Shattered and rusty chairs in the conference room ... (at least 4 feet)

Located right across the airport. Very warm and friendly stuff.

I stayed here for two nights when I missed my connection to continue my traveling.
The staff is very kind and helpful and the most are speaking English very well.
For "missed-flight-people" there is a buffet where you can get food. Enough choice, not extraordinary.
By train there is a good connection to the city center of Athens, it takes you there in 45-60 minutes.

Clean but for the price would have expected cold AC.

The decoration of the restaurant is indescribable. Service courteous. The dishes are very tasty. They just need an improvement in their image.

Great room, super TV, very soft beds, but food is very expensive.

Excellent customer service! Extremely convenient for long layovers at the airport. The restaurants are exceptional. Rooms are quiet and comfortable. I love the shower/tub design. Very refreshing!!!

It's expensive but it's chic, it's perfectly located in front of the airport, and for us it's the start of the vacation, so we like it anyway ...

In the immediate vicinity of the airport, connected by a long corridor. Very chic and luxury, do not forget to go by the pool.

A very nice hotel just across the main terminal building. Rooms are very comfortable and quiet, staff helpful and professional. The clientele is mostly for business and transit since the hotel is like the airport far from Athens.

This hotel is the only hotel at the Athens airport. If you have to fly the next morning this hotel is a must. Most of the rooms are not renovated and they are old. The price is a bit high for this hotel. One of the towels in the room wasnt changed as it had lipstick on it. Other than that the room was clean but it could be cleaner.

Very disappointed this time around. Stayed at hotel many times (at least 6 times). Paid close to 100 more this time which it may be reasonable this time of season BUT room was half the size that I normally get. Room normally had sofa and table. This time no sofa.

I am handicapped and have a hard time getting room with a shower. Had to change 3 rooms before finally getting what I asked for. A handicapped person in a wheelchair/ walker has a hard to get in bathtub.

Very nice staff .... large spacious rooms. You have the means of transport only 2 minutes ... in front of the hotel so you can move very easily anywhere you want .... to the beach or Athens.

Great stay at Sofitel in Athens. Their breakfast is amazing, we also spend some time at the spa on the 9th floor. Dora and Stella did an amazing job.

What can we say about Sofitel Hotel.
A beautiful decorated Hotel with a modern look, gleaming floors and very pleasant staff.
A very convenient place to stay when you have just landed from a long trip and want to sleep and relax before you start your trip to Greece. Very comfortable room, soft sheets and pillows.
We love this place ! It is right across the street from the airport.... Restaurants are right in the Hotel and a bar at the Hotel entrance.
At the airport doors when you exit, there is a coffee shop with many, many things you can eat and you can walk across the road to Sofitel.......Fantastic !

Great hotel at a walking distance from the terminal.

Good for transits. Very modern interiors. Well maintained facilities. Warm water was a bit hard to get to the right temperature. Was either cold or boiling hot and hard to find the balance.

Before you do business with this hotel - remember how they acted during a crisis. The hotel is shut down and my family in turn is cancelling our dream vacation. We had 8 other accommodations that understood this and refunded us. Sofitel refused to refund us, even though their doors will not even be open at this time. Find another place to stay with some sort of ethical compass.

We love 'having to overnight at the airport' when it means a trip begins or ends here!

Reception staff were warm, friendly and efficient in dealing with checking customers in and out of the hotel. Reception were very helpful in satisfying any issues. Have stayed here on every occasion when travelling in or as a stop over to other countries.
Restaurant and Spa charges need to be reviewed and adjusted - ( too expensive). If they are, then I am sure more clients would utilise the onsite facilities.

Really disappointing experience. We booked a room with a 'runway view', but all we could see was the airport carpark. Room service let themselves in to our room without knocking, while I was getting changed - very embarrassing and no apology! Food is massively overpriced. Would never recommend. Much better idea to stay in town and pay for a taxi to the airport.

This is the perfect location, across the street from the Athens airport, so no need to worry about making your flight. You can also catch the metro here to Athens city center for about 10 euros. The executive club is a great deal too, food,drinks and snacks. The rooms/windows are also sound proofed so you won't hear any airport traffic either for a great nights sleep.

Best place to stay if you have to kill a night before an early flight.

Great location at the airport. Conveniant 3 min walk to check-inn. Staff show the typical Greek hospitality, extremely friendly and helpfull and perfect english. The hotel has all the amenities you expect from a five star hotel. Breakfast is high standard. But keep in mind.... Its a business airport hotel. You stay longer only if you are stuck or have business on the airport. For a five star hotel the rooms are small and a bit dated but very quiet. Room names like 'superior' promise a lot but are the standard room and like any room you get in every other business hotel. I expect that rooms in a five star hotel are in mint condition always and still i find loose armatures, shower head and wall mounted clothing hooks. The power in my room quit about 3 times per evening probably caused by the keycard activated switch. The tv is small and with volume capped i had difficulty understanding the movie i watched. And what i always find mind boggeling is the 5 star service you already paid for is extended in the price of additional services like 7 euro for a non-branded can of coke from the minibar. For that price i expect 5 star quality products. I reluctantly give it 4 star just because all services available, but to me a five star hotel should have the wow factor throughout.

Prices have come down in the last couple of years. It is so convenient and nice now that it is more affordable. The staff are beyond courteous. The atmosphere is really calming and the hotel feels 'high end'. The best part about this hotel is that every room I have stayed in is completely soundproofed. There is no outdoor noise whatsoever. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean and modern. Room service is very expensive as is the restaurant.

Very clean hotel with an amazing breakfast. There are so many options it's difficult to pick one. The fruit is really good, the bread is amazing, the crepes are delicious and made right in front of you, and the smoothies are nice too. The hotel is closely located to the airport which is convenient and close to the metro to travel to attractions in Athens. The metro ride is about an hour.

Great hotel, restaurant food is average. Food was not as we were told and they wanted to charge us and not exchange for something more palatable. In their defense, it could've been lost in translation

Hotel Excellent. Missing toothbrush and toothpaste

Paid a ridicolous amount of money for mediocre rooms, a tiny pool with ants crawling around, an even tinier sauna with exactly one shower attached, a bathroom reeking of sewage and (at least) average food. It's obvious that the can only charge those sums due to their unique position at the airport. Shame on them.

5 real stars. Convenient location for short business trips

Three hotel does not live up to Sofitel standards at all. The rooms are in major need of renovation. The carpets are bordering on gross, room felt dingy, and food was only fair. Only reason to stay here is if you have an early flight.

Sofitel Hotel is a glamorous hotel with all the facilities. What s best is it is just across the Athens International Airport. The staff at this hotel are courteous and accommodative.

A great hotel for those not wanting to travel into Athens city or do sight seeing. Inside the airport grounds, exterior to the airport structure. Once you're there, you'd hardly know that you were so close. The hotel has several indoor dining room and an outdoor dining area that is a very pleasant place to sit and have a drink or meal.
The rooms are spacious and windows are fitted with sliding wooden panels so the room can be made completely dark. Wardrobe, bathroom and toilet are separated from the sleeping area so you won't disturb your sleeping partner and are to the front of the room so hallway noise will not disturb you. The bathrooms are spacious and are fitted with a bath and large shower with both rain wall shower heads.

We always enjoy visiting this hotel! A quality hotel so, of course, the cost reflects this but the service and accommodation are excellent. A relaxing evening before a flight the following day!

A bit pricey for want you get

I have not stayed overnight at this hotel. I visited it because of a seminar. I have to say that it is an amazing hotel in perfect location for those who, for whatever reason, have to be found in the wider area of the airport. All employees of course are very helpful. Unfortunately, I can not talk about charges as I have not stayed there but it certainly does not look financial. The breakfast I tried was just amazing. Superfluous .. sweet and salty flavors I was completely satisfied.

Can't comment on the rooms and services, as I have never stayed as a guest at the hotel, but 7 euro for a small mainstream beer? You serious?!?

The plane could not start. We had to stay at the airport hotel. There is nothing wrong with this. Everything great. Only for the price I would have deducted a star but we had to pay anything.

Outstanding hotel directly across the street from the airport! I never heard a plane either night. 5 star hotel!
