Contact with Solstice has been very good whenever I called for a quote or information. We've had the plan for years. What we pay per year, covers x-rays and cleanings. Other services are slightly discounted. Eye exams and glasses are slightly discounted as well. The plan is a good value for the price.
Love this company! Have had positive experiences with customer service calls and the plan that we are enrolled in and low monthly payments.

Great company excellent customer service. I have had a client relationship with Solstice Benefits for over 7 years and they are always willing to go the extra mile for my employees. Their Account Managers provide great service, they are very knowledgeable, helpful and attentive. Their Sales, customer service team, billing, claims and employee relations teams were always also very attentive to all our inquiries with quick turn around of any issues we presented. All of this was very appreciated as our offices are located throughout the US. We are happy with the services provided by Solstice.

If I could give them negative starts I would. Bought this plan, had it 5 months... tried to use it... but, the only office in the area that accepted it dropped the plan ( I see why now!) My son needed his wisdom teeth extracted... and we could not even find a single oral surgeon in the area that accepted it ( We searched for 100 miles!!!) We were basically sold a bill of goods. Very deceptive!! I have tried 38 times to get through to a person. Got voicemail for member services ( which I am certain does not exist!) Not a SOUL to answer questions, no one to call. DO NOT BUY THIS!!! DECEPTIVE COMPANY!!! NEVER have I had such a terrible experience!

I am new to Florida in need of a dental plan, I decided to called solstice benefits to obtain information of the individual plans they offer. The representative sindy took her time answered all my concerns.

I have never heard of this insurance, until the company I work for chose Solstice as their dental carrier. There is a dental procedure that I need to have done. Though my dental plan with Solstice covers this procedure, Solstice has continued to deny the claim. Initially, Jonathan told me in December that additional x-rays were needed.
After these were sent in, I was told, I have to appeal. Solstice, I will be appealing your denial. I will also be contacting the Better Business Bureau. This is by far, the worst dental plan I have had.
I have generally good experience with their customer support team. They respond to my email quickly and it is not difficult to talk to them on the phone if necessary.

I ve been a member of Solstice for 2 years and all the representatives have been awfully kind & respectful but Brittaney F went over and beyond to make sure I was assisted correctly and was very kind and professional throughout the entire call . She deserves 10 stars !!
Super super cheap through New York State of Health... only $11 to $16 per month. It covers cleanings but has huge copays for "issues"... Like 1/3 was covered of the cost of a crown. Customer Service was very friendly and helpful on the phone, so I raised the rating to four stars. I guess you have to never have tooth problems to avoid paying a lot for tooth repair issues. :/

I had to contact customer service concerning a third party bill. Over all, the experience was good. Agent was helpful, courteous and had the info I was looking for. The only drawback was that I could hardly understand her. She had a very heavy accent. Due to this issue, it took a little longer than needed to get my info.
Dealing with insurance in general can be a headache but sindy helped me answered all my concerns.

scam deserves a 0. paid yearly fee of $99 for dental only to never get medical card and any dentist i call says coverage is inactive. tried calling the insurance company but their "phone service is broken." no other numbers to call. email gets no reply. called healthcare.gov and they said its not their problem and its my own responsibility to find out if a insurance company is good or not just because its on the government website doesn't mean anything... in conclusion: do not recommend this insurance.
Top notch across the board from benefits to customer service and by far the best insurance company I've ever had. In speaking with customer service regarding available benefits in comparison to the charges being presented by my dentist, I've found that the person assisting me (I apologize; I don't have a name) was very helpful as well as knowledgeable and offered to contact my dentist's office should there be an issue with their billing. I appreciate the offer to assist; addressing billing issues is not something that I enjoy doing!
