Snowbasin does not honor the Mountain Collective benefit, despite their claims. If there is a breeze, they close 2/3 of the lifts. Most of the mountain is full of the worst skiers and boarders in Utah, snow plowing and scraping all the snow away before noon on the few runs open if the wind blows. The few chairs that do run when the weather isn't perfect stop every 2 minutes because the awful skiers with no situational awareness can't load or unload. I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 star, because I'd rather be skiing than doing anything else with my time, and Snowbasin is a ski resort. There are literally 7 world class ski resorts within 60 miles of SnowBasin, and I've skied them all. They are all so much better than Snow Basin. If you choose to ski this place instead of Alta, Brighton, Powder, Snowbird, Park City, Solitude, or Deer Valley, you have made a costly mistake.
