Great location, will underpin north Shields fish quay as a destination location.

Lovely houses and a unique design concept, let down by poor workmanship, chatty materials and appalling customer service. Urban Splash are an absolute joke. The houses are beautiful, but do your research before buying.

Worked at Smiths Dock 1959 when it was a ship repairer's yard, not a housing development.
mv Amastra with a double acting Doxford, was in at the time. A Shell tanker, subsequently blown up port side engine room in port in South Viet Nam. It was repaired and carried on.

I lived in Netherton Ave, Lynn Estate, N S, with Auntie Barbara and Uncle George "Geordie" Jameson. Great! Again in 1961 attended South Shields Marine Technical college, daily using the ferry, "Northumbria". Then 19 and 20 now 79.

Fantasic new housing development with loads of heritage and good to see imbracing modular construction!!!
