Best lawyers hands down! I would give them 10 stars if that were an option. They really took the time to explain things and walked me through every step of the way. They made sure I understood what was going on through each step of the process and In the end got me what I deserved.

Lots of broken promises. "just worry about getting better" they said "we will take care of everything" they said. That was until I refused to sign away my part 7 benefits under an "all-in" settlement. This would have given Anthony Vecchio a cut of my out of pocket expenses. I also wish I could only post 0 stars

If you have a small claim he will pass your file to some "Freshman" lawyer, totally dis pointed, he claims to fight for you as a boxer but it is just cover. If you are in a wheelchair maybe you may get his attention.

Patrick Gordon of Slater Vecchio failed to represent me fairly. I believe he never read my entire file and acted in bad faith. I was not in a healthy state of mind when he suggested I accept a low ball offer from ICBC. Depression and anxiety had their grip on me, and I was on pain medication for over a year.
1. The defendant was found 100% liable.
2. My employer was found guilty of harassment and unjust dismissal.
3. The arbiter suggested I leave the poisoned atmosphere that had developed in my workplace and I received a small award after 12 years of super annuated service. He said "your lawyer will love this case" because my public employer had shallow pockets.
4. I had mortgaged my house to the hilt to provide for my family during the lull in employment due to my injuries. I was living in an economically depleted town at the time and was forced to sell at a loss and move back to the city to secure employment.
5. Mr. Gordon of Slater Vecchio said he couldn't represent me because my new job paid me $20K more than the job I left and no jury would feel sorry for me.
6. Mr. Gordon of Slater Vecchio also stated that I was a fighter and no jury likes a fighter.
7. I was fighting for my human rights that are protected under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms in Canada! I subsequently dropped my claim to appease Mr. Gordon of Slater Vecchio.
8. Mr. Gordon of Slater Vecchio used scare tactics on me saying if I didn't accept the offer of settlement I would probably receive a smaller award if we were to proceed.

I should have fired his ass on the spot, but due to the mental duress I was under, I caved. I lost my home, my health, and my self respect. The real estate market exploded and I've been in the rental hole since. I'm 65 years old now, will have to work til I die, and all hopes of retiring comfortably have been extinguished thanks to the incompetence of Slater Vecchio and specifically, Patrick Gordon.

Very bad Service - Super Unprofessional - They Have no clue what they are doing.

Two weeks ago I sent an email to Mr Slater, with the subject "Complained about conduct" I have yet to receive acknowledgement of my email.

After spending months trying to get a simple plan how to deal with my case.
The lawyer Saro Turner Fired me, the client, because he says I refused to talk to him, what is nonsense as he has never called nor addressed my questions in writing.

All that because they cannot make a single legal argument, not a single one.

Also My files have not arrived as they have sent them somewhere?

A mutual understanding like a contract?
We did sign one of those, or are you now agreeing with me that your company has breached the contract?
As it was stated by your firm that it disagrees with the substance of my argument however have been unable to provide a rebuttal in months.
Would that not mean that my argument has merit when you can not provide any argument against it?
Specifically as you now seem to agree that your firm was unable to provide the agreed service.

When I first met with her regarding my MVA case, I was concussed and extremely frustrated and confused from talking to ICBC. After signing up with this law firm I tried for several months, without any luck, to get a hold of someone, ANYONE, at this law firm, so that I could go ahead with my claim and my recovery. I left voice messages and emails, over and over and over again but I never got any reply whatsoever. As a result of their negligence I was unable to get the sufficient information which would have enabled me to get a discount on my massage therapy and physiotherapy. As a result, I was unable to afford the costs of my recovery and had to halt my appointments. Almost 6 months later, I get a call from Slater Vecchio's office demanding that I pay for some paper work that they had to put together ? They attempted to extort $1000 out of me for doing absolutely NOTHING other than neglecting my case. If you're looking for a law firm and a lawyer that gives a damn about you, look elsewhere. These guys are a bunch of amateur, disorganized, money hungry freeloaders in suits.

I have to say Todd, Frank and everyone on the Slater Vecchio Team were 100% about me and not all lawyerly. They talked to me as a person a member of the family if you will. My care was and still is the top priority above all else. I would strongly advise you to look nowhere else give them a call first and I personally guarantee you will not be a number you remain a person and they heal you but taking the load off and dealing with all the paperwork. All you need to do is go to your appointments and begin your healing process. I promise you won't regret it.

Throughout my case the Vecchio team were prompt in providing me with updates. They were clear about transactions I should retain for reimbursement. Having them work on my behalf, I was able to focus on my life and recovery with complete peace of mind.

I had the worst experience with this company. I signed with them at the start of a brain injury claim. I ended up being my own treatment coordinator, getting myself referrals and then lined up for treatment through GF Strong. They didn't send me to a single assessment from the beginning (which apparently is a big no- no when you have a brain injury- you need a base line established right after the accident as much as possible).... and the bare minimum would have been to get my taxi account reinstated through ICBC (which they failed to do), where I was eventually fired. The entire time, I thought I had a lawyer working my case, and only found out at the end that I had a 'case worker' assigned to me, with no law credentials. I had several long emails expressing my concerns that they were not doing anything for me, and I would still leave frustrated. They would bring in an entire team, but I think I maybe saw Tony the only time was when I signed my intake, if after I can't remember, if that says anything. My case worker after three years at one point said to me, when I asked if I should be getting any assessments done : " how should I know, I'm not an expert in brain injuries". I ended up being the person to call THEM and ask that they book a court date. They ended up filing my claim with the WRONG information for some of my symptoms, and only scheduled me for a 2 week trial... which I found out later when I switched over to Murphy Battista. Right from the start at MB, I was treated like a real client, who was valued and important. They all took the time to explain everything to me, to start setting me up for assessments right away, and that's when I found out... my NEW lawyer noticed that some of my symptoms and my initial claim submitted to court were completely irrelevant to my case. When I ended up going to court mediation, because they'd only asked for 2 weeks instead of 4, the defense had the opportunity to ask for an extension for another 1.5 YEARS since my case was so complex (which was apparently obvious if they'd taken the time to review all my therapists and doctors' evaluations). My team at Slater Vecchio left me without bartering chips. I had to settle without that option of seeing them in court in August, which was a huge disadvantage. I only wish right from the start I had gone to Murphy Battista. I made the mistake of being one of hundreds of clients under Tony- who has many 'case workers' who oversee his cases, and you are just a number there, or it feels that way. When my new lawyer applied to see my files/transfer my case over, I was told to expect a personal call from Tony to try to keep me- instead, they sent over a bill immediately. The only reason I got any sort of real settlement is because of the hard work and dedication from my brain injury specialist, Brian Brooke, at Murphy Battista- who only takes on real cases and takes on less of them so that he can provide amazing service and real results. He had a very short time frame to clean up the mess that Slater Vecchio left for him over 3 years.
