Fantastic staff and amazing hotel. The pool is so big and relaxing with a separate children's area - which is great. Could be a little bit more vegetarian friendly - especially for the lunch buffet - which is quite expensive. White wine by the glass was not cheap and pretty ordinary for the price.

All good For this hotel There are facilities available for everyone in the family. Children love the kids club with a very large swimming pool. There is also a schedule of activities throughout the day. Children are very fun. If going to relax in Krabi, I recommend it.
Very welcoming staff!! Since we have accord card holder, we have half price of food and 15% off for other activities and drinks!! Free sofitel shuttle bus provides a lot convenience to the city!!
Only 3 restaurants, the one downstairs we mainly went for breakfast buffet, a great selection of food and beverages!! The Italian restaurant is so so, we didn't like the pizza since my husband is pizza lover, i will take words from him! The Indian is the best, it has master chef!! Great food and service, after a few day stay, the restaurant staff know our usuals!!
We stayed for 9 nights with our son and his wife in 2 executive rooms. The staff were very friendly and most helpful especially those in the club lounge. The breakfasts offered a large variety of good food and the dinners we had in both Venezia and White Lotus were wonderful. The room was large and well furnished and the beds comfortable.
Superb, all the outlets especially the white lotus were outstanding, food quality, excellent service staff and terrific taste of the Indian cuisine, better than what you get in India
Nice hotel with big swimming pool but a bit poor of service. Hotel is out of town if u need more fun pls stay at Ao Nang area. Or you should rent a car if you stay here. We haven't tried the food in hotel restaurant so no idea about that.
The name Sofitel can be used already. Accommodation has a shuttle bus for customers and the main golf course as well. Walking down, you can find Tub Kaek Beach.
Most probably a 5 stars hotel years ago.. There much better out there now.
Facilities and beverage food overpriced too expensive compare to other hotels and restaurants in Thailand.
Quiet disappointed with the beach.. Not clean.. overall noisy There is a road between the hotel and the beach with trucks passing often which we can hear from the swimming pool
A lovely hotel. Pool area is great especially splitting into children's side and adults side. Towel system very good and always enough sunbeds. Rooms were perfect, spacious, clean, comfortable. Lotus has the best Indian food ever. The pool bar food wasn't very nice. Would stay again. Thanks.
The place is very spacious, smooth, luxurious, looks Thai, decorated with wood. Good service staff Nearly 100% of the guests are foreigners. Full facilities. Very long swimming pool Breakfast is a western style with many choices. Overall, almost flawless. Next to the room where the air conditioner is not fully functioning When informed, the manager's management is like a little boy. Not just impressed, the EQ manager has not developed to the standard.
I got a warm welcome from the hotel, the room was nice. I went there in early Jun'16, it was such a lovely stay even though the pool was closed for maintenance (Too bad I didn't experience the biggest pool in TH, they closed the main pool but the other side still open) but they put me on a perfect room with the view to the other pool and beautiful hill.
I was staying for two nights, unfortunately on day two I got sick (a stomach problem caused by foods from the street) then I asked a help from the lobby and they were taking care of me well, they provide medicines (free of charge) and they made a consultation with the nurse of the house to give the best treatment for me. Thank you for the front desk team! (on sat noon Sat Jun 4th)
I had the chance to tried the restaurants with my colleagues, we had Italian dinner, the food was amazing and love their pasta! so fresh and so delicious! the dessert was great as well
I will recommended this hotel for you, they arranged the island tour as well for my company and everything was spectacular!
Overall, we had a very pleasant, relaxing & enjoyable stay as we were resting on our way back to Sydney after a busy round the world trip via the US & Europe. We particularly enjoyed the Pool, the Spa, Hemingway's Bar & the White Lotus restaurant - where both the Indian & Thai food was delicious ! All of the staff were very warm & welcoming, with a particular call out for both Lookkate & May in the Maya Restaurant who were really outstanding & looked after us for our entire stay. In the White Lotus Restaurant, we were also well looked after by Sao, Claire & Nun as well as the team in Hemingway's Bar - with Happy Hour being a particular favorite... whilst watching the nightly Candle Ritual !
Room was clean and tidy. Facilities are good, staff are friendly.
Food is inconsistent in quality and taste Day to day. Room service food cold and dry.
A.C. Was noisy in late evening. When staff were informed they could not detect the noise, so did nothing about it. They then did not inform us of this, so when we thought it fixed it was not. So our sleep was disturbed. Bringing our bags to the reception when checking out took 20minutes. Then bags where packed in the taxi without informing us. So we ended up waiting for additional 5 minutes.
I had a pleasant stay, but one thing ruined it all , I forgot my purse in the lobby and found my money gone , the hotel administration did nothing , that was really disappointing .
The theater is very good, very beautiful, with a variety of shooting angles. Good privacy Come to this hotel, you don't have to go anywhere. There is everything in the school. There is a private beach in front of the hotel, So Spa is Dee, use everything from L 'occitane (I bring Pee Wan), massage very good, friendly, pay attention to every detail of customers. The mess in life is very impressive.
Very well run hotel. Magnificent swimming pool. Very clean gardens. Very pleasant staff. Without being too obsequious. Pleasant restaurants with good products. Poorly stocked wine list, however. Platinum member of Club Accor, and choosing a vintage club room, we were upgraded to a prestige suite with large balcony overlooking the sea. Thank you for this nice gesture. However, and I find it very mean: ridiculous to charge for soft drinks. I only frequent Pullmans, MGallery and Sofitel and for years at least 4 softs have been offered per day (or even 8 at the Muse in Bangkok) in all the establishments I frequent (Paris Milan Bangkok Hua Hin). Well here you have to pay for your coke !! So that we opened a puddle of Whiskey billed at 32 euros! As for breakfast, although included in the price of the night, although Platinum Accor, taking it in the room is not free (France - Muse BKK) or with a minimum surcharge (500 THB at Pullman G BKK): no you repay the full breakfast !! Petty too!
We had a fantastic stay at the property, just good rooms, indian food was just out of the world, even the breakast spread was excellent . Hotel staff is very humble and very polite . Just keep it up.
Locate in private area. So calm and quiet. Great for relaxing. Have a huge pool. Welcome drink and welcome fruit is so nice. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. They have free shuttle to Aonang beach and to Krabi city depart every 2 hours.
Is a great experience Activities in the hotel are overflowing. There are many options. Covering all styles of Thai Have a nursery room Parents can find time to suite. Watch the sunset and barbecue on the yacht of the hotel. Retail atmosphere Huge swimming pool The largest ever found Good service staff Dressed in a beautiful Thai dress And the breakfast was delicious

There is a problem with an air conditioner at our room but front desk staff can fix it immediately . They offered us to change the room . We would like to say thank you to the guy who took care us for that night he is Khun Film . We promise we will back to visit Sofitel Krabi again . Amazing team work all of your staff very nice friendly . Thank you very much . Jira S.
Impressed with the atmosphere, pool, breakfast included. And hospitable staff In particular, Ph.D. An assistant manager Donna talked clubbing because you love very hospitable.
I had the opportunity to travel to Thailand again. I would like to stay here again for sure.
Hotel very well maintained and has a very pleasant staff. Our room was very well equipped and we had a very good stay. Without a doubt we will come back. Good luck to all the team. Olivier Vanbaelinghem
Woken up at 5am by chanting coming from the mosque next door. We have been told this will happen daily . Something there web site fails to mention . We have asked to be moved to the other side of the hotel . Hopefully this can be done . Other then that it's a really nice hotel , but we are on holiday and don't won't to be woken at 5am every morning. ........
I stayed at Gotham Kitchen for a while and I wanted to get a good place to stay, but the room condition is good and the swimming pool is really big I am too big to get tired of it. But there are not too many people, so nobody says anything. If you go to the back door, there is a convenience store. If you go to the back door, there is a convenience store. If you go to the left side of the convenience store, there is a lot of restaurants and you can buy a lunch box at the convenience store. When I make an internet reservation, I said that it is not possible to pick up by shuttle at the time of reservation, but if I call by phone, I will pick it up.
Great pool area and good pool activities for older children. Clean and tidy. Close to the beach. Boring bar in the evenings, we wanted to sit outside and not in an ac-cold dark bar. Very expensive to drink and eat at the hotel.
Lovely property with so much to do. A perfect place for kids as the staff looks after you well. The food is good with many options of different restaurants.
Very friendly staff, especially LIckit and Montree at the pool-bar, a big thank for them! The menu at the pool-bar (Koh Poda) was very limited and the portions really too small! Half the time many of the items on the menu were not available at all, e.g. peperoni pizza, avocado or lemon ice cream. Pasta carbonara was served without any ham/bacon several times and sometimes just with some fat instead of meat. Often difficult to get meals or drinks served at the poolside as it was hard to get the attention of the waiters. We were not greeted with any cold towels or welcome drink upon arrival. Spa was nice but really over-priced. The pool area tiles should be of lighter color in order to avoid getting your feet burned. All the guests were complaining about this. Lady who checked us out and finished our bill was extremely nice and spoke excellent English! There was mold on the ceiling of our bathroom.
But there is only one disadvantage Children must pay for the hotel wiping cloth if they want to be used outside the hotel. As usual, general hotels, size 2-3 stars They also provide free services.
Awesome! We stayed 3 nights at 2nd floor. As soon as checked in we were welcome by most hospitality staffs. We booked the room thorough the agent, but it was at first floor. I requested the reception staff to change to higher floor and immediately they checked and changed it for us, and one staff escorted us to our room while explaining about the activities, restaurants they have, spas and boutique shop. Room is spacious and bathroom is big too, got both bathtub and shower. Comfortable and big mattress made us fall asleep very easily. Complimentary water bottles are supplied as many as you need, and coffee and tea are free as well (instant mix). Minibar got Singha beer, Heineken, and some soft drinks (min charge is 100B), and some small bottles of liquor too. Swimming pool is located in front of the hotel and the sea can been seen from the pool. It is the biggest pool in Thailand. Now is low season but I saw many rooms were occupied. Buffet breakfast was good enough for big eaters (local delicacies and European foods), but daily menu was almost the same (you might be bored the foods if you stay a week). Noodle soup, fried rice or vermicelli, fried mix vegetables, fried chicken or pork, baked potatoes, tomatoes, mushrooms, omelette, buegette, gluten free breads, cakes, yogurt, milk, many types of juices, bacon, sausages, smoke chicken, salmon and salami, salad with many types of dressing. Breakfast time is from 6:30 am to 10:30 am. The staffs are very attentive and well trained that they give you great service that you feel as if you were a king. I will definitely go back there again if I chose Krabi as my destination again.
Stayed for 3 nights, great experience, buffet breakfast and dinner. The noon steak is too hard and over cooked. The noon drink only provides coffee and tea, no other beverages such as juice soda, and too few choices. The room is very good, spacious and clean, once you enter the room, the air-conditioning will help you open it, the bathing supplies are easy to use, the fragrance is fragrant, the swimming pool is oversized, and the beach opposite the hotel can take a boat to the sea.
The staff very friendly specially K.Nicky the receptionist .she so nice and kind staff.Nice pool and have lots of activities it make the hotel not too boring. I like it.
Good service such as movies, music, yoga...and friendly staff. We have wonderful relax in pool and music. Rental bicycle is ok, but it would be great if it is free service. Almost visitors are going to island tour. i think someone need bag for tour. Let think about your support to visitor who have tour.
Every employee who can meet at the hotel will always greet you with a smile. So I was able to relax with a relaxed mind. The hotel has a classic, high-quality facilities and design, and the standard is very high. From small items to dining menus, nothing has been chosen. The spacious swimming pool and the high quality spa provide a special experience. I think it is a hotel that shows high level not only in Krabi but also in the world. If you go to Krabi, you will never regret choosing it.
It's a beautiful property at a very good location. The staff is very good and caring. Especially at the restaurant Mai, Kai and Tai all 3 are so friendly. We loved the hospitality and even a girl at the reception desk, she was very helpful. Don't remember her name now . Overall a good time we had
Was impressed with the rest of this time I joined the Thai boxing archery activities. Thank you to the national teacher and teacher Pam for making this teaching fun and very impressive. Including the excellent hotel service Warm atmosphere Perfect for relaxing If you have a chance to go back to relax and choose Sofitel
Third visit here at Sofitel, (where's the cocktaill party for returning guests..?) Will likely to return due to nice surroundings and islands nearby. Very nice hotel with extremely attentive and nice staff. Top notch! Huge pool. The pool is just big and boring, sunbeds gets taken early. The garden is just as boring, large spaces, surely easy to manage as a garden, but I sure miss the lush greenery! Breakfast has a great diversity, but not up to JW Marriott standard. To get to the beach, which is somewhat rocky, a busy road must be crossed. A guard is available. Go to Tup Kaek beach instead, rent a Scooter! Location is close to the small local village, a couple of hundred meters. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Drinks, ice cream, food, massage, is ridiculous expensive in hotel. Child care and activities are absolutely top, with wonderful staff!
Great holiday experience for all family members. Food was Sumptuous & to our taste/liking. All staff members were Excellent, some like KO from your Kitchen, PAT from your Kids Activity & MOBEEN your Director of sports/recreation were indeed EXCEPTIONAL.
Apart from the poor golfing experience in your resort & the horrifying State of Krabi Airport, everything else was just PERFECT.
Very nice hotel in Krabi. High end with pool of 7000m2. Nice room. The beaches in front of the hotel are not top, a lot of rock and coral. Absolutely make an excursion to the islands by long tail boat.
Located away from the popular Ao Bang beach in Krabi, this hotel is a massive property. From a golf course to a huge swimming pool, tennis courts, gym this hotel has it all. Although the property is slightly old, it's well maintained and the rooms are spacious. Highly recommend this hotel and would consider this as one of the best properties in Krabi
Great time here: kindly staff, breakfast is superb, the rooms are good and have a great amenities kit from L'occitane (wife loved). The pool is amazing, the landscape also, three restaurants, one spa. Everything a bit overpriced, but you are at Sofitel, so you can pay the brand or search other options nearby: we enjoyed also massage and other restaurants in the neighborhood, they are great options, without the same sophisticated environment, but good quality at the end of the day.
We spent 2 weeks at Sofitel. We had a great stay but feel like the advertised 4+ star experience lacks that little extra that you would expect.
Pros + A lot of activities for the whole family arranged by the hotel. + The variety of options at the breakfast + Huge pool and pool area. We never had problems getting a sun bed. + When the tide is right the hotel beach is great! And not crowded.
Cons - There is no structure in how the housekeeping is handled. Sometimes they come early in the morning and sometimes not at all. We needed to ask housekeeping to get our room cleaned several times during our stay. This due to that it wasn't done at all. Traveling with a small child this became quite annoying. You would expect a lot more of a 4+ star hotel. - Dining at the hotel was very disappointing (except for the breakfast). The Thai food was probably the worst we had in Thailand and all dining is super expensive. Not only compared to the local restaurants but also comparing it to another 4+ star hotel we stayed in the week before. There are so many nice restaurants only a 10 min walk away. My recommendation is to go there instead. - Even though the breakfast is great and the variety of options is one of the best I have seen. They had problems running out of a lot of things, a couple of times during our stay. That may of course happen. But the problem was when it happened there was no structure in place to fix it. So some mornings we got a quite bad breakfast experience.
We were in off season, and the hotel was very quiet and relaxed with excellent service. They made it easy for us to check in early and check out late. The only drawback to my taste was the food at one of the dinners.
Great place for a family holiday and for those who enjoy the pool more than the beach. Beach is less than average and unfortunately littered with glas and plastic most of the time. Bars and restaurants on the beach front (5-10 min. walk along the beach) are a must if you want to enjoy a good sun downer and dinner by the beach with partially good local food.
Excellent service. Great hotel with good entertainment for kids. Amazing food in their restaurant and a good swimming pool. I would go again any day. Most of time was spent inside the resort as well as on the beach opposite of it. I have put here all my photos of the experience
