I have wanted to skydive for awhile now, but was always so nervous. Until i met Dan Baltazar here at skydive Chicago. He was amazing! He Listened to all of my concerns and questions and took everything at the pace i was comfortable with. I got media from Anthony and the photos are outstanding. Overall this experience was one of a kind, and i can t wait to jump again with the great crew here!!

The wait was long and made me anxious and scared. When it was time to go everyone was helpful and made me feel safe. Eric flyeasy was an awesome partner. He calmed me down and made me feel safe. Loved every second after I jumped. I had a good experience with you guys.

I had an amazing experience. The office staff were very helpful. The hardest part was waiting for my jump. I only waited about 2 hours, but it felt like 5. My instructor Christian was very friendly and reassuring.

The jump itself was absolute sensory overload. I loved it. I'm definitely signing-up for the $129 special.

Everything about this experience was amazing! There was no point where I felt nervous or second guessed my decision to skydive here. The staff was very friendly and very knowledgeable, even just the people that came in town that weekend to skydive were very helpful. We were given our instructions numerous times by our tandem instructors so we were aware of the whole process. My tandem instructor was Billy Bob and he was funny and awesome! He definitely made me feel at ease and confident with everything! Would highly recommend anyone that is fearless to take the risk and skydive, you won t regret it!

I did my first jump today at skydiving Chicago, I was lucky to have Chris as my instructor he was very nice and humble which made my experience even better.

A great experience with highly experienced, professional jump instructors. I was pleased with how I was trained, by video as well as hands on. The entire process was described in advance, and the equipment seemed current and well organized. It was an awesome first jump and I look forward to ding it again.

My girlfriend and I went skydiving for our anniversary and it was an absolute blast. The process was quick and easy, and the partners we were paired with were great. I jumped with Marcus who was awesome and really made the experience very fun and memorable. He kept things like hearted and enjoyable, while still managing to make sure I felt comfortable with everything going on. Marcus did a great job of educating me along the process and really teaching me a lot along the way.

Overall great experience, highly recommend!

The skydive itself was absolutely amazing! If you are ever considering skydiving, first of all, do it. Second, this is the place to go. The staff was lovely and approached my friends and I before we even asked any questions. They were super friendly and beyond helpful. Amazing staff. The only things holding me back from giving this a 5 star review is the option to stay the night in a cabin. There aren't any bathrooms or trashcans inside, so you must go outside of the cabin to use those things. But that isn't the end of the world. I would easily recommend Skydive Chicago to anybody.

Awesome adventure with my good friends from BHHS Starck RE. Also a birthday celebration. We all had this on our bucket list for years. My tandem master was the best. Beside the fact that he is handsome, he made sure I was in my gear safe and secure. His wrist pictures turned out perfect! The landing was a breeze. Thank you Christian Cody and Skydive Chicago !!

Greatest team of instructors i've ever come across. Made me feel at home. All I can say other then that is I wish I had a full week to go camping and skydiving out there.

Fabulous, fabulous experience! Registration and check-in process was smooth and pleasant. We enjoyed hanging around watching and getting to know some of the sport jumpers. Everyone we dealt with at SD and all the jumpers we met there was so friendly and supportive of us first timers. We really appreciated that our tandem jumpers and videographers made a point of including all our party so we got different photos and videos of the same experience from different perspectives. I think I watched mine like 10 times the first day alone! Definitely recommend getting the video and photos especially the first time. Everyone we show them to say how incredible and professional they are! I had Mike Hart as my tandem and he was awesome! Super attentive to all the safety aspects and making me feel safe. Checked in with me constantly about how I was feeling and gave me an incredible dive, canopy ride and landing. My girlfriends all want him on their jump :) Thanks Mike! We have already scheduled another dive and are bringing several friends who were jealous of our experience and want to do it too! See you again September 21st!!

Awesome experience! Instructor explained what we were doing clearly throughout the jump. Built confidence and excitement. Totally sweet!! Marcus is a top notch instructor, SkyDive Chicago is a great facility. And jumping out of a plane is insane!!

We were keen to book, however are told that...if we cannot jump due to weather, we lose our $50 deposit. That policy seems kind of poor, and seeing as we dont live in Chicago (were visiting from the West coast) we have no value in a rain check certificate. Seems strange that we would pay $150 (three of us) for absolutely nothing (in the event of driving out there and rain not allowing us to jump). Other jump schools seem to have a more flexible policy.

I absolutely adored Skydive Chicago! Every instructor was so kind and comforting, I was not scared at all to jump for the first time! Skydive Chicago made my birthday unforgettable and I cannot wait to come back!!

I was afraid to jump, Donovan was incredibly patient and professional as he allayed my fears. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and will jump again.

I was a little bit uneasy about it, but not as nervous as I thought I would be. The environment is very welcoming as well as the staff. My instructor/tandem partner was great, he was very nice and super funny and took my skydiving experience to a whole new level. I had a blast and would 10/10 recommend this place for new skydivers or anyone who s looking for a great time!

Thanks to Dan and his great instructions and positive vibe I felt like it wasn't my first time, but more like I was already a pro. Clear and intensive instructions made the jump a very pleasant experience and I knew right away what I should be doing. I couldn't have imagined a better person as an instructor. I would recommend skydiving here to everyone, even if you are a little scared (as I was), I promise you're gonna love it!

This place is disneyland for adults. Great staff, a safety conscious environment, and fun skydives! Facilities are great for camping, swimming, and grabbing a beer at the tiki bar.

Definitely the best place to go to for skydiving!!! My first experience skydiving was amazing. The person I was attached to (Chad) made it an experience one to remember! Thanks to all of the staff for making my first experience fun and check in very easy! You all will see me again!!.

Marcus was an amazing instructor who taught me a lot! This was my second time jumping, and I was happy I actually got to pull the parachute this time! Everyone is just awesome, and I will definitely be coming back to jump again!

The original concept of the training at Skydive Chicago was patterned after the process the owner took in teaching his own kids how to skydive. The present owner is one of those kids. He has won national and world championships right up to present day. All of the students at Skydive are taught through this process. I am very fortunate to have learned through this same program.

Skydive Chicago never disappoints. From the first cup of coffee in the morning to the professional load organizers, ground crew, and pilots all the way to the food truck dinner at the end of the day. Always feels like home no matter how long I've been away.

Both instructor and camera guy very energetic, fun and made you feel comfortable. Overall great experience.

Truly an AMAZING experience. Definitely recommend Skydive Chicago. Their staff is awesome, very knowledgeable, and friendly. This being my first time Skydiving didn't know what to expect but my instructor Anthony definitely made sure that my number 1 priority was to smile and have fun. I love this place because they seriously care about my life safety! Though I finally completed my first jump on my fifth visit, I will not complain at all. The reason is that this team has very high requirement on the weather conditions (which is for my good indeed) compared to other teams in Chicago.

Had a wonderful experience with my first tandem jump!! Loved every minute of the actually jump. Sean, who I jumped with, and chad, did the videographer, were an absolute pleasure and made my experience 100% better. They were funny and kept me in the moment the whole time. The entire staff was very professional and awesome to deal with. My tandem instructor Chad was great! You could tell safety was top priority from him and everyone else on the staff. Skydiving is freaky- it seems there's really no way around it! However, Skydive Chicago offers a friendly, playful, and extremely professional atmosphere which certainly aids in calming your nerves. They have freshly cooked, hearty meals available on site, and that gave me the nourishment I needed to get my body ready.

Jonny was an excellent instructor who showed me a hell of a time in freefall, along with the parachuting run as well. If you've at least heard of this place like I had, do your jump here and you'll understand why! Shout out for the impeccable professionalism all-around!

I went to skydive Chicago with my husband on my birthday. It was a great experience and beautiful view from the sky. Staff were very friendly and professional. Johnn was my instructor, he is so cool and his instructions were easy to follow for an amazing experience.

I just did my 13th jump at Skydive Chicago. The most professional and comfortable experience you can have skydiving. I recommend that everyone come here when they want to do their first skydive. The staff is amazing and the prices are great!!

Decided it was finally time to cross one major item off of my bucket list, and took the plunge at Skydive Chicago this July 4th. It was my first jump, but definitely won't be my last!

Best experience! First time Sky Diving and it won t be my last. This place was recommended to me by a friend, and I am so glad I got to do this with my boyfriend (his birthday gift from me). The process was fast and easy and everyone was so helpful and nice. Ryan definitely made my experience so much more exciting and fun. He was very clear about the instructions and made me feel comfortable all the way through. He let me take control of the parachute and was guiding me on how to steer it. He also took the best selfie pictures! Totally worth it. I also liked how he took his time to write everything on my log sheet. I can t wait to go again!

Our group had another phenomenal jump and camp at Skydive Chicago! We go every year for the fourth of July fireworks, camping, and the best of all the jump. Marcus Lucas has been my tandem partner twice now. He makes the experience a thrill and you immediately want to go again. The staff at Skydive Chicago are not only efficient and kind but they make you feel welcome. We can't wait to go next year!

If you are nervous about jumping out of an airplane for the first time, these guys know how to make you feel as comfortable as possible. My tandem jump with Chad was really first class - he walked me through everything that was going to happen at least 3 times, and was genuinely ecstatic and happy for me the whole way. The whole campus is impressive, and everyone there from the kitchen staff to the people behind the counter processing paperwork were really friendly and encouraging. AJ was a gracious host and took me out for a tour of the property, which seemed to be like one enormous family of sky-diving enthusiasts! I walked in there thinking that it would be a once in a lifetime thing - and your first time definitely will be - but I absolutely have an interest in coming back because of how awesome this place was.

I did my first tandem jump with Adam. Marcus was my videographer. Both were so fun and made me feel at ease. Adam did a great job of preparing me for the jump and then we did a slow, relaxing canopy down per my request. My video was excellent - I can't believe what great shots Marcus was able to get. The entire experience was amazing! Bucket list moment for sure!!!!

It's also really settling during the waiting period before your plane is ready, because you literally see 30 different people jumping, landing, and having a blast.

My first jump was 06/2016. I loved it so much, I went right back 2 months later. Both instructors were amazing and always tried to make me feel at ease. And all other staff member were very friendly and welcoming. I've already prepaid for my next jump this year. Can't wait!

This was a really good experience. Everyone was very nice and knowledgeable. Rogers with the training film, Charles that took my pictures and videos thank you for the great shots. Also Chad who did my jump with me. Everything was explained to me several times and that was nice. I couldn't have ask for anyone to be any nicer. This was on my bucket list and a one time thing for me but if you are interested in doing a jump I would highly recommend Skydive Chicago for a all around good experience. I would recommend wearing earplugs or some kind of ear protection. I lost my hearing for two days due to the wind but no worries it is back now.

My experience with Skydive Chicago was what I would expect from a company that is world class. The staff at Manifest was cordial, helpful, and knowledgeable. I felt that I was being given intentional personal service--that was nice! My TI was professional, courteous, and did an excellent job of checking with me several times throughout the pre-flight, flight, and canopy ride. I felt looked after, but not smothered.

Best experience of my life. Shoutout to Chad my instructor for getting me hooked on skydiving. I ll be starting my solo license classes in a couple weeks

I spent weeks trying to get a hold of someone on the phone about a skydive purchased that had to be used within a year. I never reached anyone. I finally had to just drive there, again, and hope to skydive. Now it is post my first tandem and I want to purchase my second tandem before signing up for classes to get my license, and again, I can't get a hold of someone to purchase my second skydive. It makes me really wonder if another drop zone is a better idea, since getting a hold of anyone has proven impossible. Also, the second tandem price online is stated at $129, while the price in the first tandem pamphlet is $149.

As far as the skydive itself, I felt very safe. The place is nice. But if you want to do a skydive, you just have to go there and plan on spending the day, and expect to be disappointed if the clouds do not cooperate. The experience is only positive by actually going there. Since I live over a two hour drive away, this very fact of only getting things done by having to go, such as even purchasing a second skydive, would eat four hours, because they can't seem to answer the phone. This lack of customer service seems to override the total experience.

I went with my brother for our first skydive experience. The staff were professionals, curteos and funny. The location was clean and comfortable. I jumped in tandem with my instructor being Chad who was constantly making sure I knew what to do and making my safety a top priority. Sadly we had to wait 5 hours due to a crazy gust that came out of nowhere, making the jump no longer safe. Regardless, this is not Skydiving Chicago s fault, in fact, they are VERY clear from the get go that they are not going to risk our safety if the weather changes for the worst. Once the weather changed to a managable environment we were able to make the jump, which was worth the wait.

All in all, it was an excellent experience, one I will treasure and never forget. I would definitely recommend this to anyone thinking of skydiving for the first time.

Fantastic experience for my first skydive. Everything was well explained and the atmosphere was great. My tandem instructor, Chad, was excellent and made me feel very relaxed. Everyone was very friendly and I felt very well taken care of. Facility is impressive and has a small restaurant on site. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

I'm 66 my son has been sky diving here going for his class A license. Adam has had nothing but great things to say about all of the people. I took the dive ( haha ) as it was on my bucket list sort to speak of yesterday Saturday June 8th 2019. I myself was amazed to how accurate my son Adam was, everyone i was introduced to treated me like family and it really made me feel at ease and comfortable.
I am so glad i took the leap, out of the plane at 13,500 feet it was just amazing. My Tandem instructor made me feel at home from the start to the end when we touched down. Safety was number 1, check, check and check up to the point of being at the door just before i said Geronimo.
I can't stress enough that if you jump already or thinking of doing it please go to Skydive Chicago.

Skydive Chicago was truly the best experience. I decided that I wanted to go for my 18th birthday with my dad and it was the right decision. Their facility was huge and clean. Since we decided to sign the waivers electronically, the entire check in process was super easy and stress free! The instructors Rogers and Marcus were so kind and helpful and made us feel completely safe. We had gotten the ultimate photo and video package and I would extremely recommend it. Over 200 photos and selfies were enclosed and also a 6 minute video of our whole experiences were there. We are so blessed and happy to have gone with Skydive Chicago and having the instructors that we had to make our experience memorable. Thank you Skydive Chicago, we will be back soon!!

What a great surprise for my bday! My girls finally got to see mommy on her 3rd jump at Skydive Chicago. Thanks to my awesome instructor Linley and videographer Charles for adding to my experience above the clouds. The great staff always makes you feel like family so I will continue to repeat my visits to Ottawa. Next time I hope to take advantage of the Skydive Chicago Cougar Campgrounds for a weekend and party after dark. Carpe Diem!

My experience was fantastic as was my instructor, Mr. Clair. He took every precaution he could to make sure that, even with a bad back and two artificial hips at 63 yrs old, my landing was so smooth, I barely felt it. He informed me of everything to expect and he let us coast in the air as long as 6 minutes. I'll probably go again in Summerfest of 2020. Til then, I'm sure I'll be back to watch others dive.

I'm thrilled Skydive Chicago is so close to my home; only 8 mile's or so to have a great time!! Thank you again for one of the best times of my life.

Definitely one of the coolest things I have ever done my instructor Rogers Stack awesome I will definitely be back for more.

I jumped with Chad, it was an amazing experience! Check in and wait time was easy & quick. Chad was really helpful and made sure I was totally comfortable with the whole process.

The training session was simple and Chad provided additional training before the actual jump. The media crew was awesome and provided some amazing photos and video.

I would totally recommend Skydive Chicago for beginners and even those with experience.

I'm 53- healthcare professional, afraid of heights and WAS ( note in past tense) scared about the whole thing!!! I found the staff- professional, the equipment and facilities top rated. My tandem instructor along with all the other instructors and supported staff- engaged in making this experience for myself and family -one to remember. Thank you for a GREAT Sunday jump and I am planning another jump hopefully soon!!

If you want an adventure this is the place to be.. me and the husband came out last week and had a great time both of our instructors Johnny and Christian Cody made us feel relaxed and safe they were calm and willing to explain things as much as was necessary. Our camera guys were also the most full of life and good vibes kind of people you could ever wanna jump out of a plane with. We did get second jumps and hope to be back soon to learn more. Skydive Chicago has some really great people working there. We came to them with a special request to help us with a project we were working on, and everyone was extremely kind and accommodating, making the jump incredibly successful. The dropzone itself was a great place, and I'm definitely coming back for my next jump.

First time jumper on 9/13/13. Had a lot of fun and thought the Skydive Chicago staff was excellent. If you are thinking about sky diving, this is the place to go. Well worth the 4 hour drive.

What can I say, everyone at the facility was very friendly and carefree which is good when you are facing your first Sky Dive. I was partnered with Vince. He was very reassuring and confident. I felt very secure with him. He was courteous, and fun, my experience of the dive was very good. I did get nauseous but that is not anyone s fault. The videographer was also a lot of fun and my video is excellent, all in all it was a lot of fun. I am not sure I would do it again, only because I was only seeking to fulfill my bucket list. Who knows? I never say never.

This was an amazing experience and i loved the people at skydive chicago. They are fun and great instructors! Christian made it fun, relaxing and was very professional as well! The jump was exciting and i cant wait to come back. If its your first time, get the video package. You get your own camera person who jumps with you to capture all of your awesome experience. Its worth it. You wont regret it!
