My dinner never came out. Well, it came out until after my party ate. The waiter was.kind and the man at the front was also kool. They have a very silly policy, no hats, although I respect it, I don't agree with it. Inwas well dressed and Inhad a hat, I couldn't go in with the hat, but if I had a scully it would have been fine. Intook my son's and went in. Again, my dinner camenout after my party ate, so I cancled it.

I had the opportunity to finally visit here today after talking about it for months! Totally worth the trip and wait. Amazing atmosphere, great vibes and excellent customer service. Food was delicious and quick! Can not wait to come back again!

Beautiful place, food was good. The reason they are getting 2 star is because, we had a party of nine, 1 of my friends was late, the manager gave hard time for her to join the table

Soco is a cool spot for brunch. They aren't consistent though entree wise. I've been quite a few times and only the first time was everything hitting. The cornbread is pretty legit though. They also use a guava butter, I believe. Pretty ill. There are so many other places in BK though.

I went to SoCo with my girlfriend to have a night out and the service was horrible!!!! We got seated and waited an entire 30 minutes and STILL DID NOT GET SERVED! A couple who got seated after we did got served while we sat there looking stupid. So we left. Do NOT waste your time going there cause their service sucks.

Skip the appetizers. The portion is small for the hefty price; entree s as well! I paid more then I anticipated. Price for the drinks... expensive. The chicken waffles tasted good and the side grits were delicious. The atmosphere was good.

PS. The servers could use a hairnet for the amount of hair on there backs.

I may come back.

Food was good. Could have used a bit more spice. Service was awful. Waitress not helpful. If you come her make sure you request before hand to have your check split! The process is antiquated.

I don't know why I've never heard of this place but it's incredible and I believe Black owned. The atmosphere is great and the food is amazing. I don't usually take pictures of my food but you just have to!

I asked for no bun on my burger, but feel free to enjoy the original lol. Anyone that knows me knows I love Soco. I think they need to change the menu up a little while keeping some of the dishes. Those plain cornbread rolls with that special butter are sooo good. Always a good time.

Waiter was very pleasant. We had the skirt steak with potatoes and collard greens, chicken and waffles, rice and beans, Mac & Cheese and the corn bread. Everything was absolutely delicious.

The food is delicious, place is warm and inviting. Had a very friendly waiter, Lucas. Very friendly, but was kinda pouring it on to thick. Sometimes less is more. It's ok to check on your table, let us just eat without the random ramblings... other than that. It's a wonderful place for brunch and dinner.

Before Coronavirus this was a great place ,but cause of the outside dining it's not that great just asking about a table could be 20 mins before any of the staff see's you and when they realize that your standing .when I asked if the tables were available they told a party that was not showing up for about 2hrs ,so they closed it off .they could do better

First time in here and the bouncer is harrassing another patron next to me asking her to remove her baseball cap. Meantime, my friend is sitting next to me with her brim hat on. Bizarre and a turn off. First and last

Service was amazing and food was pretty good! I took off one star because I ordered the brisket and it had extra kick back as in some sort of spice. It was only described as slow cooked so I wasn t anticipating that nor do I think brisket needs to be spicy. Other than that my friend and I enjoyed the atmosphere and our appetizers.

Had the salmon and it was AMAZING! presentation was good. And cooked perfectly. All of the waiters/waitresses even if they weren't ours asked us how the food was and if we needed anything. I definitely would recommend it to anyone who is in the area.

Delivers well on the comfort food. My favorite mac n cheese, with a unique garlicky flavor. Other favorites include the pecan crusted pork chop and fried chicken and red velvet waffle. Not my favorite beer/cocktails, and it us often crowded.

When I was on the hunt for macaroni and cheese, this place came up in the reviews. It is very Clinton Hill, with the business hipsters, fly kids and occasional c star tv actors. It gets crowded during the weekends, which makes it tough to use it as a last minute dinner spot. With that said, I dig the mac and cheese, it is the best thing on the menu, cheesy crusty top, garlic laced and full of flavor. Other than that, I can't speak on the rest of the menu but my friends love the chicken and waffles.

The food is delicious here! This weekend I decided to get food to go. My order was mixed up but the bartender was very accommodating. She served a complimentary drink to my friend and I. She also have the three kids sprite in to go cups!

One of my ultimate favs for brunch. The french toast is to die for! Usually about 20+ minutes for a table. They have a patio area in the back, it's cute but seems closed off in a way. I often recommend this place to many people when speaking of brunch spots.

Nice vibe and atmosphere with pretty great food and drink options. I came here with a group for a birthday dinner, and we had a great time! The music was a little loud inside the restaurant, but luckily we were seated out back where it was a little quieter and easier to have conversation. The service was good and the place wasn't overcrowded. I will definitely be back!

I wasnt impressed with the food one bit, I ordered the cajun pasta, it was so bland that I had to ask for salt, my friends sister ordered the collards, and they were so tasteless.. We ordered 3 cocktails, 2 appetizers, and 4 entrees. We paid $186 dollars, and we left out of their still hungry.. The portions were very small. Dont get me wrong, it's a beautiful restaurant, with a nice ambiance. I feel that they are loosing focus on the the food, the best thing going was the Mac & Cheese.. Their menu needs to be revised, it's small, and not enough options for a soulfood restaurant, and for that reason, I will not be returning.

Beautiful digs and people watching, to be sure. But overrated, terrible service. Except for the mac and cheese, the food is horrendously overseasoned. Not fresh, and uninspired. Also... so. Many. Nasty. Flies.

Low rating due to our waiter's lack of professionalism. Very busy on Sundays, reserve ahead. The Mac and cheese and their chicken and red velvet waffles were good. Would not suggest their steak and eggs. Overcooked the steak and neither the steak or the eggs had any salt/flavor.

This restuarant was referred by Brookly NY resident. Location geat. I order centered cut pork chops, mashed sweet potatoes and collard greens. The presentation of my food I ordered was different...greens, sweet potatoes and pork chops was piled on top of each other that was different. My taste bud was OFF. I notice lots of customers left the collard greens on there plates... hmmmmm!

Nice atmosphere & staff. Sangria was tasty. The food was decent I purchased the blackened salmon. The salmon needed to soak in the seasoning a little bit more and the sweet potato mash had too much citrus in it. I did not complete my meal. However I would go again to try another dish off the menu.

Went here after the nets game. Has an "A" rating from the city. Ordered ( Sunday brunch-all day) herb flank steak - a little tough, but delicious and cooked perfectly, lobster and shrimp grits ( fabulous), mac n cheese ( yummy) , fish n chips ( very good), and red velvet waffle with fried chicken ( delicious)! WAit staff was very good and friendly. A total recommend! They have an enclosed patio that is heated also. Really enjoyed this place. Cocktails good too!
