If I could give zero stars, I would. Another revie...

If I could give zero stars, I would. Another reviewer commented on how bad the parking was. Well, they totally understated things.

We finally found an open spot on the side of the parking lot next to several other cars. Then, after we were unloaded and geared up, one of the "security" staff drove by and told us we'd need to move--mind you--there were no cones indicating parking wasn't allowed, and as I said, many others had parked in the same place. But, he said that we, "needed to move for our safety." So, we all de-geared, loaded back up, and moved like we were asked. When we came around the lot on the shuttle, not only was there a car in our original spot, there was also a new one right next to it! Seriously?

If you're not going to allow people to park someplace, have the courtesy to place a cone. And, if you are asking people to move, enforce it for everyone. Seeing a car in my same spot, after going through hell to find a different space, was the final straw. We've had season passes for years, and won't be coming back next year.

Such an inconsiderate staff, and so rude. Do yourself a favor and skip Snowbasin. Not worth the money or the enormous hassle.

Visited in the fall and saw some great fall colors. We took advantage of a couple of the many trails they have, and enjoyed them. Difficulty levels vary from a stroll to heroic trails to the tops of mountains, and ask have good views. Lots of parking near the lodge. Many people use this as a mountain biking trail head. Check the gift shop to see if they have a trail map to help you explore.

I have recently posted some very negative comments concerning this summers B,B,& BBQ. I now will retract all but the beer mug issue.
Tall boy beers are still $10, not $12 as reported. The food is excellent according to those who have purchased it. They have added porta-potties to address the over crowded bathrooms. As always the music is great!
My personal thanks to the young people who keep the garbage emptied and the grounds clean, and to the beer garden servers, front gate ladies who have been wonderful. 5 stars to Taylor, Cindy, and Jane. 3 of many.
See you soon.

I took a visit to SLC for a week long snowboarding trip and this one of my favorite resorts not only of the trip but ever visited. Everything ran very smoothly and the lift lines moved quickly. The main lodge was a great spot to grab some lunch and watch everyone coming down the mountain. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a great day on a mountain.

Came here for the Utah Spartan Super race. Beautiful place and scenery while running. Probably not their fault seeing that there were about 3,000 racers there, but parking was horrible. We parked about a mile away and that took a bit away from the experience.

I really like this resort. While it can't compete with the Little Cottonwood Canyon resorts for powder, I think it hits a sweet spot of snow quality, terrain and price. In my experience it usually has better snow than the Park City resorts. Also, they have great mix of groomers, moguls and ungroomed terrain. If I'm by myself I'll usually just get on Wildcat and bomb it under the lift over and over and over...

This is my family's favorite spot to ski and snowboard in the winter and attend concerts in the summer. If I could change a couple of things it would be to offer season passholders discount on food and drinks and/or more open to people bringing their own food/drinks to concerts (e.g).

Love this place. Not necessarily for the snowboarding(even though that's pretty good too), this place has amazing mountain biking. There is a really good race course-style ride(was actually a nica race this year and was a super fun race) that has a little bit of everything: big road climbs, rock gardens, flowy singletrack with ups and downs, and techy downhill. The only thing this place is missing is jumps, so don't come here expecting to send whistler-size jumps. (Go to Deer Valley for that)

I have been to Snowbasin a few times in the winter for skiing and frequently in the summer for other activities. The ski lifts are great and well maintained. The lodges are absolutely stunning (on my first visit I was particularly impressed with the gold colored metal through the bathrooms) the ski runs are awesome and the runs that are groomed are kept nice and smooth. There are other summer activities at Snowbasin such as hiking and mountain biking. One experience has always stuck out to me. One April I was backpacking in the area and decided to hike up to the lodges to use the restrooms. The staff there were so kind and when they discovered some of friends and are were backing in the area they offered us some bottled water and had a great conversation with us about the area. Its a great resort that I love visiting.

The people who choose Snowbasin feel that because the Olympics were held there in 2002 that the objective is to go as fast as humanly possible. There are no rules there. Normally you would be mindful of the people below you. But not at Snowbasin. If you're not doing 84mph on a narrow blue trail then you're wrong. The bathrooms were very elegant and the smoked turkey sandwich was amazing.

This is a world-class resort located in northern Utah the 2002 Winter Olympics were held here in addition to several other racing events during the winter they have a mountain bike events during the summer. There s lots of good trails to walk on. The mountain has an excellent restaurant at the top in addition to some great dining at the lodge at the base of the mountain.

Good variable of terrain, wide open runs, but wasn't really able to explore it properly since it's been so warm and they really lack the snow. The lower half of each run was really spotty and late in the day the snow was so heavy it we a workout to ski.

Kids love the place. They don't like the fact they can't eat their home brought food in the lodge. I won't argue the why's. I'll only say it doesn't matter because to my young kids it's about the experience and how they feel. I hear them talk to family and friends and this does not bode well for snowbasins reputation.

There are so many things to do for people of differing skill sets and skill levels. The staff is very helpful and they try to make sure you are enjoying yourself. Our private trainer, Christopher Lubeck, is the best. He is so patient and is very innovative with thinking of ways to help you understand the skills being taught. We sincerely thank him for teaching our entire family to ski.

The best of all the Utah resorts, in my opinion. People are friendly, the food is delicious, the slopes are varied and the powder is amazing! Also, they sometimes have Santa come up to see the kids on the slopes (He's the real deal; his season pass says so.)

Great place. Perfect for beginning to expert skiers. I tried the learn 'n earn program a few years ago, which is where they give you three lessons and then a season pass, and it worked great. The food is a little pricey, but it's pretty good. Even after the snow melts it's a beautiful area to hike, and there are events weekly all summer long.

Snowbasin is a place of sparkly snow vistas that tantalize the sense of adventure. Pine tree covered terrain freshens up the air so that you can breathe easy while getting in those steep and deep turns that would make Warren Miller blush.

I ve been an avid skier since I was a kid and Snow Basin is one of my favorite resorts by far! For those of you who don t know, Snow basin is a sister resort to the resort in Sun Valley Idaho. Very similar, very nice lodge, with two gondolas and many high speed quads. However, my favorite thing is the variety in terrain. There s runs for everyone from beginner to advanced to trick parks with massive kickers.

Only downside would be the cost with a day pass being around $70-80. If you re gonna go, I would suggest getting a season pass and going at least 3-4 times so you can really get your money s worth.

The staff is simply AMAZING!! Very friendly, helpful and patient! The views are to die for!! I went up to the lounge and the tomato bisque soup was a hit! The restrooms were clean and the resort itself was very easy to get to. As a first time skier (age 38), I took a lesson. I've ice and roller skated before but that's it as far as wearing special shoes for an activity! Those ski boots are tight and hurt your shin! I would have stayed longer had the boots been more comfortable lol! Nevertheless, "The Dave" aka Dave Peterson was an amazing trainer and very encouraging! Thank you again everyone!! This will be something I never forget!!

Ridiculous line for passes. Management is doing nothing to resolve the problem. Terrible. Inconsiderate. The line does not move. Apparently "a new lady" in the only window. Three people at the skiing shop counter doing nothing. The place used to be awesome.

Great lodges and amazing service, however the runs were pretty packed right at opening and only got worse as the day went on! Great skiing, just a little more crowded than I would've preferred
