Sofitel Silom Bangkok Review

I had a difficult situation because I had a problem with the reservation, but the staff was happy to wait and give a smile and kind response! Generally speaking, employees were good at service level.

Honey tip! You can use the roof top swimming pool and shower after check-in or check-out! The check-in time was wrong and the time was out, staff recommended swimming pool, so it was useful to shower and change clothes!

Breakfast is wide and clean, and a variety of foods are prepared, and fresh fruit juice and coffee are also provided ^ ^

The room was spacious, clean and good, but the bathroom and the room were separated by glass, the curtains were stuck and it did not seem to close even when the door was closed.

Pleasant stay and helpfull staff
We stay with my friends 3 days in So Sofitel Bkk. From check in to check out it was really beautifull stay! Big thanks for all help belongs to Ploy from reception which help and recommend us what should we see and do in our 3 days. We ve got nice room with beutifull view on Lumpini park. Rooftop bar with nice drinks and fingerfood you must visit! Breakfast and service and all around I just have no words! Just awesome! Thank you very much for plesant stay!!!

Modern and affordable, the swimming pool is kind of tiny but the rooftop bar is awesome at night.

Nice hotel with a long and beautiful infinity pool. However it's a bit far from the major shopping area as it's located at the business district. Good thing is the metro station is just at the opposite road so it's too bad if you want to reach another area.

We picked this hotel for our honeymoon during these crazy times with Covid-19 away from family and friends and let me tell you this place not only didn t disappoint us but exceeded all our expectations. Great restaurants ( red oven and Sochi) and great breakfast buffet. We also spent good amount of time by the pool side and were fantastically severed by very attentive crew including Vee, Job and Print. Thank you all and we hope to see you again soon.

A hotel worth over 20,000 yen. The view is good and the employee education is solid. Well maintained, room cleaning is always fast. The speed of Wi-fi is also fast. There are no dissatisfaction points in the water. There are several kinds of interior decoration and making of the room, so it is better to show some rooms and choose a room you like without having to check in impatiently.

Overlooked this "sky bar" at first because it's not very high up, but actually preferred it to some of the better known and loftier alternatives. Environment is more comfortable and accessible, service was excellent, cocktails were reasonable priced and excellent.

The view of Bangkok from Lumpini Park view, Infinite Pool and Loop Top was good. Staff uniforms are also very beautiful! However, the shower pressure was low and the shower fixture was broken. Breakfast was not satisfactory on my standard.

Two rooms (accompanied) The user changed, so I asked for a change, but it stayed as it is... As a companion2);;
I was going to wash it at dawn, but the light bulb burst and the electricity went out, so the engineer came...
Hot water came out well, but cold water didn't come out, so it was difficult to get into the bathtub because the water could not be controlled.. (Maybe the water tank was heated because of the hot weather.)

We could not afford to stay here for a week, but did spend a lot of time here, having meals at the excellent restaurant there, and having drinks on the rooftop bar and listening to the music. Great place to take photos from at night.

Horrific service. Poorly managed. Five star hotel service does not consist of telling guests they cannot order off menu when all the ingredients are there. I was told I could not have whipping cream for my coffee because their staff and manager could not be arsed to go get it from the kitchen. Then my friend watched an inept F&b manager make the worst Irish coffee I have ever seen let alone tasted. The coup de gras was watching a French chef berate staff for letting guests take honey from the honeycomb on the breakfast buffet. Then he walked by and his breath stank of alcohol.

If you see yourself as party people, then it's the best 5* hotel in town. If you are rather a conservative guest, you will be probably disappointed. Very good executive lounge. Inconsistent service level respectively quality.

Very good hotel. Would come again. Only issue that some staff does not understand sufficient English despite my Thai is even worse.
In case of heavy rain just relax at the pool area.

Awful experiences Dirty toilet seat Awful helps in assistant booking taxi and being cheated. Taxi driver said you have told him the taxi fees. Also, we are not being informed by the receptionist at the entrance. Terrible service Feeling sad and depressing!

The staff were pretty and friendly, but the hotel was large and the check-in took 30 minutes and the simple service took too long. I asked for a spoon on the phone in the room and waited for over 30 minutes.

And the soundproofing was so bad that it was hard at night
I called the care center a few times, but he didn't change the room.
Still, the room next door was quiet and I sang the song again and again.
I just gave up and slept.

Blue room is pretty dark.
Change to white rooms, which was relatively dirty, was cleaned again. Street noise can be heard in the room.
Some areas of the hotel are very worn out. Good breakfast - but without ambience!

Great rooms with a great view and very good service. Only at the pool it gets tight sometimes, but there are still loungers in the sun on the other side of the hotel.

Staff were so friendly compared to other hotels. When Auk met at the check-in, he felt good from the hotel's point of view, and Phat at the breakfast buffet restaurant was impressed by the kindness of his friend. The room was always comfortable and the city view was satisfactory. I also used the pool and gym once, but it was flawless. The breakfast buffet was the best among similar hotels I had during my trip.
There are also many restaurants nearby such as bitterman, meatchop and northeast.

A great location with a pool that offers some of the best views over Lumphini Park in all of the city. Weekend pool parties are always fun with some good djs.

Stayed at three different hotels in Bangkok. This hotel was my favorite. Best views. Friendly and very attentive staff to help with all your needs. And relatively close to the main attractions though traffic can be a pain

Great rooms in the heart of Bangkok, efficient services

All the hotel staffs are nice and friendly. They help us to prepare prayer room eventhough there's no prayer room. They give us a meeting room to use

So far everything has been great. The hotel is definately very posh, but my wife and I are loving it. Check in was very easy, the morning breakfast was excellent with many things to try. We still have 2 nights left, but so far we would recommend this hotel to anyone.

My wife and I have stayed in Hotels all over the world and we would have to pick this hotel as one of the best. Service, atmosphere, and location, this place has them all. We always recommend this hotel to anyone heading to Bangkok.

disappointing..not really a 5 star.room with gnats .. noise deafening air conditioners..I do not recommend this hotel .. value for money not at all interesting..jy stayed 3 nights..experience disappointing. the staff should also speak better english..it was hard to understand them..brand i will not be back .. there is much better in bangkok and me dear!

Pass through regularly in 2 ways Rama 4 and Sathorn Rd.

The view is good, the room is clean, but the service is somewhat lack of quality. The service at ground floor is good. However, staffs always keep chatting at 7th floor (buffet) & 9th floor (front desk). And the staff at buffet restaurant just asked me to sign my name when I questioned TWICE where is my room number on the bill. Even after I signed, he asked me to spell my name again in block letter.

Haven't stay overnight here, but other facilies like ballroom, catering, and coffee shop at lobby named "Koff" is outstanding...

I attended a friends wedding ceremony in one of the ballrooms. The venue and the staff were great. The food they served was also very good.

This was a tremendous experience, incredible room, amazing hotel.
I think I have stayed in around a thousand hotels in my life, and this was defined in the top 5! No doubt !
From the moment you step in the lobby I was treated with the most amazing service, the staff always helpful, the food in the 25th floor club was awesome, the infinity pool with views to the park breathtaking.
I highly recommend this hotel for any type of visits , business or holidays.
It's a cross the street from the park, and two blocks from the skytrain, that can take you to the old city in less then 15 min!
If ever in bangkok again, I will return!

Stayed in Room 2503 with Water Element Park View for three nights.
1. When checking in, a service staff will provide welcome drink immediately, and a one-to-one check-in process will be adopted.
2. This time when booking the room, it is indicated that it is a special anniversary. After checking in, I found the hotel's intentions, special decorations, and a bottle of red wine and small points.
3. There is no special reminder for birthdays during the stay, but the hotel still offers small cakes on the day.
4. The hotel s infinity swimming pool has an excellent view, directly opposite to Lumpini Park.
5. There is an Illy capsule coffee machine in the room and the MINI bar is also free.
6. Breakfast dishes are diverse and rich
7. Garden view room is worth living in.
8. The hotel is about 5-10 minutes walk from MRT LUMPINI station.
9. There is a small shopping mall nearby.
10. There are no supermarkets nearby, so it may be inconvenient to buy things temporarily in the middle of the night.
