I don't know what the previous reviewer is talking about (maybe disgruntled since the place she claims is so ghetto would not hire her?). The docs and staff are great. This is one of the only Joint Commission approved health centers in the State. Clinical outcomes are posted in their website. The actual clinics are clean and easy to find.
If I have a choice to choose no star that would be my rating. My mom been with this clinic for 20+ years n we always have a to wait for hours just to get through on the phone. The only reason why we haven t change clinic is because she like her doctor. The staff are nice when your in person but I just hate the phone line! I feel like it is almost impossible to set an appointment if I don t go in or set an appointment right away after been seen. Even if I create an profile account online just so I can make an appointment online but I still can t even do that! I don t want to waste gas to go in just to set an appointment. That is just ridiculous!
Worst place, don't here unless you want to get killed or robbed. Been giving my mother the wrong medicine for her depression which only made her feel worst everyday and stealing her money seeing psychologists where only insulting her at the time of her visit.
Finally she found a great doctor at PROHEALTH. Everyone here please go to PROHEALTH if you want to get the right doctors and medication.

PEOPLE HERE ARE SO RUDE! FROM THE MINUTE YOU WALK IN YOU FEEL AND SEE THE GHETTO RECEPTIONISTS! SOME EVEN HAVE VISIBLE TATOOS! Also, I onced interviewed with HR and she is as MEAN AND RUDE as they get! Snotty attitute, MRS. IM ALL THAT!! Then the wic office is as crazy as ever! Security officers??? What is this? JAIL? Horrible experience too, they are so slow! Was there for over an hour! For sure never again going back to the clinic or the wic office! This place has so much to say! How can they call community health centers?
Doctors, Midwives, Pediatricians, Nurses - all excellent. Never had an issue and they provide trustworthy care.
However, its calling the clinic and dealing with some of the staff that is difficult. They are often rude and come off as a little inexperienced.
If you don't mind going thru a few hoops before getting excellent care, then this is a good place.
It's also affordable for those who have private insurance like myself.
I went their today and they told me they can't c me I asked y she said because I'm not a patient there so I said if I was having a heart attack would you see me and she said no.I'm wondering is it cause I'm black think I need to protest them
The only reason this place gets any stars is because all the midwives there are excellent. But this place has a serious problem with getting patients seen at appropriate times. Everyone has to wait for at least one hour before even being taken to a room. After that it's more waiting for the na and then even more waiting for the doctor/midwife. Then more waiting. Every time I go there I spend more 2-3 hours in that building but my checkup with the doctor or midwife is only about 15 minutes. And don't even try to call to schedule an appointment I have waited for an hour on multiple occasions and never gotten an answer. Their voice message says appointment schedules are available from 8am to 8pm but if you call after 10am no one will answer.
My kids have sick a cell and everytime i turn around the pediatrician have left the clinic without notice let me remind u this the 2nd doctor that has left in matter of months something is definitely wrong here my kids need the best care and this place sucks ass after being with them for 7yrs its been hell
They only give covid-19 testing to their patients apparently. However This is a testing site ? Their Attitude is not necessary.

All I'm going to say advocate for your children and your own health. After years of changing doctors. I finally got the test results I need. The lady that drew my blood. Said " I don't want to hear it about you being a single mom no one was talking to you. Mind your business and be professional. Alot of them are there for the paycheck.
I have been here for two years, trying to make an appointment, I am a new client and they do not want to accept me, they always say that they only accept children and pregnant women, they do care for my children but I bet lousy so much that they do not send me a message for appointments. ..
I have been attending the clinic since 2014. In these last months the lousy services. They try to improve and what they do is getting worse. Lousy reception service.
For 3 days I've been calling the clinic to speak with my health provider and nobody answers the phone. I sit and sit listening to crappy music and a recording saying, "my call is important", but not important enough to answer the phone. Does anyone work there?
It's always bad, they are so unprofessional and let's not forget to mention the one on 20th street they are so disrespectful whispering about your appearance.

I enjoyed my appointment. The receptionist is there to do as she is hired, she did just that. I couldn't care less if she had a belly button ring or what she snacks on. That's none of my business. I went there to get checked out for a health problem.
I am from Germantown, WI and I started going to this clinic back in 2007, and I have always gone to it since. I love it, and I will always stick to it. However, they are not good at handing out prescriptions, they sometimes forget. On contrary, they always can tell what's wrong with you! I have to give it a 5 Star Rating!!!
It took them 9 years to realize I had PCOS, I ve had back pains for 8 years and they told me it was because I was over weight I came to find out when I was HOSPITALIZED that I ve been having gallbladder stones and last year it was so bad I had to have my gallbladder removed. I also told my doctor I was having trouble seeing from far and he told me that I might just have trouble adjusting my eyes when in reality I need glasses. Thanks 16th street clinic. Staff are just rude and the doctors don t even care the last time I saw a doctor there she wasn t wearing a white robe she was wearing jeans and tennis shoes. Not professional. Won t ever recommend them.
This clinic is the worst I have been too. They make you wait at least 30mins to be seen. The nurses there are terrible at there jobs. They talk about other patients medical conditions openly around other patients. Every time I go to this clinic I leave with a bad experience
