For a suite for $276 a night I really thought we should have had at least a table to sit at and or a living room . Also the toilet ran constantly and the shower leaked and the refrigerator was very loud.

Buffet was not worth the money. Not enough food choices. Food was not hor either. They brought us to our table and there was a full bus tub on one of the chairs.
About what you'd expect from a casino resort in Michigan. I was a pleasant stay, nice room. Would be five starts but the toilet scared me when I flushed it (loud!).
Went there on the 4th of July - Rooms are very expensive even on non holidays - Need to be a club member to get a reasonable rate otherwise they boost the price. It's not like LV casinos or hotels, no one was celebrating a major win lots of sad players. Set your spend limits and then walk away...
The basic rooms are pretty basic and not really large, but are still pretty comfortable. The larger suits are much more impressive with lots of space. The resort has a casino that is pretty nice, with a good variety of games and options for whatever you want to play. Plenty of bars in the casino and a few restaurants throughout. The casino is primarily smoking, but there is a non smoking section in the back. There is a decent auditorium where they have concerts and other events. The resort is located a good distance from the city, so you will need a car to go anywhere outside the resort.
We ate at the diner. The food was delicious and the prices were reasonable. We gambled on the slot machines after dinner. We lost but still had fun. Would highly recommend to friends.
Overall experience was fair with pleasant staff and a great atmosphere. The room itself was shockingly out of date for being a resort. Stayed in the superior room with a soaking tub. The water temperature wouldn't get hot and the bed was large but uncomfortable. We stayed at a holiday in the night before and had a better quality room for a fraction of the price. We were just expecting a little more from Soaring Eagle.
SMOKE.... SMOKE... SMOKE... wake up.... we won'the be back until your Smoke Free! Poor atmosphere to RANK .... everything smells .. hair ,clothing... damn get a clue!
Soaring eagle sucks. Couldn't win a dollar and spent 60. Wife and I played two machines exactly a like and when we tried to cash out the machines kept rolling on highest bet taking our money. Casino managers could care less and blamed it on sensitive touch screens. They offered nothing to resolve the situation. Also, I have a hero card from serving and get comped 10 dollars for food. Went to buy a overpriced jar of cheese balls and was told I couldn't purchase with the comp money. Funny, I was at the Standish casino and they offered all kinds of items that could be purchased with comp money. I thought they consolidated the properties as one. Will not be back!!!
My wife and I stayed the night for our anniversary and we absolutely loved it here. The whole establishment is filled with modern touhes while maintaining it's roots to the past.
Great times, typically come home with more than we brought. Facility is clean and the employees are always so friendly and helpful. We love going to Soaring Eagle!
It seems that all the our comps away And you take our free rooms away. We use to really enjoy coming to the casino because we had a lot of fun .Now it's like all we do is loss n our promotions aren't worth it anymore.
In my opinion, Soaring Eagle Casino is worth the drive to have a fun-filled experience. The addition of a beautiful, completely enclosed, non-smoking area has my vote. The Casino has added so many new slot machines, the choices are endless. My preference for dining is the Aurora Buffet. However, there are many other dining options to satisfy your appetite.
The Soaring Eagle Casino has become one our favorite destinations.
Finally they have a nice non-smoking area. The soup, salad, dessert buffet is very good and very reasonably priced. Overall, vastly better than Greektown Casino.
Craps table was a blast. Had money everywhere and went on a roll! Even the lit boss was having a good time with us. Drinks are cheap too. Shuttle even takes is back to the water park.
What wasn't great was you cant here dealers or floor or others when you talk because of the masks..the masks take away the enjoyment of visiting a destination casino...
So I dont know if Iwill drive 2 hours to Soaring eagle when I am close to Firekeepers casino....
Unless soaring eagle makes it worth my time.. Just speaking from my experience yours may be different or worse....
The staff and accommodations are wonderful. The casino is large and has a wide variety of games for any budget. Would recommend for any adult couple seeking a 'staycation'
A fun place to go for a evening of entertainment. The outdoor concerts in the summer are enjoyable and the seating generally offers a good veiw to the stage. The perks program for cardholders used to be quite generous. This has changed considerably for the worse as well as the payouts on the slot machines.
I went to that casino previously and had a great time. I also had a great time when I went the second time. It is a great casino with lots of entertainment.
They have changed so much ... My wife and I have been coming there for anniversary every year for the last 20 years, and at least 2 other times a year also. Tonight we found out we could not get rooms for anniversary, and that within a week of our anniversary the hotel would be going totally non smoking.. . So after 20 years, we will no longer be going to soaring Eagle. On our last trip, I did get to say good bye to Paul, a long time bartender in the casino that was retiring and that I had talked to in joked with for many years I will miss calling Room service in the morning to talk to Jen or Melissa how about our paint thinner... COFFEE!!!
We enjoyed everything but the staff at Legends' Diner. They were unenthusiastic, and they only had one cashier at the peak of lunch rush. It took 10 minutes to get change for a $50 bill IN A CASINO.
Stayed during the week. Rates were ok but still seemed high. No breakfast included. Bummer. Rooms need new carpet. Burn holes all over!! But staff was all very nice. Water park was fun!
