We had the most amazing experience at this hotel. First, the location is fantastic. It is literally on the Nile (unlike other 5* hotels nearby), so you can relax and enjoy the sound of the water (rather than the traffic between you and the water). I will say the rooms are slightly on the basic side, but the views of the Nile, stunning grounds and beyond wonderful service completely make up for this.
Second, the staff and service are beyond anything I've ever experience. My friend left her Rolex watch and gold jewelry in the safe after check-out. We went to the restaurant and were flagged down by the most honest and lovely housekeeping staff ever - they brought us the items in a lovely box and I literally can't say how floored we were at this amazing service.
I also want to thank the brilliant manager in the Kebabgy Restaurant. We ate there twice, but truly had a fantastic experience on the Monday afternoon lunchtime period. The food and service were amazing.
Finally, the gym, spa and personal trainer at the gym is wonderful. It is a true bargain for the personal trainer and I would highly recommend if you are up to workout overlooking the fantastic Nile.
