2 stars not cause of the office 2 stars because of the people that come here I waited for over an hour for my kids to be seen and I expected that its a dentist office the front desk girl that took care of me was very sweet and so were the others however she must have gotten screamed and cursed at so many times I was in shock that she still kept a smile on her face and was able to tolerate the anger from the patients especially this one one who kept on purposely going up to her asking her how much longer while screaming at her instead of her asking nicely at the end of it my son has a scheduled surgery but my daughter needed a ct scan which is fine maybe you people should be nicer to these girls up at the front they are just trying to do there job maybe I'll bring her chocolates when I bring my son for his appointment no human should be talked to the way that man was speaking to her

Sally Ann was great. She is very police, attentive and professional.

My visit was very nice. Jaime was very helpful, she told me everything that was going on and answered all my questions. Jaime was super nice and I really enjoyed having her clean my teeth. For the first time in a while my teeth actually felt clean after a visit.

I had a few ok appointments here. I'd read the horror stories about scheduling, but hadn't had any issues until this current appointment.
I originally had a standard six-month checkup/cleaning for January 31st, but got a call a few days prior that I needed to reschedule because the doctor was sick. Fine. The ONLY available appointment prior to August (!)was February 28th at an awkward time, but I took it. Today (February 26th) got another call that the doctor was out and I needed to reschedule. This time, there are no availabilities until September, but I could join the waitlist for cancellations (since forced rescheduling seems to be a trend, I imagine this list is long and I shouldn't have to be on call for the first available inconvenient time when I didn't ask to reschedule). Absolutely ridiculous.
I called up a new dentist and they were able to see me the next day. I won't be back here.

I wouldn't know how the dentists are at this place. I've tried to call several times in the last month to make an appointment for my son and I. Nobody ever answers the phone. It always goes to voice mail. I've left several messages and nobody ever returns my phone calls, as stated in their message that they will, to set up an appointment. Maybe the management should look into replacing whoever is working the phones? They probably lost a ton of customers, since there is absolutely no way to contact them to set up an appointment. I'll probably be making my insurance company aware of it, also. I've never had this happen before. I guess I'll have to keep searching for a dental practice who actually answers their phones and/or returns phone calls.

This place has 0 respect for people's time. I had to wait over a month, and in pain, for a root canal and when finally AT my appointment, the doctor was not there and they had to reschedule me. The second time after completing my paperwork and waiting for over an hour the doctor decided that he/she couldn't see me because was running behind. I WAS ON TIME FOR MY APPT. They could do NOTHING for me. I suggest if you're looking for reliable and prompt care, go somewhere else. I will be taking my business somewhere where my time, and money isn't wasted and I feel respected, and cared for. If I could give this place -5 stars I would.

Will never go here again. Referred a friend and she had a bad experience. They move you from room to room like cattle ready to be their next victim.
Not one knows any common decency.

Oral surgeon made me go somewhere else because while under sedation I was screaming, yell and crying. I never in my life had this happen. The surgeon stopped and when I came around he told me, "you can't be yelling, screaming, and cry because other patents don't know what's going on". I had no clue I did that. The way they treat people should be evaluated.
Paid for temporary upper teeth and they made me lower teeth. They did make my uppers within a week after their mistake, but who runs a business like that? No one can take blame there. You always need to leave a message and eventually someone will call back. I never had problems at any Dr or dentist offices that you left a message. You are more important to them, so your call is important. Not at smile krafters.

The dentists aren't of issue, it's actually getting them on the phone and it being a good connection with someone who actually works in the building and speaks English well enough to be understood.

We had an 5 star experience during his exam today !!! From the ease of check in , xrays , exam ,consult , etc . , the team did an excellent job and I applaud them for their efforts. I want to give special recognition to Hygienist SallyAnn ! She is an awesome professional who provides thorough service with a sweet persona. She and Dr. Drysdale get extra cake !!!

I've been trying to get a hold if this place for over a year to get to the final stage of my braces and nothing. This place is the worst when needing to get in contact

I have been calling this place for close to a month now leaving messages after messages because I cannot get through to anybody. My daughter is 6 years old and uses these dentist and she has an abscess in her mouth and no one will give me a call back for the last month and I can't get through to anybody. Which is common because the last time I needed to make a dentist appointment I called and called for about a week and it course no answer or call back. Then someone finally called me back three weeks later telling me they're returning my calls. Completely ridiculous

God awful the receptionist is unprofessional and rude can imagine all the clientele they must be losing because of how nasty and ghetto she is the actual dentist will back their rude ass staff 100% good luck trying to reach them and if you do they schedule cancel reschedule 1 million times and NEVER return calls...you will wait hours before actually seeing someone so make sure your schedule is clear for the day it's unfortunate that I had to give 1 star...read the reviews this is NOT the only dentist/oral surgeon clinic in Allentown...dont waste your time

This isn't a review, but wow. I am glad I did not take my kids or myself. It seems like service here has gone down a lot! Two years ago this was a 4.5+ stars. What happened?

It is a safe environment especially during this pandemic and the Hygienist Jaime was extremely nice and sweet!

SEE DR PATEL!!!! I made an emergency appointment for tooth pain that I had been putting off for well over a year, maybe even longer and I saw Dr Patel with his assistant KiKi. I have never been so impressed by a dental team in my life. He went well above and beyond to maneuver appointments around so that he could actually pull my 2 teeth that were beyond help during that same visit. He was gentle and caring and made me feel like a person even though I haven t taken stellar care of my teeth. I never felt embarrassed, not once.
He played Billy Joel while he pulled my teeth and made sure I didn t feel a thing. Kiki was so sweet and accommodating. Just an all around great experience. I thought recommend to anyone who needs dental care and may be afraid to go or embarrassed, no need - he s a genuinely nice guy.

Some may have already read this but I somehow found it, which I didn't know was saved. I feel I was cohersed to rate them with a 5 star rating. They actually clicked on the 5 star instead of letting me. How rude!!!

Waited 2 months for dental work,then they cancelled today.They never pick up when you call back ,always have you on hold.Please shut this terrible place.*Very rude and nasty phone receptionist .Non professional.30 min on hold is bull.

So, after months and months, I finally got in. The dentist and assistant were nice. I had to get scheduled to have a tooth pulled. So, I show up for my appointment today and the lady says I'm scheduled for fillings, not a tooth pull!! The oral surgeons weren't even scheduled to be in today!! I have never dealt with such unprofessional customer service, as this place. I asked the lady if it happened often and she said "no". Apparently they aren't honest either, as these reviews prove how incompetent they are. I'm guessing my best bet will be to pick up my files and find a dentist office who actually knows how to communicate among each other. My insurance may not cover it, but at this point I'm afraid I'll walk out with all my teeth pulled and other stuff I don't need, due to the terrible communication. Maybe even in the hospital, if they don't review meds, etc. before doing work. Absolutely NOT worth it!! I've never experienced such incompetence at a dental office in my life....and I'm 48 years old!! I rescheduled my day, was nervous as anything, then I had to go home. I wouldn't doubt if they charge me for the appointment THEY screwed up. We'll see....and I will be sure to post it, if they do!! Wasted day and I'm back to no appointments and they'll probably never get in touch....and I probably would never get through if I try to call, since they never return phone calls. I give up. If you have the option of going anywhere else.....RUN!!!! Don't walk....grab your files and RUN!!!! Oh....and I'd give them zero stars, with both of my reviews, if it were possible!!!! The nice dentists and assistants deserve better than that sloppily run office!!!! All this stress and I still have a broken tooth in my mouth that I've been trying to get taken care of for nearly a year with these people!!

One word. Horrendous. If I could give 0 stars I would. My girlfriend was scheduled to have her wisdom teeth removed. Upon arrival we noticed a young man struggling to walk out of the place. We asked if they had wheelchairs for after the surgery. A simple, harmless, question. The staff and surgeon began to flip out on us stating numerous times that they are not ghetto and that she will not receive a wheelchair. I do not see the correlation between those statements. They refused her surgery, moments before it was supposed to occur. All this aside, they were not taking COVID precautions. Yes, a dentist, not taking COVID protocols seriously. How disgusting.

Friendly service and always smiling, amazing doctors and amazing hygienist!

I take all three of my kids to the pediatric office. I have taken them all twice, and have always been happy with my experience. I feel the hygienists and the doctor take a lot of time to explain to me how I should properly care for my kids teeth, and the Dr. even recommended certain foods and drinks that are better for my kids than what I had been giving them. The staff is extremely patient, especially with my 3 year old. My kids are comfortable and happy, which makes me happy. I recommend this office to all parents that have young children, especially those that are afraid of the dentist. I was slightly uncomfortable at first because they do have a rule that adults are not allowed back for the work with their children. Once I met Dr. Katie at the cleaning appointment, I was entirely comfortable allowing her to work on my child without me being present. I took my son for 4 fillings, and he came out of the back smiling, with a prize. When I asked him if it hurt he said "No, I got to watch cartoons." Great practice!

I am a first time patient. I needed some of my teeth to be pulled . When I called in I was told I needed a referral from a dentist but I didn t have one , the manager said no problem I can help you with that too she scheduled me for all of my appointments including my surgeon appointment . One stop shop and I was done all of my appointments were set up ! When I came in for my appointment for my teeth to be pulled , the girl who greeted me was so nice and helpful So soft spoken and kind . I had my visit with the doctor and he was excellent ! I was scared to enter this place at one point because of my fear of seeing the dentist but after dealing with these people, I am so glad I did ! I give it 5 stars and more !

I had wisdom teeth surgery here and it was awful. I drove out once and didn t get checked because they were so far behind. Drove out again and waited 1 hour or more before getting a 15 min console. The day of my surgery had to wait 1 1/2 hours before being called back. They didn t explain anything to me. They didn t tell me what to eat, how to properly clean the areas, what i can and can t do. I had to call them and wait forever to get through. The one said of my mouth got infected and I asked them what to do and the lady said i guess the same procedure as when you had your teeth removed but i don t know. When I got my teeth removed they gave me liquid and i wrote liquid on all my papers and it s in the system but they prescribed me pills for the infection and didn t answer the phone when I called an hour before closing. I wasn t impressed at all with this place.

First of all You know they are unprofessional by the way they respond to the bad reviews. However I been there for the first time and they were very unprofessional. My son was in pain and he had the nerve to tell me to take him back to the dentist he came from because he won t go over another dentist s work. I had just moved here and my son couldn t see his old dentist because of his insurance. Then the women at the desk didn t even know what they were doing. Sad I have to go through hell to find a good dentist for my kids. I wouldn t even give one star.

Never had an issue until recently with this place. They were always so nice and friendly now I cant stand the call center staff they are the rudest people ever. I had work schedule issues so I needed to reschedule my kids appt a few times ok my mistake but when I schedule am appt at 730am I'm there til almost 9 waiting yo be seen to only get told I need to reschedule an appt cuz my kids insurance changed. Like they are so ridiculous but when patients do something that they do they're wrong. I went off on a call center person today due to the fact their manager told them I would need to reschedule my kids filling appt when I got told 20 minutes prior that she was going in for a filling appt but now it's only for a cleaning. First off I never met such a rude dental office with half the staff is stuck the hell up. Then to be so rude and change ur policies every other phone call. But the rest psh. Yeah forget it. Good luck there. Definitely looking for another facility to take my kids that will appreciate them and not be so rude and change policies every other phone call. Smh.

Had the absolute worst experience of my life trying to get a simple root canal here. The day we had scheduled to get the root canal done I show up with my grandmother after driving for over an hour for them to tell us that they had to reschedule and they claimed they called my grandmother but they did not(they could have called me as I am over 18 and I know they had my phone number but they did not). We made the mistake of rescheduling and coming back a week later where I waited over an hour just to be led back to a room where the nurse told me I would have to wait longer but she just wanted to bring me back to a room with a tv (it was all politics, honestly would've rather stayed in the waiting room). Then a different nurse had to move me to a different room because they needed certain equipment and once I was in there it took the dentist roughly half an hour to come in and begin. The dentist was very rude to his nurses and even called one "stupid" after she said something to his from the hallway and walked away. The dentist was fully aware that I have TMJ and while he was working on me and had my jaw held open with a plastic contraption he kept leaving to work on other patients. I am a very understanding person so I was okay with him being busy but every time he'd leave it would be ~15 minutes and he would just leave the plastic contraption in my mouth to hold it open. Only one of the nurses/dental assistants was amazingly kind and helped take the contraption out so that I could go to the bathroom as at that point I had been there for over 4 hours. After the procedure the dentist prescribed me with Vicodin, which they don't usually ever prescribe more than just ibuprofen for root canals, which I believe was because he knew I'd be in excruciating pain due to my mouth being held open for so long. Months after it was done I can still feel pain in the tooth and yesterday it split right down the sides, so I am extremely upset about having to go through all of this torture just for the tooth to end up breaking. I have never left any sort of review but Smile Krafters has wasted so much of my time and it was the worst dental experience I've ever had.

My husband got a tooth pulled 2 months ago here and now has a infection in the extraction area we have to go a different oral surgeon because are regular dentist just told use his gum is dead and he going to have to get it cut open now to get this taken care of the one oral surgeon has a naste attitude and does not know what he doing I suggest do not go here you will get a bad infection like my husband has now

I originally really liked SmileKrafters. The last time I went for a cleaning, I saw the dentist for less than 5 minutes, which is unacceptable. I had an appointment schedule for the end of this month, they called me today to reschedule because their office will not be open at the time of my appointment, their next available appointment isn't until August. This is ridiculous and unacceptable!!

This place is horrible and very unprofessional, I made appointment before Covid-19 that was for September, the week of the appointment they told me they needed to reschedule the appointment because it was an conflict in the schedule. The earliest they was able to give me was October, they called me to confirm the appointment today and then called me back 4 hours later to say they have to reschedule once again for the end of November because the dentist will not be in. How this place stay open so long is suprising because this is not the first time they have cancel appointments for schedule errors. Do not waste your time here find another Dentist.

Super ghetto. Impossible to reach front desk when calling. When I do get ahold of the front desk they are super rude and nasty. Those girls that work in scheduling need to be fired. They also lack proper training!!! I was there 6 months ago for my routine cleaning and none knew what they were doing! It also takes an hour to actually have my teeth cleaned!!! I don t understand why they schedule you for a specific time but then you aren t seen until 1-2 hours. Not worth the headache. Go somewhere else.

The staff at Smile Crafters is AMAZING. We always get Tina! She is so good with my daughter. She has such patience with my daughter! They are easy to make appointments and your never have to wait long in the waiting room.

My initial visit for appraisal and consultation went well. Just had my first visit to get work done; and it could not have gone any better. The work was done quickly, properly, and almost painlessly. Doctor Heisler and her helper were great. Five stars.

Everybody is so friendly! They have a great oral surgeon Dr. Jack's! He is the go to for extractions. Dr.Patel in general dental is awesome as well!

Well I looked for this clinic by google since I had a horrible toothache and I can say thank you, thank you, I love it, they are the best, they took my tooth out so well and they treated me wonderfully this will be my dental clinic from now on, thank you

At the orthodontics front desk, Milagres and Estela are so kind and very sweet whenever they are checking me in. They are also incredibly fast at getting my next appointment scheduled. Dr Dhyllon is always prompt with my treatment and has me in and out within twenty minutes. I love this ortho and I m glad I m getting my braces through them <3

The people at the front desk have no customer service skills what so ever. No smiles, attitude and just unpleasant. Dr. Brian was very nice to my son and one of the employees were very nice.

Horrible experience. Every time I come here I wait atleast 45 minutes passed my appointment time. It is ridiculous and a shame because the doctor is great but they have no time management skills.

Great experience! My daughter was super nervous and our dental hygienist, Sheri, calmed her and made her feel comfortable instantly! Sheri explained everything she was doing before she did it. She is soft spoken and friendly. Thank you for making her experience a positive one!

Terrible experience the office called me and gave me an appointment and when I show up missing work and my kid missing school they tell me that my son does not have an appointment that they made a mistake the staff is rude and unfriendly terrible place to take you're kids to.

I hate this place so much. I had called to schedule an appointment and the lady who answered sounded like she didn't want to help me. Isn't that disrespectful? Anyway she said that they would call me back and now it's been over a week and no one has called me back. If I could give it 0 starts I would. I do not recommend this place to anyone. I had Dr Nguyen (pronounced WIN) as my oral surgeon. What a good guy. I couldn t be happier. Got me in and out quickly, did a great job. Removed a broken tooth (molar) that was down in my gums. Didn t even need an ibuprofen when I got home. Can t thank them enough

What a pleasant surprise!! The office is very well organized and the dentist Dr. Nyuen nice. They also have the most high-tech X-ray machine. No biting and switching. It takes 30 seconds. All you need to do is to stand there, with the machine rotating around you. Very happy with this office!!

Terrible customer service. **Beware** I have been trying to schedule an appt for three days now and the same person answers the phone offering to make a note of it and have someone return the phone call. Today was my first time at SmileKrafter I took my mother in law to her appointment and we had a great experience I will be changing dentist for sure, Jaime the hygienist was awesome on my scale from 1 to 10 she will get a 10 from me great job.

My wife has been fighting a issue with the office since last August and we still don't have it resolved.the most annoying this is after leaving messages all over the place she don't even get a call back when she does get ahold of someone they now put a call center in all those people do is say we have nothing to do with the office we just email them if they decide not to call you back that's not our fault .then when my wife finally gets someone from the office they say they didn't get the messages from the call center even though my wife has every call she made saved in her cell phone call logs. I am giving someone a chance to call her if not I will come back n this site post pictures of what was done to my wife's mouth and tell everyone the entire story. As well as go on social media and contact the American disability office do to the handling of her. For years we have come to you and wrote great reviews we have sent many people to your office I myself just got better dental insurance and I need pretty much work but I refuse tocome to your office till we resolve this issue .if I need to get in touch with her insurance and explain everything g to them I will do so to because it's either you lied to my wife and I about what she needed done that you can't do the paperwork correctly or you shouldn't be in business for not following three letter from her carrier telling you exactly where you need to look and what you need tosend Steve Ebert wife Lori Ebert

Smile Krafters has a very clean, beautiful, and modern facility. Their facility provides many dental services, their rooms have TVs within, and their staff is professional. When I first stepped in there, I was both amazed at how good everything looks and at the fact that there seems to be a surprisingly low amount of patients.

Now, many months and several services later, I honestly can see why.

To begin, this is one of the more expensive facility. Even with dental insurance that offers discounts for non-covered services (which I have), services can easily cost up to several hundreds of dollars for the simplest procedures. However, I won't fault Smile Krafters for this as, again, the facility is modern and it provides a lot of services.

What I do fault them for is incredibly poor customer service, though. One of the my biggest annoyance with them is that they rarely explain things to me well, frequently change procedure points without fully informing me (but later argue they did simply because they have a piece of paper saying they did), and, more importantly, their dentists can be extremely rude. On more than one occurrence, I would be asking questions when the dentist would quickly fire back answers while walking out the door.

Worse, they once sent me an invoice saying I owed them near a thousand dollars listing a series of procedures which I received months ago and already fully paid for. Luckily, I kept documentation proving I did, in fact, fully paid for everything and I cleared everything up, but I have to wonder what would have happened to me had I not kept documentation.

Overall, I would rate Smile Krafters a 5/10. The facility is great and I don't mind the high prices myself (though I know others might), but the customer service is a huge downer.

Had a cleaning with a wonderful Hygentist Jaime. Quick and painless, so thorough I've never felt my mouth so clean. Great staff with a beautiful office

Had a back molar extraction today. I'm a single mom with a tight scheduele and only had a few day window to get this done. They squeezed me in and were very accomadating! I have had many bad experiences at dentist.. I was very nervous and both the dentist and assistant made me feel at ease and treated me with dignity and respect even though I was really scared. They comforted and encouraged me through the procedure and gave me great after care instructions. If you need a good,kind dentist with awesome staff this is the place to go. I will be making appointments for both my children. Excellent just excellent! Couldnt have asked for anything better! Thank you for getting me through something I usually dred...I wont be as nervous next time that's for sure!

Extremely unprofessional, staff did not call me for my appointment and then they say the earliest I could get in was 8 months out?? I never review places but this is the worse dental office in Pennsylvania
