Lots of terrain and capacity in relation to crowds. The food in the lodges is generally excellent enough to justify the cost. Only complaint is that bathrooms are horrifyingly inconveniently located, especially for this of us with numerous kids.

This place is great for skiing and for mou rain biking. It has a variety of trails ranging for cross country to downhill. It's got climbs that want to make you puke, and descents that want to make you scream. Bathrooms and lodges are nice and clean and they're also adding a mini golf course. Basin has got everything.

Snowbasin is the first place I've snowboarded at in over 20 years! Love the terrain, the lifts are great, and people are friendly there. They change the layout frequently with terrain parks and the like which keeps you on edge...toe or heel...Anywho, great place to meet up with friends and family. Plus, it's a short drive from Ogden or Davis County! Shred the slopes!

Me and my wife came down from Canada for a 5 day ski trip this weekend, our journey started at Snowbasin. Today me, my wife and 50 other people were told by two ski patrol that strawberry was open after they finished one last bombing. So we waited for two minutes then the bomb was shot then said yup it s open you re good! So we preceded down the run to find out that the lift was closed at the bottom. We had two options first we could wait until 12 ish when it opens for real. Second off we could hike up to penny lane (a cat track that takes you back to the main side). We chose the second option knowing we wanting to ski more. Mistake on our part it was a grueling hike full of trials and tribulations. The resort itself is very nice however the staffing could use some more effective communication skills to get the correct information across to paying costumers!

Snowbasin is a true gem! Wonderful facilities, great food and the free Sunday shows are just grand.
Your staff are very friendly, and smiles were on all of them. It seems they all are invested in the Mountain and love their jobs.
Thanks for all your hard work, it shows!

We bought season passes this year for the whole family. We had a lot of fun on opening day the mountain was beautiful with blowing show and lots of energy and excitement in the air. My only complaint was they were playing music so loud that we couldn't hear each other speak. I was concerned that my children would suffer hearing loss. Some of the songs were not appropriate for children. It ruined the experience for us If it is like this every time we go I'm going to ask for a refund on our season passes. Otherwise, everything else was wonderful.

We went to Blues and Brews. They have a couple live bands and lots of different types of beer. For those of you that can't have gluten or if you don't like beer, they have mix drinks. If you spend $32 you get a nice mug. You can come back ANYTIME and get your mug filled for $8. They also do the same type of thing for the mixed drinks. It's $25 for the mug and $8 refill.

Snowbasin does not honor the Mountain Collective benefit, despite their claims. If there is a breeze, they close 2/3 of the lifts. Most of the mountain is full of the worst skiers and boarders in Utah, snow plowing and scraping all the snow away before noon on the few runs open if the wind blows. The few chairs that do run when the weather isn't perfect stop every 2 minutes because the awful skiers with no situational awareness can't load or unload. I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 star, because I'd rather be skiing than doing anything else with my time, and Snowbasin is a ski resort. There are literally 7 world class ski resorts within 60 miles of SnowBasin, and I've skied them all. They are all so much better than Snow Basin. If you choose to ski this place instead of Alta, Brighton, Powder, Snowbird, Park City, Solitude, or Deer Valley, you have made a costly mistake.

I'd never been to a resort this big before, and I'm glad I chose Snowbasin for my first. Snowbasin has tons of awesome terrain for all skill levels. I loved there amount of advanced terrain! Also, the staff here are super nice and helpful. This is a great resort!

Favorite Mountain Resort in Utah. Lacks easy trails and the few they have are extreamely crowded. Full of intermediate to difficult skiing great powder, friendly staff and gorgous mountains. I wouldnt reccomend learning here but if you are an advanced skier this is one of the best places to ski in Utah.

We went at the end of the season and the snow was still really great. The employees were very nice and helpful. The mountain is great, but there didn't appear to be a lot of slopes that were open, so we weren't able to see the whole mountain, but it's expected because it's the end of the season.

The 2002 Olympics were held here so this place is over the top classy. The lodge is beautiful with oak, marble and brass everywhere. I felt like I was in someones fancy living room and shouldn't be wearing ski boots! lol. The skiing is good too.

I'll just say it's beyond fabulous! Just know the food prices are high & be prepared for that. Worth it, in my opinion though! * *

Grew up skiing at Basin so the nostalgia is great....always been my fave. The newer amenities are nice, but oh do I miss the inexpensive lift pass! Great snow and tons of trails for all levels.

The staff were so friendly. Even with low snowfall this year, they make great snow after hours and the coverage was certainly good enough. Lots of terrain variety and comfortable lifts. Strongly recommend.

Great terrain in the winter and lots of events through the summer as well. Lodges are well maintained and the food is pretty good. The only thing lacking is an rfid system for lift access.

Utah has lots of fantastic resorts, and Snowbasin is definitely one of them. It isn't as sprawling as Canyons, and it generally doesn't get as much snow as Snowbird as or Brighton. It does have a huge amount of open terrain, more annual snow fall than anything outside of Little or Big Cottonwood canyons, and way less traffic than anything close to SLC or PC.

I have been up to snowbasin a few times for blues brews and BBQ and most recently for beerfest. Amazing selection of beer from a bunch of breweries for a great price. Great music and atmosphere to escape Utah for a while on a Sunday.

Security acted like we were criminals for having a pocket knife and a $4. root beer that we purchased from them. They also refused to honor a 2017 beer mug refill that promised if you brought it once, it was only $8. refills thereafter. No fun!
