wait 25 minutes just for drinks to come out. Beyond that, prices were ridiculous and portions were tiny.

I love the atmoaphere of this restaurant. It is located on the rooftop level of a shopping center. The food was delicious and the seats were very comfortable. I would have loved a different table because the music was way too loud where we were sitting. I would definitely go back.

Great place for Sunday Brunch, they even had a live DJ spinning on the day I went. Be sure to make a reservation, or you may end up waiting for a long while. The brunch menu offers bottomless mimosas in a variety of flavors, which is a great deal if you like mimosas...but be sure you have a designated driver after your meal, as those drinks can really sneak up on you. My favorite thing to get on the brunch menu is the breakfast pizza, but they offer a wide variety of items, including a great eggs Benedict dish. The crowd you'll find here is the very young & hip LA crowd, which makes for some fun people-watching.

Love this place. Make sure to get a reservation. Sitting outside towards the back is the best, especially for sunset. Great food selection from truffle fries to soup of the day to pasta. Got the tomato soup here, pizza and mushroom pasta. Highly recommend ! They also bring out water in glass bottles which has a nice feel to it. Great service and everyone is always happy. Great date idea. I even went here as a group for brunch. The service is exceptional !!!
