I stayed at the hotel after my flight was canceled, I was thrilled with the space, luxurious and minimal, very clean, the staff very friendly and smiling, the location great, especially if you travel by plane. The food I tried was nice, although I probably did not try the best dishes on the menu. I highly recommend!

Great hotel ... Disappointing breakfast ... Years ago it was not like that.

This was a nice place to stay while in Athens. It is about a 30 minutes drive by cab to the historic area. But this is right across the road from the airport and the hotel is modern and beautiful. The Concierge was very helpful. The breakfast was very good as well.

If you really want to enjoy it, choose this hotel! It's just awesome without words. Great service, comfortable bed, spa and a great breakfast

Although it is in front of the airport there is no noise of these inside the rooms and you can rest quietly

We were only staying 1 night in athens (transit) and found this the perfect hotel. The room was roomy and modern. Plenty of facilities like pool and gym as well.

The hotel has an amazing restaurant which does buffet and a la carte. We went the a la carte option and it was amazing ( and pricey) but amazing.

Airport hotel! Too little is offered for 184 a night. But there are few good alternatives for early flights from Athens. Terminal and rental car counter in a short walking distance. And if the rental car goes back a day earlier, depending on the vehicle class, you get a large part of the rent. Half a star deduction because of the long queue at the check-in (30 minutes waiting time) and a half star deduction because of the 184 without breakfast .....
SPA area and restaurant closed due to Covid-19! Room was quiet and rain shower really good! Minibar unfortunately switched off or locked.
You can only take the newly renovated rooms in the higher category!

Super conveniently located directly across from the Athens International Airport. Our plane was delayed and didn't arrive after 1am, so I was very appreciative of the complementary upgrade to a 7th floor executive-level room with two queen beds (Thanks Sofitel staff!!) Once the door was closed, no noise from the airport or guests could be heard in our room. Beds were super comfortable with clean white duvets. Appropriate amount of furniture for a business hotel (sitting areas, desk, TV stand, closet). Our bathroom was large with separate L-shaped shower/tub combo and Hermes toiletries. Free Wi-Fi that is appropriate for email and checking basic website is provided at no additional cost, and higher bandwidth service is available for a fee. There is a restaurant (open 24-hours) and bar onsite in the lobby. Other than that, besides the airport, there is nothing else to see, eat, or do in the immediate vicinity. This hotel is not inexpensive, we booked our room 3 weeks before it trip and paid around 250 euros/ night for a basic room, so you are paying a premium for a nice hotel that is adjacent to the airport. To anyone that's arriving late or has an early flight out of Athens, stay at the Sofitel and save yourself about 1.5 hours of time and 80 euros for not having to make a round trip into downtown Athens.

Close to the airport nice and easy. Very relaxing atmosphere. Service was great from the concierge to the bag handler to the guy that serves the drinks.

Very nice hotel, just across the street from the airport. Very convenient. Has a restaurant and bar however we did not eat or drink there. Rooms were well appointed.

In these strange times, we felt safe during our stay. The staff were really attentive and welcoming.

Beautiful hotel. There are all the services you could wish for: swimming pool, sauna, gym, spa ..... Breakfast is princely, there is everything and more. The rooms are very large and the beds are very comfortable. The staff is very kind and helpful. Truly a pleasant experience. Breakfast is served from 5am.

A surprisingly upscale airport hotel! Room was clean, cozy, and vibrant. If you're lucky enough to have breakfast included with your room, do not miss it! The breakfast blew my mind.

Beautiful rooms but the rooms smell a lot and they smell shutter .. There are no windows that is not meant.I do not care why I heard press excuses that because of a security airport etc etc .... I am interested that is the first last hotel I went without a personalized window

Very nice hotel inside, hotel staff very welcoming, pampering and very clean rooms, personally I took a room because I had a few hours to spend until the flight and because there is a closure so I preferred to rest comfortably and not on the field benches, not cheap but not in the sky considering the alternative. Overall a very good hotel

The hotel is right at the airport. Really deserves his 5 . From here, the Acropolis and the city center can be easily reached by metro.

The hotel was located conveniently next to the airport which was perfect for us since we had a very early morning flight the next day.

This place is really good. The staff is really helpful and expert in what do. To be honest I wasn't expecting this level of quality at an airport hotel. Rooms are clean and pretty posh. :)

Luxurious large hotel with amazing staff and large.convention halls!

I loved my stay at Sofitel. It was beyond my expectations. The staff was very polite and professional. The hotel and the rooms were very clear and the quality of my sleeping time was excellent. They offered us a native traditional cake because of New Year s eve.
They have restaurant, spa, disabled people s accesses.

Great place in the airport, it was pity that all the facilities were close

It's a Sofitel, French luxury, everything is perfect, there's nothing else to say, the French have invented them and no one is better than them to be a guest

From the big class! Unfortunately we did not have the time to enjoy it enough. Arrived late and left early the next day.

We could leave 3 large pieces of luggage in storage for a week, at no cost on our way to Myanmar. We stopped overnight on our way back to Athens airport for an early flight connection to Rome.

A very nice and elegant hotel. The rooms are a little small but it's right across from the airport so still very convenient. Guest that book a luxury room get access to the 8th floor lounge which has complimentary drinks and snacks

Nice hotel. Rooms were little small though but got great service.

I would like to tell you why exactly I paid 1 coffee and a bottle of water 10 euro. The bar area was noticed. Even the folders that came into the account were ancient. And all of this does not matter if it was to charge normal prices. And I knew of course that it would be more expensive than normal. But the prices you have are not worth the product and the environment you offer.

Great hotel - perfect location for early morning flight

This hotel is amazing. The rooms are gorgeous! The pool and the restaurants are awesome! The staff is the best. They are pet friendly and extremely accommodating! Even though we only stayed 1 night I can't wait to come back to Greece just to stay here again!!!

I stayed here for one night , but it wasn't enough
I landed at 15 pm straight to the hotel
Waited less then 5 min to get the keys to the room
The room is beautiful you can really see that they invested in the hotel
The bed is comfortable and it was such a delight to get a shower after the flight .
They have closed pool that open until 23:00
My flight back was at 05:00 and I really wanted to eat breakfast , apparently you can even at 4 in the morning
Got my cappuccino right away with some fresh fruits ,
If you have a night in Athens don't miss this hotel , and if you want to go to the city the metro in 5 min walk away and the ticket costs 8 euro one way to the city .

Excellent cost-benefit and is opposite the airport.

The check in and room was fine. We ate lunch in the restaurant too.

Two complaints: the pool needs a sign posting the depth and that there is no walk in or shallow area. I am 5 7 and there was only a ladder that went part way. I would have had difficulty getting in and out.
Also, after using the toilet, you have to go in the shower area to wash your hands which is inconvenient especially when someone is taking a shower!

I was not here that long but the people seemed nice and the bakery outside was amazing

I had to call reception 4 times to get a WiFi code. This is abnormal in a hotel of this category. The iron does not work ....
A bad experience.

Excellent! Extremely convenient - the hotel is literally one minute from the entrance of the airport. Great room and good breakfast. The only downside was the window in the room, which was not openable. This makes it feel like a prison almost! Good Wi-Fi.

All offers of the hotel did not exist, related to Covid 19 and the drinks in the bar were very expensive in the price-performance ratio-the breakfast in the cardboard bag-took a lot of getting used to and no coffee. A shame for this price - not a reasonable service! Rooms clean and the air conditioning worked perfectly!

The Sofitel Athens Airport Hotel was awesome! Right from the beginning @ the front desk with the staff. They were very friendly and helpful! The lobby, elevators and hallways were very clean! There were hand sanitizing stations everywhere! The room was spacious, very clean and deluxe! Big screen television. Chairs and counters to sit at. Mini fridge, coffee/tea station, cupboards, drawers and big armoir with a safe. The beds very comfortable with nice, fluffy pillows and duvets. Both with end tables and multi-lighting options. The shower and bathing room superb! I loved the showerhead! And the size of the shower and bathtub! And I loved that there was a separate room for the toilet! And to top it all off, the room service menu and service was fantastic! I would happily return to stay here again and I highly recommend it! And it is super convenient, as it is literally feet away from the airport! Bravo Sofitel!

Brilliant service! We arrived after midnight and they kindly served food for our little one.. Very kind stuff, comfortable room, nice facilities. Definitely a go to again
