I am a teacher on SkillShare and multiple of my classes were took down from their website due to uploading too many classes in one week ( I understand thats my fault) I tried emailing "Allan" which is probably just an automated system to republish my classes after the 1 week waiting period with no response. I also had to upload the classes more than once because everytime I upload a class it goes straight into "closed" status but if I upload the same class again it goes to publish. I have tried emailing as well as leaving a voicemail with SkillShare multiple times with no response - My Classes are under ComputerCavalry if ANYONE over at SkillShare cares to take a look

scam site money was taking out of my bank with out me making an account with these people beware this site is a scam

I m happy with the quick response with my refund. I was not expecting to be charged anyway, but even so, I ve always received emails confirming everything, and I just got refunded my anual subscription. So no, they re not a scam at all, It just needs a bit more of transparency on regards of subscriptions etc. Thanks for the efficiency

Great team working on a great mission -- it's hard to find companies that are both strong businesses and have such a positive social impact.

A great place to work with a smart, mission-driven team and a number of cool perks to boot. It helps that I love the product too; lots of amazing classes by really talented people who know their stuff--especially in creative fields like design, illustration, photography, writing, etc.

would NOT recommend. They charge your account with a YEARLY subscription after the trial (this is not communicated) and will not do any refunds. I have been trying to get in touch with someone which is impossible. Pathetic customer service. They are thieves which is sad since their company is suppose to be sharing knowledge to artist.... very disappointed they would take advantage of creatives.

Beware - this company is a scam. I've never even heard of them or visited their site but somehow my 15 y.o. daughters debit card was recently charged $99. I think they just randomly charge various cards without people knowing. Check your online banking, people!

A useless company that isn't great for learning, and in their spare time likes to dabble in fraud :)

What s going on? Why do you guys got money from my account? This company is a scam. I ve never even heard from them or visited their site but somehow they took money from my account,I ve never been in New York , I m from another city and they took my money. I want my money back immediately

Please watch out! Where on Earth are you charged without a prior notice and you get a message from your bank that you made an authorization.
I just got a message from my bank that I authorized $99. When? How? When skillshare? I need a refund please.
That's a scam!

The app was buggy, the videos take forever to load and sometimes don't load at all. I cancelled my membership at the end of my trial and I was still charged $99, and it looks like they aren't going to refund me, but my membership is still cancelled...Poor way to run a business.

Great place to work - awesome team with great sense of mission. Our app has awesome classes for creatives and more!

Be careful with your bank account details for fraud with this company

I was charged for something that I didn t even sign up for. All my money wasted!

You get one star when you spam people who never opted in receive emails and when you add no real one-click unsubscribe button. Enjoy.

Could not find the classes I am interested in and am hoping to get a refund for being charged 99.99 for not using the app. Could be a good deal if you find what your looking for. Just did not fit for me.

Scammed me and then refused to give my money back. I had never signed up for anything with them. Such lovely people!!! Had to get PayPal involved for a refund.

you have to sign in and mess around to simply unsubscribe from particular emails. 1 star.

I've never used this company yet I found a $99 charge in my account. When I inquired (they never pick up the phone you have to go through the "help" email. They told me the charge was for the account of some other individual. I told them I didn't authorize any charge and to reverse it immediately. Their customer service person said he was escalating this to there Trust and Safety group (whoever they are) and they would be contacting me. I've heard nothing and when I try to contact the help@skillshare.com email it bounces back with an error message saying they've exceeded their message capacity. Based on what I've read this seems to be a common theme with this company. I'll be reaching out to the appropriate legal authorities to discuss this firm's behavior.

This company stole $113.92 outta my account. The charged me twice and I don t even know what this company is. I have never done business nor will I ever do business with this company..give me back my $227.84! Scumbag thieves!

Well-curated classes! I especially love the Simon Sinek, Guy Kawasaki, and Seth Godin classes!

SkillShare is an amazing resource and tool that revolves around community. I attended a talk at their HQ in Flat Iron with @Swiss Miss! It was a lot of fun to hear her story building Tattly, CreativeMornings, etc and to hang out with other creative entrepreneurs. The staff was all super friendly, plenty of beers, and tasty snacks! The only thing I can say about the place is that their entrance & gathering room could use a little more branding lol. They are an icon!!

Love this app! It s honestly the coolest thing ever to be able to just learn trades directly from your phone. I m a film and video major in school, so the cinematography courses were extremely helpful in learning tricks and tips to make movies cheaply, that still look great!

I gave this app a 5 stars because the customer service is out of this world, too.

Great classes for both professional or personal interests, and I'm excited to explore new hobbies through the site!

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE SITE FOR BOTH THE STUDENT AND THE TEACHER!

Skillshare is a serious scam. It s really disappointing because it seemed like a really positive and progressive platform for learning. Unfortunately this company lacks transparency on its policy with memberships. They bury their terms in the fine print and do not take responsibility for their deception to take your money. Do not sign up with this company. They are unapologetic about the way they misinform users. Many people can attest to this painful experience.

Overall, video levels in terms of quality and content is extremely poor. This company is a joke. If you want to educate yourself use YouTube or Udemy. Work much better.

Will charge you even if you cancel. Beware. They do not offer quality products, so when you inevitably cancel your membership you will be charged anyway.
