Great friendly religious place that hosts the best Halloween event for the children...

Awesome Church. It may seem big from the outside, but it has a small church feel to it. Everyone is friendly and the sermons are excellent. My wife and I have attended First Free for the last three years and we became members two years ago. Lots to do for kids of all ages too.

They hosted a family fun day. It was called Summera family fun day. Kida like a carnival. Bouncy house and free food and games. It was nice.

I m not religious but went for a memorial service. The building was clean and tastefully appointed.

The Service Is Amazing Along With The Blessed People that Attended.

Amazing church, have grown up here my whole life. Really recommend the youth groups

First Free has been around the Rockford area for over 100 years, one of the oldest and most well respected church in the area. Great staff, The church brought on a new Head pastor 4 years ago and ever since the church has taken off! Newly remodled on the inside it brought the church from its 70's decore to the 21st century. Great childrens programs and plenty of different life groups for all ages! The church has 2 services, 830 for your traditional service and 1030 for the contemporary service. I have attended this church my entire life since I was dedicated as a baby their back in 1991. First Free's goal is to bring people into a life chnaging experience with God. Love: God. People. Life.

I loved the sermon. We all should use things that happen to us as learning experiences to better our walk with God.

I've been a member of this church since 1998. Great Bible based ministries and preaching prophetically. Faith driven, community loving .

Were told that you only needed to bring school supply's to see the newsboys,this was announced at Matthew West, even called the church and was told the same thing Showed up and all of a sudden you needed tickets LOL..Many people turned away,they basically changed the rules just days before the concert, we got fortunate and had people give us tickets even after being told to leave by Church workers,we didn't stand in line freezing for over an hour for nothing,it was a great concert,but, they went about this all all wrong..

Great Bible based church. Larger, but has a small welcoming feel. Pastor Luke and his wife Jessie are down to earth and are great people!!

This morning 3/18 the music was good, but the sermon was terrible, empty, I came away totally disappointed . I'm sorry to be negative but you must remember the rule of church growth.

"They come for the preaching, but stay for the fellowship."

If the preaching is vacuous people will come once or twice and move on.

My wife and I are right now deciding whether or not to stay at First Free.

Love Summerama Summer camp here!! Kids love it. Staff is amazing.

Best place to worship. Nobody judge's you. Come dress comfortable. Lots of seating and very huge inside. Large crowd so if you want to come in for one or hundreds of time your able to without being questioned. Pastor Luke is young and full of energy to help everyone understand and practice the daily bible.

I joined choir and Bible study 2 and half years ago!! Love it here! People are great and singing is awesome. 2 Services.

The worship was ok. I felt like I was at a rock concert more than worshipping God. The preaching was very good. The people was not very friendly only one person welcomed us.
