Fridays have off menu specials like the meatball sub.
Light and crispy on the outside, perfectly soft bread on the inside soaked with a slightly spicy meatball sauce. Some green stuff is sprinkled in and beautiful meatballs are trying to bust out of the bread but they all come together in your mouth to give you deep satisfaction.
Finish with a beer or wine in the wine garden. An oasis on the top floor of the mall, surrounded by thriving olive and citrus trees. Nice!

Simple menu options, with delicious foods. But they seem to nickle and dime everything. When we asked for some breads for one of our dishes that comes only fish and some grill veggies, they wanted to charge $5 for breads. That shouldn't happen especially when the fish dish was charged ~$30.

I was craving a chicken sandwich and found this place conveniently located in the Mission! I went with the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich, the Southern Style Fried Chicken sandwich, and a side of tator tots.

Awesome food and excellent service.

Awesome food and excellent service.
You can tell they make their own pasta. It was delicious.
The sunset views of Santa Monica are beautiful from their expansive patio.
The tables are spaced out so you get privacy and safety during this crazy time.

Great place! The food is good, the servers have really great personalities! Their happy hour is unbeatable, $20 dollars for a dozen oysters and two glasses of champagne! Also the place is huge so there is always a table!

I have been here 3 times in the past 14 months. And I have to say things have NOT improved. The food quality is worse, the service is terrible. (It took 14 minutes each time to get a draft beer last night).
As a restaurant choice save your time and money go elsewhere.

from a bar experience, the atmosphere is lively and cozy. and eye candy abounds. Stick to the Wine they are generous with their pours. Be very specific with you mixed drink orders, some idiot bar tender last night made a "Captin and Diet", with white soda.

Let me start with the amazing service provided by Bryant who made a first date experience for me and my guest memorable from the very start and ensured that we would want for nothing. Then came the spectacular seared Ahi that was seasoned and textured as perfectly as possible. My date had the Squid ink pasta with dungeness crab that was equally as amazing accompanied by a flavorful full bodied Malbec. The fun atmosphere, and garden ambiance on a perfect summer night created the best possible date night experience.

Absolutely amazing in every way! Shawn was the best waiter I've ever had in LA, no exaggeration. Super friendly, super helpful, checked on us frequently, knew the menu, just awesome. The food was equally amazing. Tried the wings, the truffle fries, the mussels, and the steak salad and they were all AWESOME! My new favorite restaurant in LA. I will be back many times.

Location is beautiful and honestly the best part about my experience. The food was something I could make at home... and I can not cook. The meal was way over price! I am talking $60.00 for just myself and I had one dish and one drink. The service was great, yet it felt like our waiter was being to flirty with us and would only give better service to the girls that were feeding on his attention. Talk about unprofessional, this is not Magic Mike's buddy. Disappointing over all I felt the place would be "high end" for the price you pay along with the beautiful location. I will not be back.

Santa Monica Place is so much cooler now. The restaurants and shops are all fancy shmancy--right up my alley. Sonoma Wine Garden is probably my favorite restaurant there since the decor is cute, there's an abundance of wine, and the pizzas are made with deliciously fresh ingredients while still retaining a crispy crust. It doesn't hurt that I love truffle oil, and they put it over almost everything. I don't care what Gordon Ramsay has to say about that! I definitely recommend the pizzas or pastas, but you can pass on the desserts since they're kind of lackluster. Dress up, be fancy, and give Sonoma Wine Garden a try, and let me know what you think!

Despite its 'B' rating, Sonoma Wine Garden is the ideal place to chill and enjoy good food. The outside dining room is relaxing and inviting. The brunch choices are great.

I ordered the Eggs Benedict with a side of Truffle fries. The eggs Benedict was delicious, well as the fries.

Service was fast, the food was great. I can't wait to return.

First of all, I don't like leaving negative reviews... I am a small business owner myself and know how damaging negative reviews can be, but I had to make an exception.
We had a group of 5 turn up around 8pm on a Saturday evening without a reservation, so were expecting a bit of a wait but to our surprise, we could be seated immediately, in an area which was wide open. It was the area stuck away in the back, away from the view, and although there seemed to be 1-2 tables on the higher terrace with the view, and we would have been happy to wait for a bit, I didn't want to push the issue and was just glad to get something :)
Atmosphere - The vibe seemed to be good, bar was pretty lively, and I'm sure the view of the sunset was great.
Staff - Unlike many other bad reviews, we found the staff to be friendly and accommodating.
Menu - not only did I think it was very limited, but it was ridiculously over-priced. When you have to search through the menu for something that sounds good and is reasonably priced, that is a very bad sign. 2 of the group just ended up sharing a couple of starters, one had the pan roasted chicken, one the Italian sausage pizza, and after much deliberation I opted for the burger. The pizza selection looked like it had some potential, with truffle mushrooms and some other cool ingredients, but I like a little bit of meat / protein on my pizza (proscuitto & arugula is probably my go-to) so to have the only 'meat' option be italian / pork sausage with little else, was a little disappointing.
Food - Bland and over-priced. The pizza and chicken were just ok, and when I'm paying $18 for a damn burger, I expect it to be really good. It wasn't! I love sushi, will eat a good steak medium to medium rare, but when it comes to anything minced (burger, scallops) I will not eat those raw and they need to be at least medium to well. I think my kids could have cooked a better burger on the grill :) Well done is one thing, charcoal is another. It was absolutely shocking. Oh and that $18 was JUST for the burger, if I wanted fries, that would be an extra $3. $21 for a bad burger & fries!? GFOH! :)
The bill - We would just have put the whole thing down as a lesson learned, but then to add insult to injury, there was then a mandatory 20% tip added to the bill. I'm used to groups of 8+ (or very rarely 6+) having an 18% gratuity added, but 20% for a group of 5? Reading the other reviews about service (again ours was fine, otherwise I would give a 1*) and us experiencing terrible food, I'm wondering whether they don't just add the gratuity as standard to ensure that people are obliged to at least tip 'something'.
All-in-all, THE worst experience I've had at a decent / high-end restaurant in such a long time that I had to take some time to share my thoughts.

We do not write reviews often, but felt this was a must. We are a young couple from out of state visiting the area. The food was good, but our service was terrible and very, very slow. We felt very dismissed after our dining experience.

After ordering a starter, we were asked if we wanted to order anything else when obviously there for a full-course dinner. Additionally, in response to asking for another minute with the menu - one of our menus was abruptly taken while clearly still deciding on a main course.

Overall, service was extremely slow and as a result we felt dismissed and disrespected. In comparison to other restaurants in the area, this does not compare. Menu prices do not align with restaurant's customer service.

Such a great and busy place! Ahhh! It just feels lively to be here!

Went here on a friend's birthday. The ambience was great, the food was delicious! I tried their Summer Margarita and it was so good that I had to ask for a second one.

Will definitely come back here to try other healthy food options on the menu!

Good happy hour drinks and food. The hostess was a little short when we asked if we could sit at the bar, but the bartender was awesome! Great drinks and very attentive. Even made us special spicy margaritas!

I've been here 2 times now and it continues to impress. I had the pastrami dog, a carne asada taco, some corn. Everyone was very delicious and spot on. The corn had a little too much cheese, but still tasty all the same. The taco was surprisingly good too. They only have 1 on the menu and it comes with pretty decent salsa with a little kick to it. I really like the fried tortilla on the taco. Gave it good taste.

I love the food, neighborhood vibes and authenticity at La Pergoletta. They have a huge menu with endless combinations of fresh pasta and sauces, it is almost overwhelming if it is your first visit. The also have great weekday lunch specials which include pasta, salad and a drink for well under $20--I think this is the best time to go.

The place has a really great interior/exterior design. It felt great to drink wine here, I'm not sure how else to describe it. Probably a little on the pricey side, but not outrageous considering the location and scenery.

I tried to go here around 3:30pm on a Sunday and was told they were changing over to dinner and wouldn't be taking any customers until 5pm. Their website said their "Day Menu" went until 4pm,but apparently that's not the case.
