Grapefull Sisters offers everything an outstanding...

Grapefull Sisters offers everything an outstanding winery has: delicious wine, a friendly atmosphere, and plenty of spaces to relax. Driving up to the tasting room, we noticed the idyllic, rustic setting. The grounds were well-kept and offered lots of shaded, grassy areas for an afternoon picnic. Wrapping around the tasting room, the farmhouse front porch provides a wonderful place to sit in a rocking chair or porch swing and sip the day away. If you have a larger group, the tasting room has a screened-in side porch to accommodate you. As soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted by Amy and Sheila--southern hospitality at its finest. These sisters own and operate the winery on land which has been in their family for generations so there is truly a sense of deep pride and commitment with these ladies. A picture of their parents is proudly displayed near the tasting bar which gives the visitor a sense how close-knit this family is. We were able to taste all their wines, and they offer something for every taste: dry, semi-dry and sweet wines. This vineyard is unique as they grow muscadines, a grape native to NC, and they grow all their grapes on-site. During our tasting, Amy was so knowledgeable about the health benefits of muscadines and recommended many food-wine pairings for us. They also offer non-alcoholic juices if someone in your party needs that option. After our tasting, we browsed their gift shop. Here we found jams and jellies made locally with local fruit, lots of handcrafted objects, and many on-trend, unique items made by artisans in the area. If you are looking for a laid-back afternoon or just need to escape the busyness of the beach, spend some time here supporting this wonderful, local business.

I love this place. Me and my husband rented one of the cabin rooms and everything was perfect. They had camping available. The pool was open. There are trails for hiking. The whole place was picturesque. The Barn they rent for party's looks like something out of a country wedding song!! I just can't not say enough good things about this place.

Always such a great and friendly place to go with very good wine. It has become a staple for my wife and I since before we were married on the property earlier this year. So many good things can be said about this place but if you like wine, jelly's and so much other great stuff you should go see them!

My husband and I have been going to Ocean Isle for years and in 2008 we stopped in for a tasting and have been making it a yearly thing since. We enjoy chatting with Sheila and Amy while we have glass of wine or two. They always make us feel so welcome, like part of their family. The gift shop is lovely as well. A great place to visit!

Beautiful location and they are extremely knowledgeable and helpful regardless of the event you're planning. I would highly recommend them for any upcoming events or even if you're looking for a quiet place to park your RV for a few days.

We had a great time doing a wine tasting and lunch...

We had a great time doing a wine tasting and lunch during our honeymoon to Myrtle Beach!
Very nice, small place. Warm and inviting. We had our picnic lunch on the porch. Nice views.
Wine was great. Purchased 5 bottles to share with family and friends! ( yeah right! lol)
We also purchased jams and jellies and some decor for the house!

We will visit again next time we are in the area. Will inquire about added gratuity, which we have no problem paying, the company and service was worth it, but it is always nice to be told or advised ahead of time, in my opinion. Won't let that stop us from returning.
It was one of the highlights of our honeymoon!!

Was a wonderful weekend at Grapeful Sisters. The wine tasting was amazing and the scenery was beautiful! The bathhouse was clean and the pool was perfect on a hot day. Close to everything but still felt like you were in nature. Will be coming back often!

My husband and I recently visited Grapefull Sister...

My husband and I recently visited Grapefull Sisters Vineyard while staying at the adjoining campground, CarrollWoods Campground. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit! Such a calm and inviting atmosphere. Everyone is friendly! The wine, jam and pickles were amazing! Everything is homemade by the family! We purchased a lot to take home with us as Christmas gifts plus additional novelty items they sell in their quaint and charming store!

Went there to meet up with family from out of town only to get accosted by the pretentious guy who works there. Asked us a lot of questions as to why we were there and kicked us out (including my family) for no reason other than we couldn't camp there. Don't visit this unwelcoming place if you want southern hospitality, especially if you're not in retirement. I would give this a -5 stars if I could.
