Been coming here for two seasons, it's a surprisingly large and nice resort. It can get pretty crowded in the middle bowl area, but John Paul and Strawberry both have great terrain if you're not a beginner. The lodges are fairly new and quite nice, with reasonably priced food that is always tasty. The biggest cons are the single road that goes up to the resort (which can get heavily trafficked on good snow days in the morning), and it can get pretty crowded on Saturdays.

We had a great time. Only $3 to store a bookbag, and $5 for a big tub to store whatever. I felt like those rates were very reasonable. We went there because they participated with the epic pass. The sign said no eating brown bag lunch in the lodge, but no one said anything, which was really appreciated.

Snowbasin is a 5 star ski resort. It has everything that you need and more if you are willing to pay for it. The skiing though is fantastic. The gondolas make this place amazing. The ability to ride more terrain in less time is fantastic. The food is very good but pricey. (Love the cheese fries to share with the kids). The staff is great. My only real issue is the main bathroom location is all the way downstairs in the main lodge. But here is a little secret in the gift shop/other building there is a small bathroom that no one really goes too.

On a busy day or holiday you better leave your house early enough to get to the parking lot at 8am. Otherwise plan on adding another 30 to 45 minutes to your drive. If you do get stuck in the long line of cars, plan on other vehicles cutting in line by passing you and flipping U turns. Also, don't park on the side of the road because you're sick of waiting in a line of cars. Today over 75 cars were towed from a certain section of road. Merry Christmas from snowbasin. It does say no parking, but after waiting in your car for over 30 minutes, people just start parking there. Parking lots are seldom sufficient on a crowded day. Ski patrollers are often rude and seem to profile younger snowboarders as reckless while permitting older skiers to ride just as reckless as snowboarders. You can't bring your own lunch into the lodge or in the premises of the patios. The food is overpriced. Day tickets will burn a hole through your wallet. While snow making is convenient, mixed with big crowds certain patches on runs get very icy. I've had a season pass to this mountain for a decade. The mountain great, it's steep, vast, and the lifts give you access to plenty of untouched. But other than that... don't go on busy days.

I wish every bride and groom could have the experience we did for our wedding. It was truly a fairy tale. Kristine Cline and the Snowbasin staff were top notch. I cannot speak highly enough for this venue. It was absolutely perfect in every way.

My now husband and I decided we wanted to get married in the mountains during the winter. We live in TN so I was a little nervous about planning a wedding from afar. I came across Snowbasin online and reached out. We spoke to Kristine Cline, the event coordinator and then scheduled a video call with her so she could show us what Needles Lodge looked liked decorated for a wedding. We loved it so much we immediately picked a date and signed the contract. A few months later we went out there and saw the venue and met with Kristine. Kristine had everything ready for us to plan the entire wedding while we were there. We had a food tasting, chose the linen colors, the layout etc. This was so nice to have most everything done in one day. Additionally, Kristine gave us Snowbasin s preferred vendor list. We scheduled meetings and had the photographer, the flourist and the officiant all finalized on this trip as well.

Once we got close to the wedding, Kristine was on top of everything and did not miss a beat. Because of all of her preparation and organization when it came to the the wedding day everything went so smoothly. I literally could not pick one thing I would change about our wedding. I did not have to remind anyone to do anything. They were on top of every little detail including opening our hand warmers 45 mins before the ceremony started so they would be warm for our guests.

The ceremony was straight out of a movie. Some of our guests kept saying they felt like they were in a hallmark movie from the second they got in the gondola. The backdrop on the patio at Needles was breathtaking. Our officiant, Kamrin Carver was the best I have ever seen and I am not just saying that because he did our wedding.

We had a sit down dinner for 100 guests. The food was so delicious. The passed appetizers and warm fireplace were perfect to come in to after the ceremony outside. The entrees, sides and dessert were incredible. And trust me you do not need to worry about enough food, they are incredibly generous with their portions. We also had late night snacks which everyone loved. The wait staff and bartenders were so professional.

Needles Lodge was picturesque. The chandeliers, big stone fireplaces and views are among the many beautiful aspects. You do not need much in terms of flowers and decor because the Lodge is so grand that anything else will take away from its beauty. Our florist, Lund Floral did a fabulous job keeping the flowers simple and elegant to compliment the Lodge.

After dinner we danced the night away using Snowbasins DJ, Richie. He was so fun and did a awesome job. Needles has a great dance area and the lighting and equipment were great.

Most of our guests got out there on Wednesday or Thursday and enjoyed Snowbasins awesome skiing it has to offer.

The wedding from start to finish was so classy and elegant. Everyone we worked with from the Snowbasin staff to their preferred vendors were incredible and I cannot recommend this venue enough! I can t wait to get all the beautiful pictures back from Brandon Burke!

Season pass holder for many years, got injured at work mid season 2019-2020 and only got 4 days on my season pass before covid shut everything down early. I called many times and left messages about getting some kind of discount even on a 2020-2021 season and was told i was too late when i finally got someone to answer.

Snowbasin is an excellent Resort, and maintains the highest caliber of employee. I've never seen long lines (outside of the base area), the mountain is enormous, and the views of Ogden Valley are unparalleled. I've logged a respectable amount of time at almost every resort in Utah, but Snowbasin will always be my home Resort.

I live in Eden and we spend many of our days at Snowbasin.

Slowly I have seen the overall experience decline. Today (the Fathers Day Event) was an all time worst.

I had a client in town with his family. He is the CEO of large publically traded company, and I thought it would be a great idea to have our families come to Snowbasin.

There were a total of 12 people and my bill was just over $500. Within minutes of eating my client found six (6) hairs in his ribs. That is unacceptable and not sanitary. I was very embarrassed.

Everything came to a head when he went in to get a drink. He was stopped and told that drinks are not included. He noted to her that he understood this and that he paid for a drink. They then went on to say that he could not have a refill and needed to set the cup down or pay for another drink.

Talk about embarrassing. If I spend $500+ in meals I would think a iced tea would be included, or at a minimum the guest not be treated like he was stealing.

I will never be back to Snowbasin events again after this experience. I tried to note my concerns to the staff and nothing was taken care of.

If you are portray a premium experience you need to own that with quality and polite staff.

By far the worst resort to snowboard at. The terrain is basically only ski friendly with crazy long traverse trails attempting to link halves of the mountain together. If you want pay for an over priced lift ticket at a local resort then go and enjoy. We ll never waste our time at Snowbasin again.

Blues Brews and BBQ. Great place to take the family and the dog to listen to some free live music. Food is good although it seemed like they gave you a more generous serving last year. The food is pretty expensive.

It is like visiting a sacred holy site. Don't miss any opportunity to enjoy the elegance and majesty of the basin. The best snow on earth falls on its amazing terrain. Not to mention the services and entertainment are out of this world.

Pretty much everyone already knows Snow Basin, but for those of you who were like me and new to boarding and skiing, I guess this will be for you. The staff was super helpful and nice and the diversity of all the different people made for a great experience. The fire outside really helped, and the free water was fantastic. Wanna go back for sure so that I can actuality skii down the mountain this time rather than fall the whole way down.

Lots of fun to ride up the tram in the summer and have a delicious burger at the needles lodge. Plan to make the short hike up to the ridge to look down on Ogden Valley and Pineview Reservoir, you won't be disappointed.
