Great experience! Jumped with Chad. Worth waiting out the weather if you have the time. I want to visit again on a clear day! There's a cafe and a few board games to help pass the time. Go jump out of a plane!! Awesome customer service as well!

I wish I could articulate the incredible feeling and rush of a first-time jump (there's just NOTHING quite like a skydive!) but I CAN say just how incredible the staff is at Skydive Chicago! Everyone was so inviting and welcoming it sincerely felt like being part of a big family. My tandem partner, Angie, made me feel so at ease which allowed me to enjoy every aspect of the jump - she really knows her stuff and was so kind! Highly highly recommend Skydive Chicago for any first-timers!

Exhilarating rush beyond words. Not sure which is the best part, that split second before jumping out of the plan or the minute of free falling.
Skydive Chicago really have their act together, the staff is courteous, friendly and helpful.
Made us feel comfortable and safe. My tandem instructor (Jeff) was excellent and professional. The facilities are clean and welcoming.

Just did my first tandem skydive at Skydive Chicago and it couldn't have gone better. I jumped with Christan and he was incredibly professional and a ton of fun! All of the staff was friendly and made me forget how nervous I was to jump out of a plane. We're definitely going again!

From the class, all the way to the landing, everything was exhilarating! Not only because we were about to jump out of a plane... but because the instructors and staff were so friendly & excited that they too added to the experience! It was my second time jumping but my first at skydive Chicago and I would totally go back as well as recommend it for anyone interested!!

It was my first time skydiving and I have to admit, I was supper nervously dead scared jumping out of the plane. But it was supper fun. Thanks to all the knowledgeable staff and specially to STEVE, who makes my fly safe and my experienced was enjoyable, and the camera man that helps to make it more memorable. Would like to do it again. I recommend skydive Chicago to all my friends and family.

Staff made me feel comfortable and welcomed. Everyone was polite and with great vibes overall great environment. I loved my jump even though I was a bit scared at first. My master Rogers Stack was awesome from start to end and I will be coming back to skydive with him as much as my wallet will allow me.

Skydive Chicago is awesome. My first jump was the ultimate experience. My instructor, Rogers Stark, made my experience the best. I felt like he shared his love and passion for skydiving with me and made that part of the dive.

I ve been skydiving four times now and each time was at Skydive Chicago. I can t recommend them enough. They take your safety seriously while making sure you have a great time. My most recent instructor was a very cool guy named Billy Bob. He made me laugh, made me feel safe, taught me things I didn t know, all while strapped very tightly up against me from behind. I think we re going steady now. 10/10 would go again.

My instructor chad was phenomenal. Really funny and nice, made me feel very comfortable. It was such a cool experience made much cooler by the friendly staff and area. I will definitely be coming back and requesting chad

Yesterday was my first time skydiving, it was an excellent experience. I did the high altitude jump and it was awesome! My tandem master was Rogers Stack and he was great, I felt safe and secure the entire time. I will definitely be back again!

We stayed there thru the Harvest Host program as we are traveling across the country in our travel trailer so it was the perfect opportunity to skydive. Everything about it was awesome!!! If we didn't live so far away I would definitely be visiting again to take advantage of the second jump. The instructors were all super nice more than willing to answer any questions or concerns. We met the owner that evening talking about the whole Harvet Host program...hos little boy and my little girl played for a little while.... just an all around great experience!!!

Tried a half a dozen times or so to go for my dive and was cancelled every time due to the weather. I paid to extend the time I had to go as the season was ending, and upon the next one starting, they had no record of the extension. If my many cancelled jump dates were indeed due to weather, I can t imagine many other people getting to jump, as the weather on my dates couldn t have been any better, which is why I picked them. As for them not having any record of my additional payment to prevent expiration, I m positive I was calling the same place and number, as this was what kept coming into question on their end. After seeing other negative reviews with similar comments, I thought it d be helpful to leave mine as well,for anyone wondering what skydiving is like, when you choose SDC.

What an experience! Felt confident in the procedure being my first tandem. Can not thank Rogers Stack enough for his professionalism. Juiced up on adrenaline I can hardly remember the other staff members names but everyone played there part in making it a phenomenal experience. You guys can guarantee I'll be back!! If you can jump with Rogers he's the man, just don't think twice. DO IT!

This was my first skydiving experience and it was amazing! I went for my birthday and what a rush! The whole thing from start to finish was professional, fun, and safe!! The people were friendly and fun to joke around with which helped ease my nerves! What a day! What a blast! What a memory!!!!! Thanks Skydive Chicago for helping me jump into my 40 s!

It was an awesome experience. This was my first time doing skydiving but Chad really made me feel comfortable. Enjoyed the jump and landed safely. Would love to do it again.

This place is HUGE! Started off by being closed what I considered pretty early but understand can't stay open if we don't have jumpers. I roll in and looking for a place to stay. Come to find out you are supposed to check in prior to pitching a tent. I was greeted with one of the grounds guy who hooked me up with a place to tent. The next morning the same guy see's me hanging out by myself and comes over to let me know the hanger is open. I was up early excited to jump so had a bit of a wait to get gear checked and waivers signed.
When it is time to jump a little disappointed I had NO ONE to jump with. I hate doing a solo at a new drop zone. but I received a great briefing and I was confident I would be good. Great ride up and smooth safe landing.
at this point I decided I was going to move onto the next drop zone. The SAME GUY has now worked it tail off to find me a fellow belly flyer. Unfortunately I had already packed all my stuff and made the decision to head out. To the one guy that did everything to make me feel welcome I thank you sir and hope to see you in the future and get a jump in with you.

I had an absolute blast skydiving here. It was my first time and while nothing really can prepare you for the feeling, I was very happy with the whole experience. Ryan was a fantastic instructor and made sure everything went smoothly (which it turns out is very important). I definitely plan on doing it again.

The jump was awesome and everyone was friendly and helpful! Chad is the best and make it a ton of fun and Josh was cool too.

Genuinely the best day of my life and all thanks to the AMAZING and kind staff!! The overall fall was incredible and breath taking and most importantly it was SO FUN thanks to my awesome instructor Tim!! He was so cool and kind and overall a really great guy he made sure I was 100% comfortable and safe at all times!! Also can t forget about my fun videographer josh! For also being the coolest and recording ever bit of this awesome day! And with the coolest shots! I m DEFINITELY coming back soon because they say the second fall is even better than the first!! Absolutely fantastic! I had a great time. The gear I rented for my jump was brand new and in excellent shape, just as all the other gear that I saw in the hangar.

I m impressed by the professionalism of the manifest team, the jump staff, the pilots, the mechanics, the restaurant s staff and the facilities en general.

Wheather you decide to jump or just observe I know you ll enjoy the experience.

Very relaxed atmosphere in general. Tandem guys are chill, experienced, willing to answer questions. My actual jump was more terrifying than I expected, but it s a once-in-a-lifetime thing! The picture/video package is probably reasonably priced although I never got the video sent to me, just the photos. The videos of the others in my group were , you know, priceless in a way but had a sort of mass-produced feel. The class/instruction was mainly watching a video made by lawyers. The true instructions came from the tandem guys.
People should experience this, and this place is good at moving a LOT of people so it worth the drive out to Dayton Illinois.

I had a awesome time . The jump was fabulous. My instructor Chad, and videographer, Jonny. were upbeat, happy, and energetic. Chad made sure several times that I was comfortable and knew exactly what was happening and what I was supposed to be doing. The exit out of the plane is the best, the ride down after the chute opens is just like being on a giant Ferris wheel The landing was superb and easy. The only reason I gave this a 4 out of 5, was the counter people checking us in were very matter of fact and did not seem happy, or to be open for questions about the process

i never thought i would jump out of a plane for fun, especially during a pandemic...but i did and I FLIPPING LOVED IT! Anthony(who is AWESOME)was my guy and made the jump safe and fun. IT WAS ABSOLUTELY AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE AND CANNOT WAIT TO DO IT AGAIN! Thank you Anthony and Skydive Chicago!

Skydive Chicago is exceptional in all areas!! From AJ who provided the class, to Angie who was my tandem instructor, and Charlie on video...the entire experience was fantastic!! No question that your safety is of utmost importance, followed very closely by insuring your absolute enjoyment and thrill of a lifetime. The entire staff, even those not directly involved in my jump, including Kasie, were so attentive and interactive during the holding time before takeoff, to really help minimize the natural build of anxiety. They said from the start that the goal was to create our best experience, and they surpassed all expectations!

The whole experience was great. The instructors were friendly. I felt very confident in them.

Instructors were informative and made us feel comfortable and at ease. At no point did I feel like I would be injured or that my instructor wasn t completely capable. They want you very involved so you learn but instructors also make sure that everything is done properly. My instructor was Anthony, I thought he was great and made me feel ready, comfortable, and excited! He repeated all the most important things many times so that I felt confident I knew what to do at every step. Super awesome, we re definitely going again! Be aware; you may have to wait awhile even after your booking time to make sure the skies are clear enough, but there s plenty of space to sit and relax, they serve food and drinks, and you can watch other people coming down!

There is nothing negative to say about this place. Some friends and I went for a jump later in the season and camped out at the facility. The temperature plummeted that night, so to make sure we were ok (we were) 3 different staff members walked to our site with extra fire wood, blankets, and tea with whiskey. They wound up hanging out for a bit. Some amazing stories were told from an amazing staff.

I had a great time, professional ppl, I really enjoyed it.

Skydive chicago, when i tell you i had a great time celebrating my 31st birthday with yall yesterday i really mean it. Super nervous while even walking in but, the receptionist made me fill calm as i told her it was my first time she was helpful to all my concerns. Now to my tandem master Ryan who was super great at guiding me off and on the plain about skydiving. That dude if awesome! Told him i was terrified and he made me feel calm and comfortable i would highly recommend ryan to anyone who wants to jump. Scared on the plain a lil but when i jumped it was amazing! Thank you soooo much skydive chicago for a wonderful birthday.

I waited what feels like forever to skydive and It was totally worth it!! Skydive chicago is an awesome place with amazing instructors! Anthony Ehel was mine and made it way fun

Great for first time or experienced participants! Lots of focus and emphasis on safety which makes uncertain individuals feel much more comfortable. Video footage they offered looked better than I expected. Did a tandem jump w/ Jonny who deserves a raise because his energetic, considerate and focused mentality was above and beyond what I could have expected! Only negative comment is that other participants felt that their tandem partners could have been better (not great w/ hygiene and friendliness).

Words cannot describe my experience here. I see it as my future at this point.

I had a great time making my first jump at Skydive Chicago. My experience was fantastic, from checking in and getting training, to meeting my jump instructor, Christian Cody, and videographer, Ron. I was encouraged, instructed and was ready to jump when the door opened. I am grateful for Christian, who took great care of me and remembered all the things I forgot during the freefall time. I would do this again and highly recommend the folks at Skydive Chicago for an outstanding experience.

I went to Skydive Chicago on July 7th and it was nothing short of amazing. I had never been skydiving before, so I had absolutely no clue what to expect. We had to wait a good amount of time before we actually jumped, but it was a 100% worth it.

I did my first tandem jump with Jeff Brown, who I consider a professional in what he does! Jeff has done a little under 4,000 jumps and absolutely loves skydiving with a deep passion.

Jeff is a high energy, fun guy who made my first time jumping an absolutely unreal experience. Not only was he extremely knowledgeable and professional, he was absolutely hilarious and took all my "first time nerves" away. He is a huge reason in why I will be skydiving again!

If you go to Skydive Chicago, request Jeff Brown for your first tandem jump and you'll be in for a spectacular time.

Had another great experience during my second tandem at Skydive Chicago! The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly, and the skydiving instruction I received during my experience was exceptional! Tim K. went above and beyond to answer all my questions before and after the jump. He also took the time to share some wisdom from his past skydiving experiences and treated me as a student instead of a passenger.

I was thrilled to learn more about the AFP Transition Class and the Advanced Freefall Program. The next steps towards becoming a fully licensed Skydiver!

Me and my best friends had his 40th birthday here, was by far one of the funniest things we have both done, we when back the next day and signed up again. We also are getting a group together to jump with us again. Can't recommend it enough. You have to do it at least, you will be hooked.

How do you begin to describe an experience like this? Unfortunately, there aren t words to give justice to it, but, I will start with my instructor, Baxter... I absorbed every moment of that jump, it took a solid hour for my adrenaline to wind down. I didn t doubt the process because you never left me feeling as though if I neglected to do something that you didn t have it covered. The entire team is solid and knowledgeable. If you are considering video/photo packages, do it! The quality and quantity of what they provide is exceptional. I had no mental capability of focusing on a camera and they still got shots that were amazing. Skydive Chicago is a well oiled machine. Not any part of this left me wishing for anything different. Thank you all, so much for a day unlike any other! You re # 1! Ps, office ladies, did we miss our names being called sorry for stalking you all so many times, just know you are appreciated.

Skydive Chicago has a great team of instructors who are in tune with the nervous excitement of us first-timers . Our group was delayed due to weather conditions, yet the instructors were extremely empathetic to our disappointment. They kept us company and talked to us about their experiences, they shared helpful tips, they encouraged us to return. Once we did, they took the time to recoach us through our very first jump. Shout out to 'Flyeasy' who supported my frenzied enthusiasm while simultaneously calming my nerves. Eric did a very thorough job explaining the steps involved but also reminding me to enjoy the couple minutes I had to fly. Thank you to the entire team!

Went skydiving for the first time with my boyfriend today and it was absolutely amazing!! My instructor was Donovan and my boyfriend was Billy Bob. Donovan has such a great sense of humor but was very reassuring at the same time because I was so nervous. He asked me what I do for work and I told him I m a registered nurse, to which he responded that s great, because I m very accident prone! Everybody was awesome here and we will be coming back!!

Did my first tandem jump this week and it could not have been a better experience. Christian was a phenomenal instructor and made sure I felt comfortable and was fully prepared for the jump. I love their sense of humor from the reservation email they send you. A very courteous and organized team. I skydived with Chad who made me feel safe, funny jokes and made the whole experience worthwhile. The awesome team of photo/videographers captured my most precious moments. I had wanted to skydive for a very long time & I'm glad Skydive Chicago made my first tandem jump memorable. The experience is something I will never forget...your customer care is PERFECTO!!

Let me start by saying I rarely leave reviews but wow! If you've never been to skydive Chicago you are truly missing out. The ammenities are great and the staff is awesome. I performed a jump here over the weekend and it was such an amazing experience. I've jumped one other time down in Miami and my experience at skydive Chicago was way better. I jumped with Angie and she was so nice, extremely informative, and really let me get hands on with the jump. It felt very personal from start to finish. I highly recommend this place I cannot wait to go back. Thank you so much for a great time! Until next time!

What a truly amazing experience! My very first tandem jump. My instructor was Tim Koeppen and he definitely made sure I had a ride of a lifetime. He was very professional and even threw in some good humor. I can't wait do it again!

Nice place, one star because they don't let you use your go pro to record, even if I paid for video services 119$. That sucked.

I've gone to Skydive Chicago 3 times now...it is so addicting!!! Tim Koeppen is an AWESOME tandem instructor! I highly recommend this place above any others.

I really enjoyed myf irst skydiving experience here. The staff here is very friendly. Everything went smooth from training to the jump. Planes look like they are well maintained. The bar here, serves really tasty wraps. I had the veggie one and bosh it was reaaaaly good :-) and it's not expensive. I can recommend it to everyone, single skydiver or in groups :-) prices for the jump and photos and video are average in this industry. I had my pics and video on flash drive which is also a nice souvenir. Go ahead and take that jump, don't hesitate you'll love it ;-)

My experience was amazing. I heard how the procedure was going to go about three or four times, so I definitely knew what to expect. My instructor Eric V. was awesome, he checked my harness multiple times which definitely made me feel safe. I can't wait for my next jump.
