Had a pass there for 6 seasons, love the terrain but the resort has definitely been on the decline the last few seasons with the new management. Definitely debating on taking my business to another resort.

Amazing facilities! Lodges are top notch and high end. Skiing is usually good, though crowded runs and frustrating traffic on busy days has been a problem the last few years. Watch out on Saturday mornings.

Biased since I grew up not far from here. Even in junior high school we would try to sneak on the bottom lifts and make it into the Middle Bowl and Porky, any kid's paradise! Still today, this resort holds the same allure... enormous, varied terrain and hardly a line to wait in. You can get it all here!

Went there for the free concert. This is quite the setup and fun for everyone. There is food and drinks for the concert and good bands to hear. Lots of room to sit in your chair and listen. If you want to setup a shelter you are in the rear and should arrive early. We had lunch there as well. While the service is not exactly speedy it tastes delicious. We had the cheese fries. I would suggest the loaded fries. We also had the BTLA. These were unconventional with spinach and tomato wedges two cheeses and avocado and very tasty. We also took a gondola ride to the top and did some very hiking around the summit. There is another restaurant at the top that appears nice as well. They also appear to have movie nights on Monday night as well where they project movies on a large screen outdoors. I would expect this is a bit cooler but still seems kind of like a drive-in without the cars. Great place and lots of activities even during the summer.

The lodges here are super nice large log structures. There are some nice patios as well. The gondolas are also pretty neat with cabins for medaled athletes and the second Gondola has countries who have competed in the winter Olympics. The snow this year was quite poor, but the facilities were quite nice. They also have a small tram at the top that hold max 15 people. Great views from up there.
Need to come back whent he snow is better.

Nice accommodations as a result of the Olympics and they've kept them up.variety within the runs is solid but it is amazingly crowded. Has gained in popularity bc Park City and others are generally over crowded as well.

Great ski resort! Always have a good time!
Great, well groomed runs. Pop in to one of the lodges for lunch, or chill by the fire. We always have a good time at Snowbasin!

The mountain itself is great, but I was disappointed with a few things. We went up on a busy day, and getting to the parking took over 30 minutes when it should have been 5. They didn't have their upper lot open, and people started parking along the road. We continued to the main parking lot and skied. During lunch we found out they don't allow sack lunch on the outdoor patio. We also found out that the county had started towing all the cars that had parked along the road (probably close to a 100 cars-but not snowbasin's fault). In the end, it's a nice resort, but you're paying more than you would at other great resorts, and you might have to deal with that big corporation mindset.

Private lesson ski instructors are incredible. The whole resort is full of cheerful employees who are willing and eager to assist. It was a great experience.
The gondola takes you up to some very easy, small hikes. Perfect for a young family, beautiful vistas.

Basin has become our family's ski resort. It is close to our home in Ogden, we can be out the door and on the mountain in about 15 minutes. However we would be willing to travel further just to ski here. We have two girls, one of which just turned 3 and Little Cat is perfect for her to learn the basics. She loves it.

The weekends are crazy, Sunday not as bad as Saturday, but again worth it. Earl's lodge at the base can get packed but great food although a little pricey. Be ready to have to hunt for a table and take it just as the last party is leaving

Parking can get crowded but there is a shuttle that will take you between lots.

Gear rentals are available however I haven't used them and can't comment on the prices/quality of the gear.

Lessons are available for every skill level. This mountain offers every level of challenge.

Good lifts and terrain. Very nice day lodges. Overnight accommodations don't really exist on the slopes; you have to stay in Ogden/Weber or Huntsville/Eden. Good snow and better grooming. Helpful and friendly staff. Good food options. A really fun resort with terrain for all abilities. As ski resorts go, it's *really* easy to drive to. Traffic is a little bad on the road to the parking lots, but they try to manage it well and they have shuttles to get you from the parking lots to the lifts.

Beautiful lodges, at base and mid mountain. Nicer than tired 70s era Park City stuff. 3 Gondolas, very nice. My only complaint: they let these guys go down the mountain on those sit-down ski contraptions (and no, these are not handicapped people, I saw them jumping off them at bottom and walking to Gondola). They are dangerous, I saw them cut skiers and snowboarders off. I can't believe the resort allows these for non-handicapped people. Note to management and ski patrol: change this!!

It s a great place for skiing! It has a really great abundance of lanes, for beginners and for more experienced persons. It has a big area for lunch, with two restaurants at the top of the mountains, and with a great variety of options of food. Fun for the whole family, we only spent one day there but wanted to stay more. The only bad thing is that the lanes close very early, at 4pm, we wish it could stay open for more time. And it has a great view.

Extremely impressed with this place!! Had an awesome day skiing here today. Hardly any wait to get on the lifts, super long runs to the base, and the snow was awesome! Day started off right parking close to the lift. You will love this place. The resort is bigger than the map leads you to believe. It is worth the drive up north.

First visit after frequently visiting Tahoe and Colorado ski resorts. Obviously a big recent snow dump really impacts your view of how good a resort is so I ll base this decision of all all other factors.

First day was on a Saturday and there was a 20 minute line to get into the resort, 20 minute wait for a shuttle, and another 20 minute wait to board the gondola. I did hear this was unusual for them but just wasn t a great way to start a ski day. Disliked how many times you have to take off your skis to transverse the mountain. Otherwise decent selection of runs and some gates. If you like tree play this is not the resort for you.

If you do go and need lodging we recommend the Alaska inn. They offer free shuttle service but you just need to confirm you need it within 48 hours ahead of time.

The ticket office was closed, but Nic helped us out big time! Thanks! Update: Nic said to call him the next week and he would help with a credit we had. I've left over 6 messages for Nic over a month period and he has never called back. Why?

Best resort in the Ogden area! Amazing views, easily accessible, and GREAT snow! Would be 5 stars if there were cheaper dining options for the broke boys. I've heard of basin brownie Bros, guys that ski around selling cosmic Brownies for a dollar, but I haven't been lucky enough to find em yet.

Great, friendly staff. Amazing food and even better snow managing. The resort is large enough to where you can always find a run with only a handful of people, if only for a few minutes. Once you find a parking spot, even if you're in a different state, snowbasins shuttle system will get you on the slopes in no time.
